This paper empirically examines what factors affected the termination of anti-dumping measures in Korea during the 2006-2019 period. Employing a meticulous literature review, the paper investigates the WTO's and Korea's rules on the termination of anti-dumping measures and sets up the related variables in the Cox proportional hazards model. The empirical results show that the GDP growth rate, employment, and trade competitiveness in domestic industries had positive effects on the hazard of the termination of AD measures, while free trade agreements had negative effects. By industry, the hazard of the termination of AD measures was less prominent in the steel industry, while it was more prominent in the machinery industry. These results imply that AD measures in Korea had the properties of a proper trade remedy policy and, at the same time, a protectionism tool to sustain its domestic industries, depending on industrial characteristics and other trade policies.

Currently, the world is facing severe inflation due to Corona and the war in Ukraine, and it is causing a lot of difficulties for us. Companies are facing a lot of restrictions on their economic activities compared to the past due to supply chain problems and foreign exchange rates. In this situation, many countries have been implementing various smart factory promotion projects to secure competitiveness through productivity improvement in the manufacturing industry. In this study, the contents of smart factory promotion in major countries were reviewed, and problems raised about the implementation of smart factory in Korea, which are being implemented based on this, were described. It is most reasonable to judge the success of a smart factory by the achievement of the performance indicators presented at the time of the project. Therefore, based on the performance index of the business, which is a key factor in determining the success or failure of a smart factory, we investigated whether the company's smart factory promotion can be carried out successfully through examples

This research aims to investigate into Official Development Assistance (ODA), which may be regarded as assistance or aid to increase competitiveness in the overseas construction field through presenting, in the initial step of construction projects, schemes to secure financial resources to those who place orders. In this research, the present author analyzes ODA of advanced countries and S.Korea and distributes and collects questionnaires to experts in related fields in order to investigate into the current state and problems of overseas construction and ODA.

Give high priority to the technologies that can be directly applicable to the U-City development projects which are in progress by many central and local governments. Create a real world product at the end of R&D phase by testing prototypes in test-beds or test-labs. Recently, new construction technologies have been developed, but they are rarely being applied to the construction filed. In this paper, the basic design was examined so that various technologies can be selected through a test-bed, analyzed for the real situation, and applied to actual construction sites. Improve productivity of regional and urban construction exercises and improve competitiveness of related products and services using IT-based telemetering/GIS technology.

Franchise store retailing is taking on ever greater roles in business and commerce in China. The diverse product range, small-batch order, high frequency and time-specific requirements inherent in retail logistics make it the most complicated of all categories of logistics. In franchise store retailing, expanding business scales make trans-regional development a trend. Without a well-functioning logistic system, the standardized delivery of products would be held back, impacting trans-regional development strategy and operational costs. Therefore, the efficiency of franchise store retailing largely depends on logistical efficiency. The integrated and streamlined management of franchise stores depends in large measure on their logistical centers. As such, logistical centers constitute the key link and bears on core competitiveness in franchise store retailing. This thesis begins with an analysis of the current developments and four basic logistical models of franchise store retailing in China, proceeds to summarize developmental trends as well as focal issues and proposes an efficiency enhancing plan.

With the expansion of the global supply chain, the efficiency of maritime logistics is considered a crucial factor for countries' trade and competitiveness. Nevertheless, prior research has not thoroughly evaluated the efficiency of maritime logistics, including countries' ports and shipping capacities. Accordingly, this study examines integrated maritime logistics efficiency at the national level using DEA-CCR, BCC, and super-efficiency DEA. Furthermore, this study identifies a difference between the selected countries' maritime logistics efficiency and LPI (Logistics Performance Index) through Spearman's correlation test as an ad-hoc analysis. From this, Asian countries showed higher efficiency and European countries showed higher LPI scores. These results might be derived from this difference in port-city development patterns. Additionally, the main cause of inefficiency in Europe and Japan might be attributed to high fleet capacity of control. Consequently, this study can provide valuable implications for coastal countries to set more efficient directions for maritime logistics investment and policy.

The purpose of this paper is to review a variety of challenges facing the Human Performance Technology (HPT) in supporting knowledge workers' performance, and to explore possible HPT models for knowledge workers. The first section of this paper investigates the core attributes and major models of HPT as a foundation. While HPT has a lot of strengths in terms of systemic, systematic, methodologically eclectic, evidence based, and results oriented approaches, some pitfalls - which could be detected if these principles were mindlessly applied to problem areas - are explored. The second section presents some considerations such as analysis, intervention design, and leadership that HP technologists need to take in order to make HPT a better field of practice for knowledge workers. The author also suggests a tentative diagnostic model and a process model for knowledge workers, core principles of which are based on systems thinking, in particular Senge's the fifth discipline and Checkland's soft systems methodology. The importance of formative evaluations to improve these models is noted as a conclusion.

본 연구는 브랜드가 시장 트렌드를 파악하고 이를 활용하여 경쟁 우위를 확보하고 성장하는 방법을 탐구하고 있다. 이를 위해 세 가지 핵심 요소를 고려하였다. 첫째, 시장의 트렌드 정보를 파악하기 위해 검색 포털 사이트의 검색어 랭킹 정보를 활용하였다. 둘째, 브랜드 상품과 트렌드의 연관성을 분석하기 위해 상품 타이틀과 리뷰 데이터를 활용하였다. 셋째, 각 상품의 브랜드 중요성을 추정하기 위해 리뷰 수, 리뷰 길이, 표현의 다양성 등을 고려했다. 연구 결과, 브랜드는 시장 트렌드를 더욱 정확하게 이해하고 파악함으로써 경쟁 우위를 확보하고 성장할 수 있는 기회를 제공함을 확인하였다. 더불어, 이를 통해 브랜드는 소비자의 요구를 더욱 효과적으로 충족시키고 고객 경험을 개선하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

In order to effectively relieve the traffic pressure of the city, ensure the smooth flow of freight and promote the development of the logistics industry, the selection of appropriate port logistics location is the basis of giving full play to the port logistics function. In order to better realize the selection of port logistics, this paper adopts the entropy weight method to set up a multi-dimensional evaluation index, and constructs the evaluation model of port logistics location. Then through the actual case, from the environmental dimension and economic competition dimension to make choices and analysis. The results show that port d has the largest logistics competitiveness and the highest relative proximity among the three indicators of hinterland city economic activity, hinterland economic structure, and port operation capacity of different port logistics locations, which has absolute advantages. It is hoped that the research results can provide a reference for the multi-dimensional selection of port logistics site selections.

The study is based on the technology-organization-environment (TOE) model which, attempted to determine the factors that are going to influence ICT adoption. The proposed research model evaluates the interplay among technological context (IT infrastructure, system security, and user capacity), organizational context (top management commitment, and innovations strategies), environmental context (quick response to the external agencies, interactive network infrastructure, and competitive pressure) and ICT adoption (productivity growth, organizational change, and competitiveness). Data were collected from 243 senior executives of full member firms of the Bangladesh Garments and Manufacturers Association (BGMEA) of examining the relationships among the constructs in the proposed framework utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM). The analysis of TOE factors revealed that environmental, organizational, and technological factors have a significant impact on the successful implementation of ICT tools. The study also discusses implications for management practitioners.
