Expectations for wireless communication technology are rising as a base technology that promotes innovation in various industries in line with the paradigm of digital transformation in the 21st century beyond the stage of being used only for communication service itself. In this study, in order to compare 6G technological competitiveness between Korea and leading countries, technological competitiveness was confirmed through PFS, CPP, and network analysis based on GaN Integrated Circuit patent data. Korea's 6G technological competitiveness was 0.62 in PFS and 3.93 in CPP, which were 32.8% and 19.9%, respectively, compared to leading countries. In addition, as a result of network analysis, the collaboration rate in the 6G field was 7.2%, and the collaboration ecosystem was very insufficient in most countries. In contrast, it was confirmed that Korea, unlike leading countries, has established a small-scale collaboration ecosystem linked by industry and academia. Thus, it is necessary to establish a strategy for 6G communication technology at the national level so that communication technology can be advanced based on a relatively well-established collaborative ecosystem.
Variables such as R&D capability and organizational orientation have been dealt with in previous studies on factors that affect the success of new products/services in technology-based companies, but there have been few studies examining the causal relationship of these variables from an integrated perspective. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the organizational orientation and R&D capability of technology-based SMEs, consisting of customer orientation, innovation orientation, and competitor orientation, on the success of new products/services. In addition, we want to analyze the influence of a company's product/service competitiveness on the success of new products/services. The survey was commissioned by a research company, and 382 valid copies were analyzed by conducting a survey to corporate members in the technical job-related industry. The questionnaire analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 and Smart PLS 3.0.Customer orientation, innovation orientation, and competitor orientation were found to have a positive effect on product/service competitiveness. It can be said that market changes in product/service competitiveness, technology improvement capability, target market analysis, etc. meet the objectives of most research projects, such as the success of new products/services. In addition, product/service competitiveness was found to have a positive effect on the success of new products/services. It can be seen that R&D capability has a positive effect on the success of new products/services and plays an important role in business expansion of SMEs. From this analysis result, it was found that the organizational orientation and R&D capability of a company have a positive effect on the success of new products/services. Based on the results of this study, implications were presented on the factors that a company must have for the success of new products/services.
Planning strategies to achieve higher competitiveness of ports are becoming increasingly important in business environment. Therefore, strategic competitive position and efficiency analysis needs to be performed to increase ports' effectiveness and competitiveness. This matches with one of targets of new concept e-Navigation to increase the agility and efficiency of ports. The purpose of this study was to apply Boston Consulting Group matrix to analyze competitive positioning of major ports in Korea and China in term of several main cargo types and then use a combination of Data Envelopment Analysis and Principal Component Analysis model to calculate efficiencies. Results show that, at the moment, Chinese ports are still on the top with high position and efficiency score for the representative-Shanghai port. However, result also points out that except container type, Korean ports have chance to compete in other cargo types. Moreover, Gwangyang port is regarded as efficient. It has better position time. It is believed that Gwangyang port together with Busan port can compete with Chinese port in the near future.

The measurement of business performance is important to secure the competitiveness of construction companies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze what is needed to increase the competitiveness of small & medium construction companies. In order to analyze efficiently, this study reconfirms the effectiveness of Key Performance Indicators(KPI) of construction companies selected from previous studies. The empirical analysis to find differences of KPI between small & medium construction companies and big construction companies is performed using the 4,286 construction company samples extracted by 'KIS-Value Data Base'. The results of the empirical analysis show that there are significant differences in characteristics of KPI between small & medium construction companies and big construction companies. Particularly, small & medium construction companies are relatively insufficient to invest for the purpose of preparation for future and long-term growth. Additionally, empirical tests reconfirm that most of the KPIs from previous survey studies are suitable as a performance indicators. The contribution of this study is to analyze empirically small & medium construction company's strong & weak points and the effectiveness of KPIs derived from previous studies.

Recent rapid changes such as construction market reduction, lowest bidding system of construction cost, five days per week system, and post-construction sale system are inevitably accelerating the competitiveness between construction companies. Those rapid changes of construction environment require construction companies, which are main participants of construction industry, to adapt to the changes and more to lead new construction environment. However, there are many construction uncertainties which could delay construction completion. Without the proper identification of construction uncertainties, structured strategy establishment and management of construction schedule, the competitive advantages of construction duration could not be made. Thus this paper limited the research boundary to construction duration competitiveness instead of general strategy establishment. Recognizing the importance of proper calculation of construction duration, requirements of construction duration reduction and limited researches related to construction schedule strategy, we established the 25 strategies for construction duration competitivenss by internal and external construction environment analysis and SWOT analysis, and then elicited the first considerations to accomplish the strategies through concensus of all the staffs by questionnaire, brainstroming and face-to-face interviews.

Technology competitiveness evaluates environmental and engineered technology and process at both the scientific and market levels. There are increasing concerns to measure the effects of the technology variables on the potential market feasibility levels. However, there are very little empirical analysis studies on that issue. This study investigates the impacts of technology variables on the levels of market feasibility based on 230 data obtained from Korea Technology Transfer Center. As various statistical analysis, the canonical discriminant model, logit discriminant model and classification model were used and their results were compared. This study results showed that major technology variables had very significant relations to discriminate high and low categories of market feasibility. Finally, this study will help building management strategies to level up the potential market performance and also help financial Institutions to decide funds needed for small-sized technology firms.
This study analyzes factors affecting the competitiveness of broadband over power line communication (BPLC) and predicts demand for the service, based on quantitative information about consumer preferences drawn from a survey of Korean consumers. Findings from the estimation suggest that, although consumers value some beneficial features of BPLC, to be competitive the speed and stability of its data transmission needs to be improved. Moreover, on the basis of a market simulation, we expect BPLC to occupy only a small portion of Korea's Internet access market in the future, a finding we expect would hold true for other developed countries whose Internet access markets are already mature.
Recently, software distribution method, along with advent of era of Web 2.0, is rapidly evolving from ASP(Application Service Provider) method into SaaS(Soft as a Service) method due to development in concepts and technologies including SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) Web Service, On Demand and Component. Determining factor in market competitiveness of newly emerging SaaS business model will be analyzed by focusing on Group-Wares, POS(Point of Sale) System, CRM(Customer Relationship Management) and ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), which are the most representative SaaS business models in Korea. It is anticipated that the outcome of analysis of determining factors for market competitiveness for each of the main SaaS Business Models acquired through questionnaire survey can be utilized as important benchmarking material in setting the direction of cultivating SaaS market by the government as well as new entries into SaaS market.
