Effects of putrescine on senescence in detached leaves of Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris L.) in the light were investigated. The putrescine as a potent antisenescence substane markedly inhibited chlorophyll and protein loss at the 10mM concentraton in the detached leaves during the dark incubation. In the light, however, putrescine showed the opposite effects to dark incubation. The chlorphyll loss by putrescine in the light was stopped with darktransfer, and inhibited competitively by a divalent cation Ca2+. In the light, putrescine reduced the protease activity. Putrescine, in the light, increased H2O2 content and reduced the activities of enzymes -superoxide dismutase (EC 1.15.1.1), peroxidase (EC 1.11.1.7), catalase (EC 1.11.1.6-involved in inhibiting the accumulation of free radicals. These results suggest that the effects of puterscine on chlorophyll and protein loss in detached leaves of Chinese cabbage in the light are related to the cationic nature of putrescine and the accumulation of free radicals.

Different species with similar niches can coexist in the same community if disturbances prevent compeptitive exclusion of competitively inferior species. Disturbances which open up gaps are common in all kind of community. Even in virgin forests without any artificial disturbance, there exist a significant proportion of trees of early successional shade-in-tolerant species in addition to the dominant late successional shade-tolerant species. In forest ecosystems, most canopy tree species including shade-tolerant ones require one or more gaps in their life-time to reach the canopy. Because of these frequent disturbances, forests can be considered of dynamic mosaics of patches of different ages and with different species composition which are in certain stages of recovery from disturbances. Disturbances temporarily increase the availability of resources such as light, water and soil nutrient for other in dividuals through the death of one or more canopy trees.

As internet populations are growing very fast, online computer game has been extensively propagated in the internet community. Currently online Baduk game haws id attention as one of the most popular games in Korea. Therefore, the game industry has developed a variety of Baduk games and internet services providers and portal sites have competitively provided Baduk game services. Considering this trend, this paper attempts to develop an evaluation model for online Baduk games, which can serve as a guideline for selecting the appropriate game by game users. In addition, this evaluation has been applied to the 2 best known Baduk games and compared each other based on the model factors. Finally, this paper suggest some practical guidelines for game developers in order to increase user acceptance.

High titer rabbit polyclonal antibodies (pAbs) which show a specificity for saikosaponin a (SSA), have been generated. The immunogen used was a conjugate of SSA linked through its glucose moiety to bovine serum albumin by periodate oxidation method. The antibody titers obtained from two rabbits, innoculated with the immunogen, reached a plateau after the fourth and third booster injection, respectively. The specificity of the pAbs was determined by hapten inhibition assays using several SSA-like structures. SSA competitively inhibited the binding of the rabbit anti-SSA pAbs to SSA-ovalbumin on solid phase, a coated antigen on the well. The antibodies showed high specificity to SSA, exhibiting no significant cross-reactivity with any of SSA analogues tested.

Korean railroad has been accomplished the structural change through separating of facilities and operation of railroad in 2004. The existent government organization was transformed into the public, this caused problem of renovation of railroad management. Korean railroad has been the integrated management of passenger and freight. As putting the passenger service as a priority, freight transportation have fallen behind and not attained good sales results. Restructuring in Korean railroad would bring about considerable improvement, but still not come out of the deficit operation. To find a way out of this situation, there needs to make renovation and extend new enterprise. However, to operate the railway freight transportation more competitively, make up situation that can possess competitive power fundamentally. From this perspective, the purpose of this study is to analyze the necessity for separated operation of passenger and freight railway transportation. By doing this can expect to obtain the competition power of railway freight transportation, and is a help to build up the independent management system of railway freight transportation and secure competitive high position about other transportation systems especially road.

Especially, Passenger car manufacturers has been conducting buzz, squeak and rattle(BSR) noise test as a method of the noise evaluation tests to reduce an unpleasant sound from interior parts on the driving the car. The purpose of this paper is to confirm the change of the noise generated in the product after the reliability evaluation. Here by the BSR test procedure used the test regulation of 'G' company.

This paper suggest a evaluation method for detecting position of noise source from measured noise signals of vehicle seats during random excitation BSR test. Hereby the BSR test procedure used the test regulation of 'G' company. The detection of noise source positions used the Sound image equipment. Through suggested the test method on this paper, an accurate analysis of noise source occurred in the BSR test will be possible.
