  • The resource-based theory addresses a new way of competition and the sustainability of advantages from competition, Moreover, Information Technology(IT) has interacted with other resources and gained the strategic importance. The central research task is to identify three relationships; (1) between organizational resources surrounding IT and IT performances, (2) between organizational resources surrounding IT and sustainable competitive advantages(SCA), and (3) between IT performances and the SCA. Results of the LISREL analysis show that firms must integrate IT into the other related resources of the organization and the management should consider comprehensive change management efforts rather than mere investments in technology to gain sustainable competitive advantages.

  • We analyze and study competition in differentiated product market using public data source. Understanding competitive market structure is critical for firms to assess how their products compete against other firms in a given market. In this paper, we estimate consumer demand, extend clout and vulnerability framework, and study competition among multi-product manufacturers in differentiated product market. For our empirical analysis, we adopt choice-based aggregate demand model and estimate consumer demand while accounting for unobserved product characteristics. Once we estimate consumer demand, we compute full price elasticity matrix and investigate intra- and inter- manufacturer substitutions among consumers. This research offers a framework for marketers to analyze and understand market structures, leading them to informed decisions.

  • The lowest price guarantee policy or price-matching guarantee is the pricing policy that promises to compensate more than the price difference if a consumer finds a lower price for the identical model he or she purchased and submits a certain proof. Most of Korean large discount stores emphasize their competitive price level by adopting the lowest price guarantee policy so that the entire Korean distribution industry is deeply influenced by the policy. The article is the study regarding the effects of the lowest price guarantee policy in Korean unique industry environments. The study investigated the effects of the policy on consumers' preferences of stores. By using the conjoint measurement model, it identified the main effects and interaction effects between the policy and other independent variables. The results showed the significant effects of the policy on consumers' preference of stores and identified the interaction effects between the distance from the residence and the policy, and between overall store price level and the policy.

  • As imported fashion products are increasing in the marketplace, country of origin information becomes a powerful product cue that can be used to gain competitive advantages of fashion brands. This study assessed the impact of multiple country of o.igin information(origin of brand and origin of production) on attitude toward the brand and product evaluation. Especially, the influence product price level was also examined. Jean was used as product stimuli and students were respondents for the empirical study. Results of this study affirmed the importance of country of brand origin and price information in brand attitude formation and product evaluation. Country of brand origin information and interaction effects of brand origin-price were significant for brand attitude formation. Country of brand origin and price information had significant influence on evaluation of Jean products.

  • Cleaning robot that is selling in present city has various cleaning algorithm. However, error of most products happens on progress direction by small obstacle that do not properly and miss cleaning thereby happens. There is robot that correct own position, but is hard to use in general home because economical strain is very big because is high price product very. In this paper measures angular velocity of robot using deviation sensor, and do to correct error using turning angular velocity and vertical angular velocity. Because detailed cleaning such as high pice style is available without addition of expensive hardware in middle and low price style cleaning product thereby, can possess price competitive power.

  • Electric power restructuring offers a major change to the vertically integrated utility monopoly. Deregulation has had a great impact on the electric power industry in various countries. Bidding competition is one of the main transaction approaches after deregulation. The energy trading levels between market participants is largely dependent on the short-term price forecasts. This paper presents the short-term System Marginal Price (SMP) forecasting implementation using backpropagation Neural Network in competitive electricity market. Demand and SMP that supplied from Korea Power Exchange (KPX) are used by a input data and then predict SMP. It needs to analysis the input data for accurate prediction.

  • In recent decades, many countries have introduced competition in the electricity industry. Now, unit commitment becomes not a problem to be solved by a monopoly company but the one to be tackled by each generation company(GENCO). Its aim has been altered from the global cost minimization to the each GENCO's profit maximization. In this paper, the author proposes the scheme of unit commitment of a GENCO to maximize profit considering the uncertainty of market clearing price. The type of the assumed market is a uniform price market. A genetic algorithm is used for the maximization of the profit.

  • HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) Transformer has the several useful characteristics in the viewpoints of technical and economical. Especially, an HTS transformer replaces the copper wire coils in a conventional transformer with lower loss HTS wire In addition, inexpensive, environmentally benign liquid nitrogen replaces the conventional oil as the electrical insulation (dielectric) and provides the necessary cooling for the HTS transformer Therefore, the Life-cycle cost of an HTS transformer is much more attractive than conventional because it is more energy efficient, lighter in weight, smaller in size, and environmentally compliant. HTS transformer can be the best way to replace with conventional transformer in the future. In this paper, we investigate the expected price of HTS transformer to have a merit in viewpoint of economic aspect. First, life-cycle cost of conventional transformer is calculated and based on this, the expected price of HTS transformer is evaluated, which HTS transformer is competitive against conventional transformer.

The transfer of ownership of these delivery promises takes place in a particular trading pit, for each commodity, on the floor of the Exchange. Trades are officially made by qualified members of the Exchange who act as brokers for their customers. For his services, the broker is paid a nominal round- turn commission fee by the customer. Although each commodity contract carefully describes the particular standards that product must meet in order to be a acceptable for delivery, actually fewer than three percent of the contracts traded are consummated by delivery. For the most part, contract obligations ions art offset, and thereby liquids. before the termination of the delivery month. The trader liquidates his position in the market after analyzing price trends, his timing, and his calculated price objectives. (omitted)

  • PAV is considered to improve quality of life and standards of living, improvement of which was caused by automobile hundred years ago. Comparative economic efficiency of PAVs is measured to compare each PAV. Specification and sales price of the PAVs are open to the public. BlackFly, Transition and Aeromobil 3.0 have competitive power in flying range, purchasing cost, and operational cost. Lift & cruise configuration and vectored thrust configuration PAVs are designed by many companies nowadays, and BlackFly which can be considered to be lift & cruise configuration is one of the most efficient PAVs. High battery price does not help multi-copter shaped PAVs to have economic efficiency. Aerodynamic wing, eVTOL, and low sale price are needed for PAVs to ride a wave of public interest as a new personal mobility. Under the conditions, the PAV can fly at downtown and can be purchased by people at large. Popularization of PAV could follow in the 100 years old footsteps of automobile.
