섬유의류업체의 기술협력과 기술혁신이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Technological Collaboration and Innovation on Company Performance of Textile and Clothing Companies)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the level of technological collaboration and technological innovation, and to analyze the effects of these variables on performance of textile and clothing companies. The data were collected from participants of Preview in Daegu Exhibition and Seoul Fashion Sourcing Fair as well as a panel on the Research Institute. The results showed that the numbers of technological collaboration and technological innovation were relatively low but the level of technological collaboration was slightly high. The regression analyses indicated that technological collaboration had a significant effect but technological innovation didn't have a significant effect on company performance. However, these two variables had significant effects on innovation performance.

  • Six sigma innovation activities have been deployed in the engineering, management, and R&D sectors in an aerospace production company. For the success of total innovation, the company realized that it is necessary to involve the field workers in the six sigma innovation activities. In this paper small group activities in the aerospace production company is introduced. The implementation system, project evaluation and compensation system, and future directions are presented.

  • This study has focused on the introduction each stages of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation for an agricultural company's knowledge management & innovation. We have analyzed the company's background and found some conflicts and problems caused by the stockholders while implementing ERP systems. This case study has noted well how an agricultural company including between a provider and a stakeholder could be able to settle the ERP system with an necessary customizing work into the organization. Finally, ROSEPIA's implemented ERP systems have increased not only productivity but also archived the factuality and data reliability. This study give us an implication of how an export oriented and agricultural company, ROSEPIA made its company innovated and run its organizations through knowledge management using its ERP.

개방형 혁신(Open Innovation)의 이론과 현상에 관한 탐색연구 (A preliminary study on the theory and phenomena of Korea Open Innovation)

  • Can we use the open innovation paradigm in Korean economy? Can Korea move from imitative national innovation system to Creative national innovation system without open innovation paradigm? We are looking for preliminary answers about these questions. In this paper, first of all, we review the theoretical factors of open innovation originated from professor Chesbrough, try to find out the limit of the theory, and propose the possibility of extending of open innovation from company to industrial sector, region and cluster, and national innovation system. We also review the user innovation models from Von Hippel and open business models. Second, we review the Korea open innovation cases according to the categories like as company, sector, cluster and regional innovation system, and national innovation system. Third, we prepose the theoretical and realistic implications, and next research agenda about Korea open innovation.

중소기업 종업원의 지각된 기업특성과 개인특성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 기업 혁신성의 매개 역할을 중심으로 (The Effect of Company Characteristics and Individual Characteristics Perceived by Employees of Small Businesses on Job Satisfaction : Focusing on Intermediary Role of Company Innovation)

  • 본 연구에서는 중소기업 종업원의 지각된 기업특성과 개인특성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 특히, 기존의 연구에서 확장하여 기업혁신성이라는 기업관련 변수를 추가하여 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구는 중소기업의 CEO들이 조직구성원의 직무만족을 유발시키고 변화하는 글로벌 사회의 환경에 초점을 맞추어 관리방안들을 모색할 수 있도록 하여 조직의 활성화를 도모하고, 경영의 개선이나 제도적 발전을 위한 제언이 될 것이다. 본 연구는 중소기업 종업원들을 대상으로 약 2개월간 실시하였으며, 실증적 분석의 결과 첫째, 중소기업 종업원의 지각된 기업특성과 개인특성이 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 이중 직무스트레스가 직무만족에 영향을 미친다는 가설은 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 중소기업 종업원의 지각된 기업특성과 개인특성이 기업혁신성에 미치는 영향관계 중 조직유연성과 CEO의 리더십, 회사의 의사소통과 부서간, 개인간 협력정도, 지각된 개인의 특성에서의 개인의 도전성은 기업혁신성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 직무스트레스는 영향을 미친다는 가설은 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 기업혁신성은 직무만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 네째, 기업혁신성이 종업원의 지각된 기업특성 및 개인특성과 직무만족 사이에서의 매개효과 검증에서는 조직유연성과 소통과 협력은 부분매개를, CEO의 리더십은 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났고, 개인의 도전성과는 완전매개를, 직무스트레스는 매개효과가 검증되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 독립변수인 중소기업 종업원의 지각된 기업특성과 개인특성은 직무만족과의 직접적인 관계일 뿐아니라, 기업의 혁신성에 따라 매개되는 간접효과도 가진다는 것을 시사한다. 그러므로 중소기업 종업원들의 직무만족을 높이기 위해서는 기업의 혁신활동의 성과도 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히, 리더십과 개인의 도전성은 기업의 혁신성을 통해 완전 매개되므로 중소기업 종업원의 직무만족을 높이기 위해서는 조직의 혁신성 노력이 동시에 추진되어야 효과가 있다고 할 수 있겠다.

선도기업과 후발기업에 따른 개방형 혁신활동이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact Factors of Open Innovation Performance According to the First-mover Companies and the Follower Companies)

  • There have been many studies that open innovation activities have positive effects on firm performance. However, the previous studies have shown conflicting results, depending on the characteristics of companies or the timing of the product launch. This study empirically compares open innovation performance of first-mover companies and follower companies. The analyses are performed on the samples of the Korean Innovation Survey 2010 companies that explored external information and performed R&D cooperation. The results indicate that open innovation activities can have different effects depending on a company's status in the market. For the first-mover companies, the intensity of utilizing external information has greater impact on the firm's performance than the diversity of it. By contrast, for the follower companies, the diversity of utilizing external information has greater impact on the firm's performance than the intensity of it. In terms of R&D cooperation, the external cooperation is found not to have significant effects on a first-mover company's performance. However, external R&D cooperation of a follower company is showing positive impact on the firm's performance. The implication of the study is to analyze the firm's Open-Innovation performance by comparing first-mover companies with follower companies. Therefore, companies need to execute the Open-Innovation strategy by considering firm characteristics or the timing of the product launch.

온·오프라인 서비스 기업의 비즈니스모델 인식 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Perception Difference on Business Model - Focused on On-Offline Service Companies)

  • Google was established an online service company. Lately, Google has widened to the business area until manufacturing industry. Apple was established a computer manufacturing company. So, new business models should develop and should be innovation in order to adapt to industry environments. New business model's development and innovation are attracted on strategy to expect the high performance at companies. In particular, it is important to companies facing a variety of problems. Therefore, the purposes of this study are as follows : First, there understand the perception difference on online service company, offline service company, manufacturing company. Second, there provide for the use of strategy on online service company, offline service company, manufacturing company. The results of this study are customer factor, strategy factor, revenue factor have been statistically significant differences using ANOVA analysis in industry field, and customer factor has been statistically significant difference using t-test in business field. Then, it will expect to increase business competition through the business model.

ICT산업의 식스시그마 추진성과 연구 (A Study on the Performances of Driving Six Sigma in a ICT Industry)

  • The case company has driven the six sigma innovation programme company wide for the last seven years without any stop in spite of the CEO change. There was neither any benchmark nor the sufficient number of internal experts during the initial stage of driving six sigma. However, the company raised a lot of innovation experts such as MBB, BB and GB, thereby successfully changed the way of employees' doing work and reaped an enormous amount of either visible or invisible performances as a result of implementing the six sigma innovation programme. This paper deals with both main activities undertaken at each stage of the innovation life cycle of six sigma and their performances in a ICT (Information Communication Technology) industry. The performances are described from the four aspects of a balanced score card (BSC) and finally some strategic implications suggested.

The Effect of Strategic Innovation on Company Performance: A Case Study of the Industrial Estate of Thailand

  • The purpose of this study to examine the effect of strategic innovation on organization development, organizational effectiveness, and firm performance of companies in the Industrial Estate of Thailand. The sample of this study was 360 companies and data was collected by distributing questionnaires through mail and Google form. Out of the 360 questionnaires, 192 responses were received and usable. The study period was November 2020 to February 2021. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test hypotheses regarding the influence of strategic innovation on organization development, organizational effectiveness, and firm performance. The results of this study show that strategic innovation has a positive direct effect on organization development, organizational effectiveness, and firm performance. Organizational development has no significant relationship with organizational effectiveness and firm performance, and organizational effectiveness has no significant relationship with firm performance. Strategic innovation has a strong direct positive effect on the company's performance. It indicated that strategic innovation is essential for organizations to drive business growth, generate value for the company and its customers, and create a competitive advantage. This type of innovation is essential for organizations to adapt to the speed of technology change. In addition, theoretical contributions, managerial contributions, limitations, and future research recommendations were presented in this study, including conclusions were shown.

기업의 환경과 개방형 혁신을 통한 성과 창출에 대한 연구 (A Study on Performance Creation through Open Innovation with Corporate Environments)

  • 본 연구는 기업의 특성이 개방형 혁신을 통해 성과를 창출하는 관계를 실증적으로 규명하는 것이다. 기업이 처한 다양한 상황을 극복하기 위한 전략적 수단으로 개방형 혁신을 수용하고 이를 기업의 성과를 창출하는 과정으로 이해하고자 하였다. 기업이 처한 다양한 상황에서는 환경적 요인과 내부적 요인의 극복을 거쳐야 한다. 환경적 요인으로는 시장의 역동성과 기술의 역동성은 개방형 혁신을 수용하게 하고 이는 결국 성과를 창출하는 전략적 도구가 되기도 한다. 또한, 기업의 내부의 환경으로는 기업의 특성을 고려하여 조직의 역량을 강화해야 한다. 기업 내부적인 특성인 기업가적 지향성, 조직문화 개방성, 권한위임 및 R&D 역량을 강화하기 위하여 개방형 혁신을 통해 기업의 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 이렇게 기업에게 주어진 환경을 극복하는데 개방형 혁신은 결국 기업에게 다양한 성과를 창출하는 중요한 매개가 되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 위해 국내 기업 176개를 대상으로 구조화된 설문을 통해 실시하였다. 본 연구는 기업이 처한 환경을 극복하고 성과를 창출하기 위해서는 개방형 혁신을 전략적으로 수용하고 이를 경영 전략적 차원의 철학으로 이해함을 시사하고 있다.
