In this study this author made research and analysis on physical status and characteristics of community parks in Ik-san provinces and also depending on its potential resources such parks were classified into constructed parks and unconstructed parks and status of use of such parks and level of satisfaction were studied. Through this paper this author strived to provide basic data required for forming green track of land for the parks. Required time for visiting community parks either constructed or unconstructed type was within 40 minutes or less. However constructed parks appeared to be more convenient for access in comparison with natural unconstructed parks. Mostly they were used by residents in neighboring community and also residents in the area around it were found as using it frequently. At the time of using community parks either constructed or unconstructed types means of access were mostly by walking or by riding bicycles. Thus considering large number of users of such parks are from neighboring community it appeared that parks with its simplicity and convenience in terms of distance and with rich nature were preferred by users rather than large scale parks at distance. In terms of time frame of use and motivation of visit constructed parks were used mainly for exercise and relaxation in the morning at parks and its facilities whereas un constructed parks were mostly used in the afternoon for for walking and chatting and rest under with time to spare at shadows of its trees. Time spent at parks were composed mostly of rest and walking more frequently than exercise and leisure activity thus it was different from motivation for visiting parks. As for evaluation of use of parks natural elements, unique environment, trees and lawns featured highly in unconstructed parks in comparison with constructed parks. Thus it seemed visitors are more conscious of forest and landscape in a form of unchanged nature. Thus for community parks first consideration should be heightening accessibility in view of primary concern for convenience by users rather than facilities or environmental conditions.

This study sought to explore the relationships between health behavior, oral health behavior and community periodontal index away the adult in korea. The date of 'The fifth korean national health and nutrition examination survey 2010' was analyzed for this study. The questionnaire was measured regarding health behavior, oral health behavior, community periodontal index and socio-economic characteristics. For statistical analysis, the SPSS 19.0 for Windows was used. We determined frequencies, percentage and determining statistical significance using multiple regression analysis. General characteristics showed differences in community periodontal index associated with residence, gender, age, income level, education, division of basic livelihood security. Health behavior showed differences in community periodontal index associated with smoking, AUDIT. Oral health behaviors showed differences in community periodontal index associated with dental care treatment, utilization of dental hospitals, dental check up, tooth brushing, use oral health supplies. In conclusion, in order to reduce community periodontal index of the adult, the importance and needs of periodontal status should be emphasized. periodontal status related education and program for the adult should be operated.

이 연구는 지역정보서비스의 용어에 대한 근본적인 접근을 통해 서비스에 대한 이해를 돕고, 지역정보서비스의 현 실상을 조사한 결과를 토대로 서비스의 의미에 부합되게 제공되는지를 충분히 검토한 뒤, 의미에 적합한 지역정보서비스 제공 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 삼았다. 이러한 목적을 위해 이 연구에서는 (1) 지역정보서비스 관련 용어의 추이를 살펴보면서 지역정보서비스가 도서관서비스에서 가지는 의미를 분명하게 제시하고, (2) 국내 공공도서관의 지역정보서비스의 제공 실태를 조사한 뒤, (3) 지역정보서비스가 서비스 의미에 부합하게 제공되기 위해 우리 학계와 도서관계가 고민해야 할 과제와 전략에 대해서 논의하였다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 문헌연구와 사례조사를 실시하였고, 사례조사는 국내 12개 지역대표도서관의 홈페이지를 대상으로 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the longitudinal relationship between Korean youth's social withdrawal, depression and community sense mediated by achievement values. For this purpose, we analyzed three years of the longitudinal panel data (2011-2013) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS). Data were collected from 2,351 first year middle school students using the latent growth model using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0. The main analysis results were as follows. First, social withdrawal and depression decreased and community sense increased as time passed. These results supported the linear change model. Second, the initial status of social withdrawal and depression had effects on the initial status and change rates of community sense. Achievement values, the partial mediator, had a positive influence on initial community sense but had a negative influence on change rates of community sense. We discussed how to improve Korean youth's community sense based on these results.

Using data from the 2001 National Long-Term Care Survey database, this study analyzed gender differences in factors affecting caregiver burdens of spouse caregivers in Korea. Multiple regression was used to estimate factors influencing caregiver burdens of caregiving wives and caregiving husbands respectively. The results showed that there was a significant variability in predictors of caregiver burdens of spouses who take care of the impaired elderly. ADL functional status of care recipients and social support were significant for both the caregiving wives model and caregiving husbands model in influencing caregiving burdens. It was noticeable to report that a caregiver's self-rated health status, monthly caregiving expenses, a care recipient's self-rated health status were unique predictors for the caregiving wives model. These findings suggest that it is vital for planners and providers to take gender differences in spousal caregiving into account when designing and formulating community-based long-term care service programs.

Purpose: This study is conducted to examine the relationship among self management, HbA1c, and perceived health status of type II diabetes patients in community health department. Methods: Data were collected from 93 type II diabetes patients who are registered at five community health center using comprehensive survey, modified self care behavior, blood glucose and HbA1c were assessed by nurses. The data was analyzed by the SPSS (14.0) computer program, and it included descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: There was significant relationship between perceived health status and HbA1c (r=-.252, p=.015). There was significant relationship between self management and HbA1c (r=-.279, p=.007). Conclusion: In order to control blood glucose in the type II diabetes patients, it is necessary to develop supportive self management programs by considering perceived health status.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper was to identify the correlations among academic stress and adjustment at university life in university students. Methods: A total of 489 subjects aged 17 and 36 were selected through convenient sampling. Data were collected with a self reported questionnaire from September 2 to November 30, 2015. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN. Results: There were statistical differences between academic stress and adjustment at university life. Academic stress were significantly different according to gender, grade, economic status, health status major department of study, drinking and smoking. Adjustment at university life were significantly different according to gender, economic status, health status. 25.4% of variance in adjustment at university life were explained by academic stress, major department of study, health status. Conclusion: The finding of this study may be useful in understanding the academic stress expression of university students and developing more specific programs on adjustment at university life.
