This study analyzed the effect of the farm's sense of community on participation satisfaction by participating in the contract cultivation of onions. To this end, we investigated the participation satisfaction with the sense of community's emotional connection, fulfillment of need, membership, and influence. According to the analysis of the sense of community of onion farmers, the definition of need, membership, and influenced participation satisfaction and were statistically significant. It was also shown to affect sense of community in the order of membership, Influence, fulfillment of need, and emotional connection. Therefore, it is necessary to form a continuous relationship with the leader and Nonghyup, to lead to improved farm income, induce pride as a member of participating farmers, and form a positive perception among onion farmers.

This research was conducted to analyse how a community building around empowerment changes the resident's cognition depending on level of their participation. 'Livable hope community building project' in Gonju-Shi, Chungcheongnam-Do was chosen as an example case. As a result of analyzing influence of residents' participation on their cognition changes, the residents with higher level of participation had bigger changes in cognition in terms of individual and relational aspects. In detail, the residents with one time of participation in livable hope community building activity showed a change in cognition in a way that they realized the reality of the rural area and felt the necessity of community building to overcome this. The residents with more than 3 times of participation had cognitional change on current status of village where they are living in. Lastly, the greatest cognitional changes in all perspectives occurred among the residents with more than 5 times of participation. They had a firm cognition that the participation and cooperation of the residents are important to make community building successful. Conclusively, community building around empowerment influences recovery of rural community as it changes cognition of residents and acts as a mediator for resident unity. Therefore, it is expected will bring new changes to rural area, help recover rural community, and affect improvement of rural competitiveness.

Second For promoting community, the Cyber-intermediary must playa major role in electronic community and drive forward continuous publicity strategy in the public Shipping e-marketplace.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore the experiences of participation in community leisure programs among older adults. Methods: Data were collected using face-to-face interviews with nine older adults participated in community leisure programs and analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. Results: Seven themes emerged from the data: 1) A deep regret not learned, 2) unboring life, 3) living together, 4) having a happy life, 5) gaining recognition from family members, 6) cherishing their own lives, and 7) living for others. Conclusion: Findings indicate that there is a need for health professionals to understand meanings of participation in community leisure programs before planning community senior programs. More studies are needed to develop community leisure programs for older adults' health promotion in community health centers.

This study is aims to voluntary participation in rural development projects, voluntary participation by analyzing the individual competence factors, how the what and how much influence affect the continued involvement and participation as a concept of strengthening community capacity the plan for it to present. The results of survey, through factor analysis and reliability analysis for extracting the components of individual competence areas and life satisfaction, self acting capacity, was extracted with recognized competence, was the factor analysis and reliability analysis for ongoing involvement and participation. Personal competence was a multiple regression analysis, the participation of three elements as independent variables as dependent variables to evaluate the impact of continuing involvement, and the resulting Regional and life satisfaction (${\beta}=0.301$) have the greatest impact It showed. In addition, regional analysis and life satisfaction (${\beta}=0.247$) on the impact of enlargement on the individual capabilities showed the highest participation. The elements of local life satisfaction and personal competencies exerts the greatest influence on the continued involvement and participation in the study was obtained. It based on the results in rural development for the voluntary participation and participation of the population should be considered with a plan to enhance the regional and life satisfaction, "the software business, which is carried out in rural areas developed for them by local residents the measures to increase life satisfaction will be provided.

The physical therapist's participation in community based rehabilitation(CBR) is necessary, in a variety of ways, to ensure the disabled quality service. Although CBR needs the Physical Therapist's help, participation is limited due to unstable CBR policy, and because there is a lack of financial support, skilled Physical Therapist's are usually not hired. Physical Therapist's themselves do not seem to completely understand this. The experts active participation is needed for effective rehabilitation service. Therefore, the trained Physical Therspist's participation is absoutely necessary is CBR policy if it is even to provide completely effective service.

This study aims to analyse the relationship between the sense of community and resident online participation. To solve a variety of social problems in localities, both resident participation and the sense of community have been getting more important. Online voting is a project that is being implemented by the city of Seoul to expand the participation of residents. We surveyed residents living in the apartment complex in Seoul that was participating in with the pilot program for online voting. The empirical analysis shows the sense of community was, indeed, positively related to resident online participation. In particular, shared emotional connection, a component of the sense of community, was the most important factor for the resident online participation.

This study was to explore the effect of local community on participation of local festival. In order to carry out the empirical study, 320 survey questionnaires were collected in Cheonan. AMOS 4.0 and SPSS Win 12.0 statistics packages were utilized for analysis of SEM. The study results were as follows: first, analysis on the relationship between identity and participation of local festival(interest of festival participation, extent of local festival, intention of local festival) Showed that identity effected every factor of participation of local festival, second, dependence effected interest of festival participation and intention of local festival, third, social friendship can't effected every factor of participation of local festival.

This study aims to examine the determinants affecting rural women's participation in community organizations in rural Korea. The data was collected through interviews with 958 rural women among 1,870 respondents who have lived in Up and Myen as an administrative unit of a rural community, and analyzed by the SPSS/PC Win V.10 program. The statistical method utilized for this study was the hierarchy multiple regression model. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, rural women with a high income, a larger farm, or a fruit farm are more likely to participate in agricultural cooperatives. Second, rural women with a high income, a larger farm, who are engaged in full time forming, and grow fruit and special crops, are more likely to participate in cooperative firms. Third, rural women who are educated and have a larger farm, a fruit farm, and high community attachment are more likely to participate in learning organizations. Fourth, rural women who were educated and have small households are more likely to participate in religious groups. Fifth, rural women with a small farm are more likely to participate in civic organizations. Sixth, there was no significance between all of these variables and participation in political parties.

This study compared the levels of North Dakota and South Korean conventional and sustainable farmers' participation in community organizations. The North Dakota data were collected in 1990 from a sample of 568 farm and ranch operators. and the South Korean data were collected in late 1999 and early 2000 from a sample of 147 farmers through interviews and surveys. The data were analyzed using the SPSS ANOV A computer program. The sustainable farmers in both countries were more likely to participate in community organizations than the conventional farmers. Nevertheless, through this comparative study it was found that some differences between two countries exist due to their different cultural backgrounds. Whereas Americans were oriented more to morality and ethics influenced by church, farmers in Korean were more influenced by civil movements. Whereas the reduced tillage farmers in Americans were more likely to be sustainable farmers, the mixed farmers in Korea were more likely to belong to conventional farmers. While individuals in community organizations focused on the economics of agriculture, sustainable farming and farmers' social participation were social matters, which were used to develop sustainable community.
