Implementation of Global Position Location System using X.400 Protocol (X.400을 이용한 글로벌 위치확인 시스템 구현)

  • The proposed system in this paper is designed to provide users with a means of global location information using Orbcomm satellite communication and X.400 protocol. The system's two-way data transmission capabilities allow users to track mobile or fixed objects anywhere in the world via Internet. This study utilizes the X.400 protocol, and the SIP(Serial Interface Protocol) and self defined control protocol to implement data communication link in this paper. Data processor board connected to SC(Subscriber Communicator) is also designed and implemented to interface with GPS receiver. The experimental results of the proposed global position location system is evaluated through real-time experiments, and we have confirmed it works well according to the protocol designed in this paper.

  • HCI(Human Computer Interaction) enables the interaction between people and computers by using a human-familiar interface called as Modality. Recently, to provide an optimal interface according to various devices and service environment, an advanced HCI method using multiple modalities is intensively studied. However, the multimodal interface has difficulties that modalities have different data formats and are hard to be cooperated efficiently. To solve this problem, a multimodal communicator is introduced, which is based on EMMA(Extensible Multimodal Annotation Markup language) and MMI(Multimodal Interaction Framework) of W3C(World Wide Web Consortium) standards. This standard based framework consisting of modality component, interaction manager, and presentation component makes multiple modalities interoperable and provides a wide expansion capability for other modalities. Experimental results show that the multimodal communicator is facilitated by using multiple modalities of eye tracking and gesture recognition for a map browsing scenario.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze dress meanings painted by elementary school girl. As in language, the dress is the symbol and form of non-verval communicator its wearer by means of the mentalistic semantics. Also it is to analyze meanings of dress by applying the semantics of Geoffrey Leech. The followings are the findings of the analysis 1. The conceptual are the findings of the analysis 2. The social meaning is indicating the feminine image. 3. The offective meaning is indicating the aesthetic value.

  • Web보안 기능 중에서 가장 기본적이면서 중요한 보안 기능은 데이터의 암호 및 복호이다. 본 과제는 인터넷 web browser(Netscape Communicator 또는 Navigator)기능에 보안 모듈을 이용한 자료 및 문서 암호 기능을 통해서 안심하고 web page를 사용할 수 있는 시스템을 제공한다. 보안 모듈을 사용하지 않는 일반적인 web데이터 전송환경에는 SSL 프로토콜을 이용하여 web데이터 전송을 수행한다. 서버가 보안 모듈을 가지고 있는 경우는 web을 통해서 주고받는 데이터에 대해서 보안 모듈 내에 존재하는 암호 및 복호하는 알고리즘을 사용한다. 이런 방식을 사용할 경우에 일반적으로 많이 사용하는 DES알고리즘의 사용으로 쉽게 구현이 가능하다. 그러나 이러한 보안 모듈이 상호 연동해서 동작되기 때문에 이 모듈이 없이는 웹 상에 원하는 자료에의 접근이 불가능하다. 또한 이 방식은 기존의 방식이 갖는 보안 기능의 공개성 문제점을 극복하면서 안전한 보안 웹 환경을 제공해준다.

  • 본 논문은 인터넷web browser(Netscape communicator 또는 Netscape Navigator)기능에 문서보안 기능 등을 통해서 안심하고를 사용할 수 있는 클라이언트 환경을 제공한다. 보안 모듈을 사용하여 보안 데이터 전송을 수행한다. 본 보안 데이터 전송을 수행한다. 본 보안 모듈의 특징은 소프트웨어적으로 보안 환경을 사용하든 하드웨어적으로 보안 환경을 사용하든 독점적인 환경에서 웹 보안 기능을 제공할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 일반적으로 보안이 절실히 요구되는 환경은 인트라넷이 구축된 경우이다. 이런 인트라넷 환경에서는 본 논문에서 제안하는 보안 기능을 사용할 경우 독점적인 보안 기능을 제공할 수 있다. 그리고 일반적인 인터넷 환경에서 보안을 만족하기 위하여 서버, 클라이언트 양쪽에서 모두 보안 모듈을 가져야 한다. 본 논문은 클라이언트 측에서 필요한 보안 모듈의 설계 및 구현 내용에 대해서 언급한다.

Network Analysis on Communication of Welfare Policy Using Twitter Data

  • This main purpose of the study is to identify social network of communicators sharing information on Bokjiro for publicizing welfare policy. This study employs NodeXL pro to understand networks and their role in the social network. The data for social network analysis was collected from Twitter for a week. The result of the analysis shows that the social network of communicators on Bokjiro does not have many nodes. It also has an independent network with high possibility of information distortion. Little communicators have controlling power in information flow in one way of communication. According to the result, it is not effective for marketing strategy of welfare policy in providing online information through Bokjiro. The study suggests that the government should use the transactional approach to marketing based on agent-oriented activity focusing on the exchange relationship between information providers and demanders in an age of networked intelligence.

  • 정보화 환경에 적합한 인재의 Personality 유형 분류 및 주요 특징 분석을 통하여 이에 대한 모델을 제시하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 기존 심리검사 및 정보화 성격 관련 연구의 한계점을 제시하고 조직 내 각 계층의 업무 수행에 필요한 성격 및 주요 성공 역할을 도출하여 이를 정보화 환경에 맞게 정리함으로써 정보화 성격 유형을 분류하고자 한다. 이러한 성격 유형들은 세부적으로 IT 창조자, Communicator, IT 리더, 정보 공유자, IT 감독자, 비전 제시자, 동기 부여자 등 7가지 수평적 유형으로 분류되며, 이러한 유형들의 분석을 위하여 성격 검사 연구인 Big 5 Model의 분석 방법 및 설문 문항을 적용하고자 한다. 이러한 정보화 성격 분류 및 각 유형에 대한 특성 제시는 개인의 정보화 성향 및 잠재성격을 파악하고 이를 개인적, 조직적으로 더욱 발전시킬 수 있는 방향을 제시할 수 있다.

  • Underwater acoustic communications have made considerable advances in the past decade. The purpose of this paper is to achieve the underwater communication by ultrasonic sensors and to investigate conditions of good underwater acoustic communicators. As a result of this experiments, the ultrasonic sensors, MA40E7R/S, made by Nicera can be used as ultrasonic transducers for underwater communication using AM(Amplitude Modulation) signal and Transmission Loss is 17.328[dB] at 65[cm]. To make a good underwater communicator, proper diameter of disk PZT transduers is the one of most important factors, because radiation of acoustic wave depends on proper diameter of transduers and the transmission loss strongly depends on the spreading loss.

  • It is predicted the mass retirement of the post-war generation and the lack of young people according to reduces the recruitment. Therefore, industry fields are concerned by the low level of occupational safety and health from issued problem in a variety of industries; the charge of expanding business range/multi-functional, black box of technology, difficulty of systematic training, relative decrease in the skill of workers, loss of know-how in the field of information followed restricted site information. In response to these problems, it is necessary to establish the long-termly and actively based on for the adoption of a safety and health management techniques utilizing IT, which is digital assistant(tablet PC, PDA, etc.), RFID/USN/ICT, database systems, and etc. In this study, we developed and evaluated a worker's safety sensing apparatus using smart phone. The apparatus may be useful to prevent accidents in the construction industry as well as confined space work.

Who are Dominant Communicators on Twitter? A Study of Korean Twitter Users

  • This study explores how Twitter users perceive their socio-communication attitudes as well as those who users follow. From the theoretical perspective of communication styles in interpersonal communication, this study focuses on the positions and roles of users and their partners in Twitter conversations by conducting a survey and a content analysis. The results demonstrate that the respondents tended to perceive their communication attitudes to be more passive on Twitter than in the real world. In addition, they tended to perceive that their most trusted followees were more likely to show dominant communication attitudes than they did. These results indicate that ordinary users are more likely to play a role as listeners than as speakers on Twitter while entrusting several trusted users with the role of a dominant communicator and that their perception of their own and their followees' communication styles tends to influence their actual behavior on Twitter.
