Many higher fungi were collected at Mt.Jiri, Mt.Pukhan, Mt.Moak from June 2002 to October 2002.They were identified. According to the result Clitocybe phyllophila, Omphalina wyniae, Mycena diosma, Cortinarius haasii and Cortinarius allutus were newly to Korea. They were designed Korean common names by author.
This paper is suitable for household plant factory by design and using both energy-saving LED and solar technology. Conventional household plant factory only depending on natural sunlight is sensitive for the change of external environment. Another a big problem of conventional common household plant factory is large power consumption. Recently interest in wellbeing food such as chemical-free is increased abruptly. To solve these two problems, this paper describes hybrid type of household plant. In particular, reducing the power photosynthesis photon flux density (PPFD) is kept uniform to enhance the growth of the plant. Ambient light sensor is adopted for the control of proper combination of sunlight and LED to keep PPFD constant.
In this study, we attempted to provide Korean names to the arctic vascular plants observed around the Dasan Korean Arctic Station and Longyearbyen in Spitsbergen Island, in the Arctic region. To obtain recognizable results, plants were named according to the following naming rules. (1) When Korean names already existed, those names were used. (2) When there was no Korean name for a plant species, a scientific name for the plant was translated into a Korean name. (3) If the meaning of the scientific name was unclear, an English common name was translated into Korean name. (4) If the scientific names had meaning to the Arctic inhabitation, the Korean names included the word 'Buk-geuk'. (5) If the distribution of the plant was limited to the Arctic area or the original species lived in the polar region, the Korean name included the word 'Buk-geuk'. (6) If the plant had no Korean generic name, a particular suffix '~a-jae-bi' was added to the closely related genus name of the plant species, or a new Korean genus name was used by translating a common English name. (7) If the same generic name had two or more Korean names, a generic name that better reflected the characteristics of the plant was selected. In this paper, we reported Korean names for 46 plants species belonging to 15 families and 28 genera. Eight plants had an existing Korean name and the other species were given new Korean names based on the criteria outlined above. We also made new Korean generic names for three genera, Braya, Micranthes and Cassiope.
Genera and number of protozoa were investigated in the conventional activated sludge pilot plant used for the treatment of municipal sewage and pre-treated night soil-containing sewage. In both case, the predominant protozoa was ciliates and among them Vorticella was the most common. In the pilot plant where pre-treated night soil was mixed with municipal sewage, genera of free-swimming ciliates, flagellates and amoeba was higher than in those withour night soil. Correlation analysis on the quality of effluent and protozoa indicates that municipal sewage has positive correlation with protozoa. However in the pilot plan 샐 sewage contatinin pre-treated night coil soil more samples show negative correlation. Followed equations were derived by the regression analysis of BOD in both the pilot plants. In case of pilot plant A of municipal sewage, the analysis B of munici-pal and pre-treated night soil-containing sewage, the analysis of BOD was $6.731$\times$10_{-2}$$\times$Bodo+0.306(Adjusted $R^2$=0.864). At low temperature, number of protozoa was decreased to 35% and among therm, Aspidisca was the most common genus. Therefore, protozoa can be used as indicator of quality of the effluent in sewage treatment plants.

Tap lines are small branch piping generally less than two inches in diameter. They typically branch off of header piping having a much larger diameter. An example of a common tap line is a 3/4 inch size high point vent or low point drain. Most tap lines have at least one valve near the header tap connection to provide isolation. Two valves are often required for double isolation. A light water reactor(LWR) nuclear power plant will have several hundred tap lines. These lines come in many sizes and shapes and serve numerous functions. A single process piping valve may have three different tap lines associated with it (figure 1). Table 1 delineates the different categories of tap lines. Vibration failures of tap lines are a common occurrence in all industrial plants including nuclear and fossil power plants. These types of failures constitute a significant percentage of all piping related failures. An unscheduled plant shutdown or outage resulting from the failure of a tap line decreases plant reliability and may have a detrimental effect on plant safety. Most tap line vibration failures can be avoided through the use of appropriate routing and support techniques. Standardized designs can be developed for use in a myriad of applications. These designs will not only minimize failures but will also reduce the necessary analysis and installation efforts.
Motivated by learning from experience and exploiting existing knowledge in civil nuclear operations, we have developed in-house generic Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) models for pressurized and boiling water reactors. The models are computationally light, handy, transparent, user-friendly, and easily adaptable to account for major plant-specific differences. They cover the common internal initiating events, frontline and support systems reliability and dependencies, human-factors, common-cause failures, and account for new factors typically overlooked in many PSAs. For quantification, the models use generic US reliability data, precursor analysis reports, the ETHZ Curated Nuclear Events Database, and experts' opinions. Moreover, uncertainties in the most influential basic events are addressed. The generated results show good agreement with assessments available in the literature with detailed PSAs. We envision the models as an unbiased framework to measure nuclear operational risk with the same "ruler", and hence support inter-plant risk comparisons that are usually not possible due to differences in plant-specific PSA assumptions and scopes. The models can be used for initial risk screening, order-of-magnitude precursor analysis, and other research/pedagogic applications especially when no plant-specific PSAs are available. Finally, we are using the generic models for large-scale precursor analysis that will generate big picture trends, lessons, and insights.

Two different extraction methods were used to evaluate the medical value of common rue, Ruta graveolens L. (RGL). The results of our 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl and 2,2'-azino-bis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid assays indicated that the antioxidant activity of RGL essential oil extract obtained through steam distillation was very low, whereas ethanol (EtOH) extracts of RGL showed higher antioxidant activity. RGL essential oil was extracted by steam distillation and characterized by GC/MS analysis. Furthermore, EtOH extracts of RGL were obtained under reflux and analyzed by HPLC/PDA. The GC/MS results indicated that the ketone compounds 2-undecanol acetate, nonyl cyclopropanecarboxylate, and 2-nonanone accounted for more than 70% of the composition of RGL essential oil. The HPLC/PDA analyses indicated that the RGL extracts were rich in phenolic compounds such as protocatechuic acid, rutin, psoralen, xanthotoxin, and bergapten, among which rutin was the most abundant. Collectively, our results demonstrated that RGL contains high levels of phenolic compounds and could thus be commercialized as a valuable plant-derived antioxidant.
