ISO performance data based commissioning technique for GSHP system (ISO 성능데이터를 이용한 지열히트펌프 시스템의 성능 확인 커미셔닝 기술)

  • GSHP(Ground Source Heat Pump) has been extensively disseminated due to the recent increasing demand over new and renewable energy. However, the system reliability has been key issues and barriers to insure a better system performance as designed originally in ISO (international standard organization) standard. This paper introduces a systematic method to verify its intended design target so called as ISO performance data based commissioning technology for a water to air GSHP system. The commissioning technology starts from are to the international standard ISO performance data of a GSHP model and to compare its installed operation data and to calibrate and tune to the target optimum operation parameters. Results indicated that cooling capacity could be raised up to 76.6% from 46.6% from this proposed commissioning technology.

  • Building Energy commissioning is a process in which verifying and making the document during entire lifetime including planning, design, construction, test run of equipment, and maintenance to minimize the operational problems of building energy efficiency. The general commissioning is replacing the equipment or reconstructing the skin to achieve the performance for the design. This process is expensive and has the disadvantage of taking a long payback period by one operation. In this paper, we studied the monitoring-based commissioning (MBCx) to increase the energy efficiency of buildings through analyzing energy use data. MBCx is modeling a building energy, comparing the real energy use with it, detecting the cause of falling the efficiency, and running the optimal operation regularly.

  • The KSTAR device succeeded in first plasma generation on $13^{th}$ June of 2008 through comprehensive system test and commissioning. Among various kinds of the key factors that decisively affected the project, success in the construction and assembly of the major tokamak structure was most important one. Every engineering aspects of each structure were finally confirmed in the integrated commissioning period, and there were no severe troubles and failures prevented the KSTAR device from operating during the commissioning and the first plasma experiments. As a result, all of the experiences and technologies achieved through the KSTAR construction process are expected to be important fundamentals for future construction projects of superconducting fusion devices. This paper summarizes key engineering features of the major structures and of the machine assembly.

  • The 10t/d pyrolysis demonstration plant for waste tire recycling have been constructed and operated for commissioning of the plant. The plant have the tube reactor with chain conveyer attached disk. The reactor temperature is 500$\sim$600deg.C and pressure is -80$\sim$-100mmHg. Non-condensable gas is used as fuel for pyrolysis heat source.

  • We performed commissioning of redundant digital excitation system for gas turbine generator. One of its issues is first power supply test to gird line when it was compared with the other commissioning. If blackout will be happened, a few of start power plants must supply power to grid line. And then generator must increase voltage and real power slowly for line charge. The trial product was installed and successfully operated at a 100MW power plant after commissioning.

  • This paper presents the self-commissioning for surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor. The proposed strategy executes three tests with a vector controlled inverter drive system. To do this, synchronous d-q axes currents are appropriately controlled for each test. From the three tests, armature resistance, armature inductance, equivalent iron loss resistance, and emf coefficient are identified automatically. The validity of the proposed strategy is confirmed by experimental results.

  • In this study, the energy commissioning was conducted for high-rise buildings(manual control). First of all, we conducted monitoring the energy use of buildings (electricity, heating, etc.), a commissioning improvement (automatic control) was proposed for each system. In addition, energy simulation was conducted to predict the effectiveness of the reform measures. As a result, terminal units control the greatest energy saving effect, If we applied all the improvements, we could save about 20% less than traditional energy usage, and it turned out that $CO_2$ emissions were reduced by about 19% when converted to $CO_2$.

  • In this study, we present the commissioning and validation results of a dedicated scanning nozzle. The dedicated scanning nozzle is installed in one of the two gantry treatment rooms at Samsung Proton Therapy Center. Following a successful completion of the acceptance test, the commissioning process including the beam data measurement for treatment planning system has been conducted. Extended measurements have been conducted as a validation of the clinical performance of the nozzle and various quality assurance protocols have been prepared.

  • Rail network authority have to do the safety ensuring activities including the maintenance of railway facility, integrated performance verification between the facilities and related rolling stock and safety inspections, etc. When constructing the new lines or revising the conventional lines, full system commissioning should be done before the revenue service with railway operator. To develop the optimal full system commissioning model, the status of domestic and foreign railway facility and railway accidents are analysed and the problems of the safety management are derived. As one of countermeasures for the problems, the procedures and criteria for the full system commissioning are developed.

  • In this paper, an algorithm of the automatic commissioning for vector controlled induction motor using controller characteristics is proposed. The automation of commissioning sequence is carried out using Walsh function analysis. In the proposed method, the distortion of the controller output waveform is easily detected and can be automatically tuned by using Walsh function analysis. This tuning algorithm has the advantage such as less sensitivity to the variation of other parameters and high sensitivity to parameter error. Hence, the easy tuning of high performance drive system of the induction motor is possible. Some experiments are carried out to prove the validity of the proposed automatic commissioning algorithm.
