In this paper, the structural design for composite blade was performed and full scale structural test was conducted to verify the structural design and integrity of composite blade. Firstly, FE analysis was performed using commercial software ABAQUS under conditions of rated wind speed and Case H in IEC 61400-2. Lay-up sequence and ply thickness were designed based on FE results. And to verify the structural design, full scale structural test was conducted according to IEC 61400-2 under identical loading conditions of FE analysis. Finally, the force-deflection and local strain behavior of composite blade were evaluated.

An important factor in assessing the beneficial qualities of a city's intersection spaces can be measured by examining a pedestrian's approach to the space and calculating the openness observed in the overall design of adjacent buildings. These spaces are influential, since they offer opportunities for pedestrians to spend time and take in views of the surrounding environment. The intersection of horizontal components in cities such as Bundang-si and Suwon-si can provide a sense of openness or greenness. We believe that there is a need for careful analysis and study of such components, as defined by designations in Bucheon-si research, and that this study can give important insights for future urban planning and design. When assessing the openness of an intersection, a key variable is the reported rate of perforation, which factors into the greenness of a space. Because of the large and varied scope of this research, this rate is highly variable, as there were many differences between each site. In descending order of average ratios: Seongnam-si, 41.79% > Bucheon-si, 35.40% > Suwon-si, 30.42%. The data compared for each city was divided into study sites selected at downtown locations as well as in urban outskirts. Openness and greenness were analyzed at each downtown and outskirt site. A summary of the results shows a decreased openness average of -2.63% in downtown locations versus outskirt. The greenness ratios in urban outskirt areas were 4.86% greater than downtown locations on average. As it relates to the results of this analysis of openness, the comprehensive property zoning for each city was determined as a ratio of residential to commercial designations. This study analyzes view points within urban cross intersections in the downtown landscape. It presents basic data and research directions to promote a better environment with regard to openness, and consists of an analysis of the relationship between a variety of physical components.

In this paper, we implemented a real-time 2.4 GHz direction finding system using a time-modulated array(TMA) and an Universal Software Radio Peripheral(USRP). Our system consists of two commercial monopole antennas, self-designed switch board, and an USRP, and it is controlled using LabVIEW program in real-time. From measured results, it is verified that our system can exactly detect the incident angle within 4 degree in the range of 30 degree. Our direction finding system has advantages of a simple hardware architecture than conventional one with multiple receivers, and a simple algorithm only by using a main lobe and a first side-lobe of switching frequency.
The purpose of this study is to find out distributional principles of the shop-houses in residential district through physical composition of residential area. Through the research that are based on literature and field survey, it analysed the relation between physical composition of residential area and the shop-houses of selected four sites under similar urban condition where land readjustment project were held. The consequences of this study are summarized as follows; 1) A road that is not penetrating the inside a residential area is seemed to have low occupancy of shops comparing to other roads with similar hierarchy. And the shops functions as convenience facilities. It can be inferred from the statement above that even a road with higher hierarchy is not easy to form commercial area if without penetrating the residential area. 2) According to the size and the arranged method of Inner blocks of residential area towards major roads, distribution of shop-houses appear to be different. In other words, when shop-houses are located along the roads, the proportion of shop was higher than when located perpendicular to the roads. 3) When the number of average lots are little and the size of block is small, usually, street ratio and the number of corners gets higher, which eventually increases the number of shop-houses.
Supplier relationship management (SRM) is an important contributor to a company's efficiency and credibility. Although several ways are used to provide SRM functionality, these are often not easily integrated with existing procurement systems. We designed and implemented a practical SRM system called BestChoice SRM and present its design and architecture. It has the core functionality of SRM with the simple adaptability of BestChoice which is a decision support system for evaluating suppliers with the aid of visualized analysis It allows seamless integration with existing systems and permits flexible strategy changes as market conditions shift. The key to this flexibility is template-based segmentation. Ease of integration was demonstrated through the installation of BestChoice SRM at a major Korean commercial e-procurement agency.
The primary objective of the current work is to predict speed performance of the medium patrol boat over $F_N=0.5$ employing experimental materials based on the CFD before model tests. In other words, the predicted brake powers according to ship speeds are assessed satisfying the main engine capacity. The subject ships are selected the two different stern hull forms. The flow computation are conducted considering free surface and dynamic trim using a commercial CFD code(STAR-CCM+). The resistances of the bare-hull are obtained from CFD. Wave patterns, pressures and limiting streamlines on the hull and velocity distribution in the propeller plane for the two hull forms are compared using CFD. The effective powers of the object ships are assessed based on CFD. Resistance increase according to the attached appendages and quasi-propulsive efficiency are employed the experimental datas. Speed performance prediction method concerning high speed vessels like a medium patrol boat is developed employing CFD and experimental data.

As a part of development of process planning system for mold die manufaturing, a software system is developed, which recognizes features and extracts parameters of the shape from design data produced by solid modeller. The recognized feature date is fed to process planning and operation planning system. Low level geometry and topology data from commercial CAD system is transformed to high level machining feature data which used to be done by using a dedicated design system. The recognition algorithm is applied to the design data with boundary representation produced by a core modeller ACIS which has object oriented open architecture and is expected to become a common core modeller of next generation CAD system. The algoritm of recognition has been formulated for 21 features on prismatic components, but the feature set can be expanded by adding rules for the additional features.

Finite Element Method(FEM) is the essential tools for analyzing structural and vibration problem. But common commercial program is high-priced and the usage is not easy. Hereby the authors developed FEM program by using Matlab, whose usage is very simple and whose performance is very high. For the convenience of use and calculating efficiency Component Mode Synthesis Method is adopted, which divides a structure by some sub-structures for easy handling, analyzes them by parts and analyzes the structure with encompassing Degrees of Freedom(DOF). And encompassed DOF could be restored to full DOF. To confirm the accuracy the program was applied to a flat plate, and the results were compared to experiment, and good agreements were achieved. The developed program is going to be opened to public.
This study aimed to present the possibilities that a variety of conversions can be made in terms of the spatial function through the situation analysis and in-depth case studies, focusing on the cases of the conversion of historic buildings. Literature analysis and case analysis technique were conducted as the research methods. For the literature analysis, the researcher selected 105 cases of conversion-type buildings by recombining and reanalyzing them to space functional changes; the SPSS PC+ 18.0 program was used as the analysis tool to conduct a frequency analysis and cross analysis. In-depth analysis was conducted to investigate the overview of the architecture, building history, spatial functional changes, space program, conservation value, and the conserved parts by selecting 9 cases in Korean and foreign countries that have been recently converted through literature analysis and the results of the study were as follows. 1) As a result of analyzing the changes in function, the highest percentage of the cases was conversion into the cultural function (63.8%). 2) There were cases for conversion into the commercial function, business function, accommodation function and educational function besides cultural function. 3) As a result of spatial program, the attempts to increase the utilization of the building generally by applying the complex space with more than two functions could be seen. 4) The buildings with historical and architectural value were conserved most of the outer wall and some portion of internal parts; the buildings with symbolic value were renovated largely, while preserving symbolic parts; and the buildings with practical value were renovated in a way that maintains the structural parts while changing the interior space to be suitable for their function.

Since 2000, the demand for multimedia content consumption has been continuously increasing. The research and standardization for the mobile broadcast service has been done to deliver multimedia contents to the huge number of users with the minimum cost. A few commercial services started after the related standards were released. We call this mobile broadcast service the 1st generation service. Now, many experts are researching and developing the technologies for 3Screens(TV, PC, and Mobile) Services that an user can enjoy multimedia contents at every place with the various networks and devices. To enable this service, two main technical areas exist. The first is a core network technology that can support the various access network and the second is a common application layer technology. To resolve these technical areas, we propose IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) based OMA BCAST(Open Mobile Alliance Mobile Broadcast Service Enabler Suite) as the technical solution for 3 Screen Services in the paper. In addition, we propose application layer multicast that is enable to implement IMS based OMA BCAST to the existing network with the minimum cost. Finally, we show how we can save the implementation cost of IMS based OMA BCAST with the simulation results.
