가스화복합발전에서 Syngas 연료를 사용하는 가스터빈의 성능예측 (A Performance prediction of Gas Turbine using syngas fuel in IGCC)

  • IGCC(Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) power plant are becoming more attractive because of fuel flexibility and low emission. In this study, performances are evaluated when the low caloric value syngas fuels producted in gasification process is used a gas turbine originally designed naturel gas fuel. Using GateCycle computational thermal analysis model, performances of GE 7FA gas turbine are predicted for using four types of syngas. Also, off design performance is presented for firing syngas fuel in the gas turbine.

  • Heat recovery steam generator(HRSG) is a principal component of the combined cycle power plant (CCPP) which utilizes the waste energy of the gas turbine exhaust gas. A design of the HRSG is a keypoint to achieve high cycle efficiency with competitive cost. This paper presents a brief review on the design of a HRSG which covers the basic design parameters and their effects on the performance and the investment cost. Finally the concept of the optimum design point is presented according to the selection of a pinch point temperature difference and a steam pressure as an illustrated case.

  • A combined cycle, 'HYBRID', is emerging as a new power generation technology that is particularly suitable for the distributed power generation system, with high energy efficiency and low pollutant emission. Currently micro gas turbines and fuel cells are attracting a lot of attention to meet the future needs in the distributed power generation market. This hybrid system may have every advantages of both systems because a gas turbine is synergistically combined with a fuel cell into a unique combined cycle. The hybrid system is believed to become a leading runner in the distributed power generation market. This paper introduces a current plan associated with the development of the hybrid system which consists of a micro gas turbine and a solid-oxide fuel cell(SOFC).

  • This study is a basic review of the basic characteristics of mortar as a result of the use of concrete as a fine aggregate for CGS(coal gasification slag) generated from the IGCC(integrated gasification combined cycle). The analysis shows that CGS and crushed sand + seal sand mix is the best combination of CGS combined with about 75 % of CGS based on the effects of promoting liquidity and strength. This is expected to be a positive factor in securing the strength and flexibility of concrete given the optimal mix of CGS, and may also contribute to the improvement of quality.

  • Combined (intra and extrauterine) pregnancy refers to impregnations of two different ova at intrauterine and extrauterine sites simultaneously or within a short time interval each other. It is a rare clinical entity and freqently missed in early diagnosis in most instances. Its incidence rate is about 1 in 30,000 pregnancies and the incidence was rised in cases of using ovulation induced agents. The diagnostic rate is less than 10% at early process of the disease. We experienced a case of intrauterine and left tubal pregnancy as combined pregnaney in ovulation cycle which had been induced by clomiphene citrate and now present it with brief review of related leteratures.

  • Recently, the technologies to utilize the cold energy of liquefied natural gas (LNG) have attracted significant attention. In this paper, thermodynamic performance analysis of combined cycles consisting of ammonia Rankine cycle (AWR) and organic Rankine cycle (ORC) with LNG Rankine cycle to recover low-grade heat source and the cold energy of LNG. The mathematical models are developed and the effects of the important system parameters such as turbine inlet pressure, ammonia mass fraction, working fluid on the system performance are systematically investigated. The results show that the thermal efficiency of AWR-LNG cycle is higher but the total power production of ORC-LNG cycle is higher.

저온 열원의 활용을 위한 칼리나/흡수냉동 복합사이클의 성능 해석 (Performance Analysis of a Combined Cycle of Kalina and Absorption Refrigeration for Recovery of Low-Temperature Heat Source)

  • Recently, the power and refrigeration cogeneration based on Kalina cycle has attracted much attention for more efficient utilization of low-grade energy. This study presents a thermodynamic performance analysis of a cogeneration cycle of power and absorption refrigeration based on Kalina cycle. The cycle combines Kalina cycle (KCS-11) and absorption cycles by adding a condenser and an evaporator between turbine and absorber. The effects of ammonia mass fraction and separation pressure were investigated on the system performance of the system. Results showed that the energy utilization of the system could be greatly improved compared to the basic Kalina cycle.

복합 사이클의 배기가스 열회수 시스템에 의한 선박용 디젤엔진의 연료 절약에 관한 이론적 연구 (Theoretical Study on Fuel Savings of Marine Diesel Engine by Exhaust-Gas Heat-Recovery System of Combined Cycle)

  • 선박의 주 추진용 디젤엔진으로부터 배출되는 배기가스의 열을 회수하는 폐열회수 발전시스템에 대하여, 상대적으로 고온에 상부의 3 변 사이클과 상대적으로 저온부에 하부의 유기 랭킨 사이클이 적용되는 복합 사이클에 대한 열역학적 특성을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 상부와 하부 사이클 사이에 경계온도의 증가에 따라, 총 파괴된 엑서지율(${\sum}\dot{E}_d$) 및 엑서지 손실율($\dot{E}_{out2}$)이 각각 감소되었기 때문에, 시스템의 에너지 및 엑서지 효율이 모두 최대화되었다. 그리고 상부의 체적 팽창비가 크게 감소되었다. 그 경우에 대하여, 부가적인 추진동력으로써 활용되는 폐열회수 발전시스템이 적용된 선박용 디젤엔진의 경우에, 추진 효율은 엔진부하 변동에 따라 기본 엔진에 대비하여 평균적으로 9.17 %가 향상되었다. 이에 대하여, 디젤엔진의 연료 소비율과 이산화탄소 배출률은 각각 평균 8.4 및 8.37 %가 저감되었다.

심혈관 연속 시스템 모델의 DEVS/CS혼합 모델링 (DEVS/CS ( Discrete Event Specification System/continuous System) Combined Modeling of Cardiovascular Continuous System Model)

  • Combined models, specified by two or more modeling formalisms, can represent a wide variety of complex systems. This paper describes a methodology for the development of combined models in two model types of discrete event and continuous process. The methodology is based on transformation of continuous state space into discrete one to homomorphically represent dynamics of continuous processes in discrete events. This paper proposes a formal structure which can combine model of the DES and the CS within a framework. The structure employs the DEVS formalism for the DES models and differential or polynomial equations for the CS models. To employ the proposed structure to specify a DEVS/CS combined model, a modeler needs to take the following steps. First, a modeler should identify events in the CS and transform the states of the CS into the DES. Second, a modular employs the formalism to specify the system as the DES. Finally, a moduler developes sub-models for the CS and continguos states of the DES and establishs one-to-one correspondence between the sub-models and such states. The proposed formal structre has been applied to develop a DEVS/CS combined model for the human cardiovascular system. For this, the cardiac cycle is partitioned into a set of phases based on events identified through observation. For each phase, a CS model has been developed and associated with the phase. To validate the DEVS/CS combined model developed, then simulate the model in the DEVSIM + + environment, which is a model simulation results with the results obtained from the CS model simulation using SPICE. The comparison shows that the DEVS/CS combined model adequately represents dynamics of the human heart system at each phase of cardiac cycle.

연소전 처리를 이용한 탄소포집이 가스터빈 복합화력 플랜트의 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Carbon Capture Using Pre-combustion Technology on the Performance of Gas Turbine Combined Cycle)

  • In this paper, performance of the gas turbine combined cycle(GTCC) using pre-combustion carbon capture technology was comparatively analysed. Steam reforming and autothermal reforming were used. In the latter, two different methods were adopted to supply oxygen for the reforming process. One is to extract air form gas turbine compressor (air blowing) and the other is to supply oxygen directly from air separation unit ($O_2$ blowing). To separate $CO_2$ from the reformed gas, the chemical absorption system using MEA solution was used. The net cycle efficiency of the system adopting $O_2$ blown autothermal reforming was higher than the other two systems. The system using air blown autothermal reforming exhibited the largest net cycle power output. In addition to the performance analysis, the influence of fuel reforming and carbon capture on the operating condition of the gas turbine and the necessity of turbine re-design were investigated.
