The objective of this study was to assess the quality characteristics of Sulggitteok prepared with different ratios of chestnut powder: 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. The moisture content of the chestnut Sulggi without added chestnut powder was 38.24% than that of any other chestnut powder added groups and gradually decreased from 33.34~26.27% based on the addition of chestnut powder. In terms of color, the lightness (L) decreased significantly but redness (a) and yellowness (b) significantly (p<0.001) increased with increasing contents of chestnut powder. The total polyphenol content and DPPH free radical scavenging activity increased as the amount of chestnut powder increased and decreased. Total phenol contents of phenol contents was higher in the 10% added group (347.50 mg GAE/100 g) and DPPH radical scavenging activity was significantly higher in the 5% added group ($69.35{\pm}2.02%$) and 10% added group ($74.33{\pm}2.29%$). Texture profile analysis showed that the hardness, adhesiveness, chewiness were higher than that of the control. The result of sensory evaluation test and the overall acceptability showed that the taste, color, flavor, chewiness, softness and overall acceptability were the highest in the 10% added group while the color and flavor showed no significant different group. Based on these results, it is suggested that chestnut Sulggi with up 10% added chestnut powder can be developed as products.

The principal objective of this study was to assess the effects of various concentrations of added Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Seemann var. Goma powder on the quality characteristics of sulgidduk. The color values, texture characteristics, and sensory characteristics of the different sulgidduk samples were then measured and compared. As the content of the Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Seemann var. Goma powder increased, the moisture was decreased. The lightness values and yellowness values were reduced with increases in the Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Seemann var. Goma powder. whereas the redness values were increased. On our the texture analysis the hardness and adhesiveness were highest in the 0% Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Seemann var. Goma powder samples and the springiness and cohesiveness values were highest in the samples to which 0.3% Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Seemann var. Goma powder was added. Finally the results of our sensory evaluation showed that the sulgidduk containing 0.3% Acanthopanax sessiliflorus Seemann var. Goma powder had the highest color, flavor, after taste and overall acceptabilitly scores.

This study provides a systematic investigation about objective personal image consulting, tool development and image-making research by analyzing the status of the Korean image-consulting industry and education. For the research, we carried out literature surveys of books on image consulting and previous research reports. In particular, we surveyed image consulting businesses that have internet web sites, and educational institutes. The results of the survey are as follows: First, domestic image consulting businesses in Korea are investigated about 93 private companies and 4 associations. They do the image making, color consulting, and education for individuals and business. Second, professional image consulting education is carried out not only in the 93 private companies, but also in the continuing and professional studies for adults of 10 universities. Furthermore, more then 90 universities have specific academic programs related to the image consulting such as facial management, beauty coordination, cosmetology, stylists, fashion events, broadcasting stylists, and so on. Third, a typical image consulting job is the personal shoppers who assists VIP customers in department stores. Professionals and politicians have personal fashion stylists for their image making. Today, the job has expanded to public fashion therapist. Fourth, the contents of an image consulting education have appeared in similar industries and educations. These contents include fashion styles, personal color analysis, make-up, facial expressions, gestures, perfumes, accessories, etc. This study is based on research on the current Korean image-consulting industry, and will enable follow-up details to be implemented. using the basis of this study for a strategic self-image formation system.

Electrochromic devices (ECDs) have been drawing great attention due to their high color contrast, low power consumption, and memory effect, and can be used in smart windows, automatic dimming mirrors, and information display devices. As with other electronic devices such as LEDs (light emitting diodes), solar cells, and transistors, the mechanical flexibility of ECDs is one of the most important issue for their potential applications. In this paper, we report on flexible ECDs (f-ECDs) fabricated using an all-in-one EC gel, which is a mixture of electrolyte and EC material. The f-ECDs are compared with rigid ECDs (r-ECDs) on ITO glass substrate in terms of color contrast, coloration efficiency, and switching speed. It is confirmed that the f-ECDs embedding all-in-one gel show strong blue absorption and have competitive EC performance. Repetitive bending tests show a degradation of electrochromic performance, which must be improved using an optimized device fabrication process.

Due to the development of online media platforms and the COVID-19 incident, the mass production and consumption of digital video content are rapidly increasing. In order to select digital video content, users grasp it in a short time through thumbnails and teaser videos, and select and watch digital video content that suits them. It is very inconvenient to check all digital video contents produced around the world one by one and manually edit teaser videos for users to choose from. In this paper, keyframes are extracted based on YCbCr color models to automatically generate teaser videos, and keyframes extracted through clustering are optimized. Finally, we present a method of producing a teaser video to help users check digital video content by connecting the finally extracted keyframes.

The morphological characteristics of the Korean Scopolia japonica Maxim., commonly known as 'Mi-chi-gwang-i-pul' in Korean, were re-evaluated in comparison with results from previous research, while the distribution map was formulated according to existing flora and voucher specimens. The result of the re-evaluation has shown that there are some distinctive discrepancies compared to the previous reports of some characteristics such as the color of the basal stem, numbers of lateral veins, apex shape of calyx and corolla including the color of corolla. The Korean Scopolia japonica Maxim is found throughout Korea except Jeju-do province. The intra-specific species such as S. parviflora (Dunn.) Nakai, S. lutescens Y.N. Lee and S. kwangdokensis Y.N. Lee were treated as synonyms of S. japonica Maxim. in this research.

Recently computers are transforming our classroom by means of initiating and expanding teaching and learning. Lloyd (1989) indicates that computers show great promise in a way augmenting the classroom instructional process under the guidance of the teacher. In this paper computer program for mineral identification (called CPMI) is introduced. This program is is to provide a short list of 26 minerals. These mineras are classified using some properties for mineral identification that is color, streak, hardness, specific gravity, luster, and crystal form. Mineral properties can be divided into two groups for operating this program: (1) properties with numeric values, that is hardness and specific gravity; (2) properties whith a single word, that is color, streak, luster, and crystal form.

The dyeing characteristics of acorn was investigated. The natural Fabrics-cotton, rayon and silk-were dyed repeatedly in the solution extracted from acorn, CuSO4, K2Cr2O7 and brine were used as mordants to improve color fastness. Anti-bacterial property was measured in the dyed and mordant treated fabrics. When the cotton and rayon fabrics were dyed and treated with CuSO4, their colors showed very clear. They also had good color fastness and excellent anti-bacterial property. The dyed silk fabrics had better dye absorption property than the cotton and rayon fabrics without mordant treatment. But the fabrics dyed without mordant treatment had low light fastness. The cotton, rayon and silk fabrics dyed and treated with brine were dark and unclear. An aftertreatment with CuSO4 and K2Cr2O7 made the dyed fabrics darter and more clear.

In addition to education, the effects of color on humans have been studied in various areas such as human emotions, behaviors, and relationships between bodies. This study is based on the assumption that the color expression of University students can be observed to understand the inner and inclinations of University students, and that color expression activities can be a means of psychological expression, self-expression, and emotional relief. This study is aimed to find how much the color mind expression program effects the psychological mind state of University students. As a result of the study, the color mind expression program influenced the expression of inner feelings and emotions of University students, and had a positive effect on color psychology and utilization. In addition, overall, the color mind expression program was effective in positive and psychological recovery of negative emotions, such as being able to honestly express the difficulties felt in the process of preparing for employment.
