크리에이티브 디렉터 교체에 따른 버버리 남성복 디자인 및 스타일 연구 (A Study on the Design and Style of Burberry Men's Wear through the Replacement of Creative Directors)

  • This study compares and analyzes the designs of Burberry creative directors, Christopher Bailey and Riccardo Tisci. For this purpose, 322 photographs (176 Christopher Bailey and 146 Riccardo Tisci) were collected and the data analysis criteria were classified into color, shape, material, decoration, item, and fashion style. With respect to the data analysis method, statistical analysis and content analysis were combined. First, the design characteristics of Christopher Bailey top and bottom combined bright tone, tone-in-tone color scheme, H-line, heterogeneous material combination, and smart casual appeared very frequently. Second, the design characteristics of Riccardo Tisci top and bottom combined were monotone, tone-on-tone color scheme, H-line, heterogeneous material combinations, and street culture. Third, the design differences between creative directors were significantly different in color, tone, color arrangement, pattern, material type, material combination, detail, top and bottom items, and fashion style. Burberry men's wear maintains Burberry's traditional design identity with achromatic colors, beige-based colors, and beige checks. Christopher Bailey's design direction is characterized by modernity in a casual mood that emphasizes practicality. The design direction of Riccardo Tisci is characterized by a wide gap between images in a semi-formal style that emphasizes Burberry's tradition and a free-spirited casual style.

디지털 이미지 색채분석을 이용한 욕실공간 색채배색에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Color Harmony Scheme of the Bathroom Based On Digital Color Image Processing)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the recent trend color of bathroom based on analysis result of digital color image processing, to analyze the emotional color of that, and to suggest the harmony color combination for the bathroom. It leads to the two final results. That is, the main color of bathroom image is recognized as three color classifications such as YR-Y, Y-GY, PB-P, 2) from the point of emotional aspect, the trend color of the bathroom can be classified into four image categories: 'modern', 'mild', 'elegant', 'natural'. Finally, under these categories, this paper propose 12 color harmony schema which can be applied to color in, especially bathroom Interior design.

대학생들이 전통공간의 색채로 인식하는 배색팔레트 조사 (A study on color palette as a traditional color by university students)

  • Living in the present, specially in this multi-cultural society, we have to look back our tradition in many aspects. And we try to find out our own identity. Color is very important element to decide what is traditional or not. And it‘s a prominent factor for design subject visually. With the color from traditional residence, we will figure out traditional color and it‘s combination which the people prefer today, so we can applicate and develop it in the present design. Using color palette which has extracted from traditional building and space, a survey has done of university students for finding out which they think of traditional color. The result showed that Y-R type and Y-R type in color palette was the most traditional things by the students. This study is meaningful in the way of clarifying that university students think what is the traditional color and color palette.

한국 근대 서양화에 표현된 한복의 배색에 관한 연구 (Coloration of Han-bok on Modern Korean Oil-Paintings)

  • The purpose of this study is to comprehend the color and the coloration of Han-bok on the oil-painting of modern Korea. Generally, the modern Korean art is from late 19th to early 1980s' for the lowest year. Through the introduction of oil painting and the painter's work which had been reflected painter's realism at these times, we might know that the phases of the times and we could see a Korean costume and color combination. In this study, Han-bok is divided to upper clothes, lower clothes and the other parts which was distinguished by the color. The color of Han-bok which is watched on the modern art oil-painting is mainly white. The primary color including red, yellow, blue and middle tone colors is in harmony. It means that the five colors of Yin-Yang Wu-hsing were preferred until the modern times. The coloration of Han-bok is classified to a one-colored arrangement, two-colored arrangement and three-colored arrangement. The one-colored arrangement by white and black is a peculiar coloration to the modern times. The two-colored arrangement is a traditional coloration of Han-bok. The color which is high value and chroma is arranged on jacket, Jeogori. A dimension rate that is related with the difference of value and chroma made a visual harmony. In many cases of the two-colored arrangement of neutral colors is not much different in Jeogori and Chima. So Han-bok which is two-colored arrangement of neutral colors is colored in a breast- tie, pigtail ribbon, cuff and waist band for getting visual focus. The represented three-colored arrangement is white Jeogori and navy blue Chima with red breast-tie. It is a perfect visual color combination. The color of Han-bok was inherited a traditional color and the combination of neutral color was balanced. It was a refinable coloration system according to a difference of value and chroma. It means that a color sensation and arrangement of Korean have been developed by our unique climate, nations and the culture which has been formed for a long times.

Tablet PC에서 Nearly White 배경색과 가독성의 관계 (The Relationship of Nearly White Background Colors and Readability of Tablet PC)

  • 본 연구에서는 VDT(Visual Display Terminals) 환경에서 배경색과 가독성의 상관관계를 알아보았다. 본 실험에 앞서 예비실험으로 색 온도가 다른 White 지각도를 알아보았으며, 실험 자극물은 태블릿 PC를 활용하였다. 실험 환경은 주광과 야외광이 함께 공존할 수 있는 창가에서 실험 자극물을 제시하였다. White 지각도의 인식과 선호 결과 중 단파장계열의 Nearly Whites 색 에서 백색에 대한 높은 선호도와 인식도를 보였다. 이러한 예비실험 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 동일한 실험 환경과 실험 기기를 가지고 빨간색, 초록색, 파란색, 노란색의 총 4가지 Nearly Whites와 한 가지 백색을 배경색으로 사용하여 배색 평가, 가독성, 피로도를 조사하였다. 또한, 글자는 검은색으로 제한하였다. 그 결과, 초록색의 Nearly White 배경색에서 가독성과 배색 평가가 높게 나타났으며, 가독 시 느끼는 피로도는 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 반대로 빨간색의 Nearly White 배경색에서는 가독성과 배색 평가가 가장 낮게 나타났으며, 가독 시 느끼는 피로도는 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해서 VDT 환경에서의 가독성을 향상시키며, 눈의 피로도를 낮출 수 있는 배경색을 제안해 보고자한다.

서울지역 아파트 외장색채 계획을 위한 색채팔레트 (The Color Palette for Planning Exterior Colors of the Apartment in Seoul Area)

  • 아파트의 의장색채는 도시의 이미지와 지역의 이미지에 미치는 영향이 상당히 크므로 체계적이고 종합적인 차원의 색채계획이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이미 지어진 아파트의 의장색채 실태를 파악하고 건설사의 이미지를 조사하여 바람직한 아파트 의장색채 배색을 제시하고자 하였다. 현재의 의장색채 조사대상으로는 서울시 아파트 중 한강변에 위치한 아파트의 현황 및 특성을 조사하였다. 또한 건설사의 이미지 조사를 위하여 아파트에 5년 이상 거주한 기혼 남녀를 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, S물산에 근무하는 사원 77명을 대상으로 5아파트의 지향 이미지를 조사하였다. 아파트 의장색채의 사용경향을 1996년 이전과 이후로 나누어 살펴 본 결과, 1996년 이후에는 전반적으로 자고 고채도의 색들이 사용되었으며, 배색면에서도 단색이나 유사색 보다는 다양한 유채색배색들이 사용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 R이나 RP계열의 사용이 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. S사의 이미지 조사결과, 일반 소비자들은 S사에 대하여 전문성은 다소 떨어지나 신뢰할 수 있으며, 젊고 산뜻하며, 신선한 이미지를 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사원들을 대상으로 한 조사에서도 깨끗하고 세련된 이미지를 지니고 있으면서도 편안하고 안락한 이미지를 지향하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 이와 같은 조사결과를 토대로 두 가지 방향의 색채팔레트를 제시하였는데, 첫 번째는 깨끗한 이미지를 중심으로 하여 파랑과 노랑의 배색을 제안하였으며, 두 번째는 편안하고 안락한 이미지를 중심으로 하여 초록과 오렌지의 배색을 제안하였다.

  • Most of previous visual attention system finds attention regions based on saliency map which is combined by multiple extracted features. The differences of these systems are in the methods of feature extraction and combination. This paper presents a new system which has an improvement in feature extraction method of color and motion, and in weight decision method of spatial and temporal features. Our system dynamically extracts one color which has the strongest response among two opponent colors, and detects the moving objects not moving pixels. As a combination method of spatial and temporal feature, the proposed system sets the weight dynamically by each features' relative activities. Comparative results show that our suggested feature extraction and integration method improved the detection rate of attention region.

낙엽조경수목의 꽃 , 열매 , 잎의 지속기간에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Period of Flower , Fruit , and Leaf Color of Deciduous Woody Landscape Plants in Korea)

  • The seasonal flower, leaf and fruit color characterlstics of deciduous woody landscape plants were investigated through the field survey in Suwon, Korea from January 1, 1992 toMarch 20, 1993.The results were as follows ;1. There were 12 cases in the combination of leaf spreading, anthesis, deblossom, fruit coloring,fruit falling, fall foliage coloring and leaf falling of deciduous woody landscape plants(163 spe-cies) investigated. And species of the leaf spreading, anthesis, deblossom, fall foliage coloringand leaf falling were 71(43.9%). And species of the leaf spreading, anthesis, deblossom,fruit coloring, fall foliage coloring, leaf falling and fruit falling were 40(24.5% ).2. The total continuing period of the flowering, fall foliage coloring and fruit coloring of decid-uous woody landscape plants(79 species) investigated varied from 2 months to more than 9months. And the species over 3 months below 4 months were 23(29.2%).3. There were 24 cases in the combination of color of flower, fall foliage and fruit of deciduouswoody landscape plants(79 species) investigated. And the species of the white flower, red fall fo-liage and red fruit were 16(20.3% ).

구도심가로변의 상업건축물 외부파사드 개선을 위한 옥외광고물의 색채현황 분석 및 이미지 평가 (An Analysis of Color Status and Image Evaluation of the Outdoor Advertisement for Improving the Outdoor Facade of Commercial Building Structure in Old Downtown Area)

  • This study is intended to formulate the issues through the status analysis and image evaluation for each street on the basis of colors for the outdoor advertisements for part of street side in the oldest downtown for its construction year. Analysing the business type of the street side, it displays the identity of the fashion business area and the color status shown on the outdoor advertisement did not consider the harmony on the other business type and building improvements that it displays chaotic street views in overall. Status of color for the outdoor advertisement compared and analyzed for each street-side to be analyzed with high color contrast with the building structure and outdoor advertisements than the Street B side where there are many businesses of fashion sundries and fashion clothes to form more complicated street scenery visually for the Street A side. The color combination principle of building structure and outdoor advertisement was shown to be the factor for the contrasting unity and diversity. In order not to stimulate this visual confusion, the colors of outdoor advertisement has to be applied on the basis of the color guideline based on the color combination principle of outdoor advertisement and building structure to have the aesthetic harmony overall. As a result of analysis using the KJ method, the present image of the old downtown area was shown with the adjective vocabularies of "complicated", "out-dated", "chaotic", "disorganized", "dirty", "suffocating", and "unilateral", and its image to strive for would be in a total of 6 adjective vocabularies of "well-arranged", "young", "dynamic", "sophisticated", "personable" and "neat", and it has presented the basic foundation of color guideline of outdoor advertisement fit for its image.
