The use of composite restorative materials is established due to continuing improvements in the materials and restorative techniques. Composite resins are widely used for the restoration of cervical lesions because of esthetics, good physical properties and working time. There are several types of cavity design for class V composite resin filling, but inappropriate cavity form may affect bonding failure, microleakage and fracture during mastication. Cavity preparations for composite materials should be as conservative as possible. The extent of the preparation is usually determined by the size, shape, and location of the defect. The design of the cavity preparation to receive a composite restoration may vary depending on several factors. In this study, 5 types of class V cavity were prepared on each maxillary central incisor. The types are; 1) V-shape, 2) round(U) shape, 3) box form, 4) box form with incisal bevel and 5) box form with incisal bevel and grooves for axial line angles. After restoration, in order to observe the concentration of stress at bonding surfaces of teeth and restorations, developing a 2-dimensional finite element model of labiopalatal section in tooth, surrounding bone, periodontal ligament and gingiva, based on the measurements by Wheeler, loading force from direction of 45 degrees from lingual side near the incisal edge was applied. This study analysed Von Mises stress with SuperSap finite element analysis program(Algor Interactive System, Inc.). The results were as follows : 1. Stress concentration was prevalent at tooth-resin bonding surface of cervical side on each model. 2. In model 2 without line angle, stress was distributed evenly. 3. Preparing bevel eliminated stress concentration much or less at line angle. 4. Model with round-shape distributed stress concentration more evenly than box-type model with sharp line angle, therefore decreased possibility of fracture. 5. Adding grooves to line angles had no effect of decreasing stress concentration to the area.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the differences between the level of satisfaction and concern regarding appearance according to gender, the importance of appearance in job interviews, and the influence appearance has on job-seeking stress and anxiety under the ever-increasing pressure on students to secure employment so that appropriate psychological interventions can be provided to undergraduates. Methods: The survey was conducted on 170 third and fourth year undergraduates in Gyeonggi province from August 31st to September 6th, 2012 to figure out the correlations and differences in variables of appearance satisfaction and concern, and the importance of appearance in job interviews and job-seeking stress and anxiety according to the differences in gender. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, two-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis. Results: 1. There was difference between the genders for appearance satisfaction and concern. The level of satisfaction was higher in male students while concerns regarding appearance were higher in female students. There was no gender difference regarding the importance of appearance in job interviews, job-seeking stress, and job-seeking anxiety. 2. For the concerns in appearance, there was a significant difference between the genders in appearance management, and gender and the importance of appearance in job interviews showed significant interactive effects. Stress and anxiety from job-seeking did not show significant differences between the genders, but there were common significant interactive effects between gender and grades, gender and employment, and gender and the importance of appearance in job interviews. 3. Both male and female students showed higher job-seeking stress as their job-seeking anxiety was higher. Job-seeking anxiety was higher in male students who had higher concern in appearance, and in female students who placed more emphasis on the importance of appearance in job interviews. Conclusion: As female students perceived appearance in job interviews as important more than male students, their job-seeking anxiety was higher, while male students who showed higher concern in appearance also showed higher level of anxiety in job-seeking. As job-seeking anxiety was higher, job-seeking stress was also higher according to the entire participants, based on this result, methods to decrease job-seeking anxiety should be suggested.

This study was attempted to establish a model to investigate the relationship between career decision self-efficacy, department satisfaction, and job preparing stress of college students and to investigate the relationship between these factors. The subjects of this study were 355 college students aged 18 years or older in G-do, and the collected data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 24.0/AMOS 24.0 program. The fit index of the structural regression model met the acceptance criteria (χ2/df=2.89, SRMR=.04, RMSEA=.07, CFI=.96, TLI=.95). As a result of the study, first, it was found that career decision self-efficacy and department satisfaction directly affect job stress. Second, career decision self-efficacy was found to directly affect department satisfaction. Third, career decision self-efficacy was found to have an indirect effect on job stress through department satisfaction. Of the two variables influencing job stress, department satisfaction was found to have a greater relative influence on job preparing stress. Based on these research results, it is necessary to develop a strategy to increase career decision self-efficacy and department satisfaction, which has been found to affect job stress in order to reduce job preparing stress of college students.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing college life stress and life satisfaction of nursing students. The subjects included nursing students from some select areas. The research was conducted in November and December 2020. The data of a total of 227 nursing students were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings show that college life stress, economic conditions, and interpersonal relationships had significant effects on life satisfaction of the nursing students with an explanatory power of 27.1%. The study examined life satisfaction based on general characteristics and found variations according to college life satisfaction (F=5.88, p=.003), grades (F=7.07, p=.001), interpersonal relationships (F=8.80, p=.000), and economic conditions (F=10.53, p=.000). There was a statistically significant negative correlation between their college life stress and life satisfaction (r=-.436, p<.001). To summarize, these findings raise a need to provide nursing students with a strategy to address economic issues by reducing their academic stress through an improved educational environment, help them keep positive interpersonal relationships through effective communication, and offer them active information such as counseling so that they can achieve life satisfaction.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the obesity stress, weight bias and health care on Body Mass Index (BMI) in soldiers of non-combat area and to provide data for improving the quality of their life. Methods: This research involved 165 soldiers working in non-combat area. Data collection was conducted from November 1 to 20, 2015. Statistical analysis of the collected data were t-test and ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ method post hoc analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple liner regression using IBM SPSS 22.0. Results: The mean score of obesity stress was moderate ($19.05{\pm}5.28$). The mean score of weight bias was 69.03 and health care was 2.41 points. There are a positive correlation between obesity stress and BMI (r=.19, p<.05). Weight bias (r=-.19, p<.01) and health care (r=-.26, p<.01) among the subjects had negative correlations with BMI. In a multiple liner regression, obesity stress (${\beta}=.18$, p<.05), health care (${\beta}=-.18$, p<.05) were associated with BMI. Conclusion: Based on the findings that obesity stress and health care influence BMI, there is a need to control stress and to properly set proper guidelines on health care for soldiers.
Purpose: Nursing students experience a high degree of perceived stress during skills training. The resulting academic sentiment is worthy of research. This study examined the learning motivation as a mediator in the association between perceived stress and positive deactivating academic emotions in nursing students undergoing skills training. Methods: A survey was conducted on 386 third-year undergraduate nursing students at a university in Changchun, China, in 2017. The survey included the items on perceived stress, learning motivation during nursing skill training, and general academic emotion. There were 381 valid responses (response rate=98.7%). Based on the results of partial correlation and stepwise multiple regression equations, the study examined the mediation model between perceived stress, learning motivation and positive-deactivating academic emotions using process 2.16 (a plug-in specifically used to test mediation or moderation effect in SPSS). Results: There was a significant negative correlation between students' perceived stress and learning motivation during nursing skills training and positive-deactivating academic emotions. Nervousness, loss of control, and interest in developing reputation had significant predictive effects on positive-deactivating academic emotions. The mediating model was well supported. Conclusion: Learning motivation during nursing skills training lessened the damage of perceived stress on positive-deactivating academic emotions. Improving students' motivation to learn could reduce their perceived stress and build more positive emotions. Positive emotions during learning played an important role in helping nursing students improve skills and enhance their nursing competence.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of infection anxiety about COVID-19 perceived by home appliance installers and repair technicians on work stress. Methods: To collect data, the purpose of the study was explained through the labor union of domestic home appliance service companies, and a survey was conducted through mobile to 286 home appliance installers and repair technicians who agreed to the survey. Results: As a result of the analysis, it was found that age, fatigue, work satisfaction, visit time, and Corona 19 infection anxiety had a significant effect on work stress. In other words, the higher the age, the higher the fatigue, the lower the job satisfaction, the higher the work stress was when the visit time was more than 30 minutes, and the higher the Corona 19 infection anxiety, the higher the work stress. Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, the following suggestions are made. First, in order to prevent work stress, we propose the development of a workplace health care program that can solve fatigue. Second, it is necessary to prepare a working environment and provide institutional support to reduce work stress by increasing Job satisfaction. Third, a workplace quarantine measures is needed to prevent infection for essential-workers who do face-to-face work in preparation for possible infectious diseases in the future.
Purpose: This study determined acculturative stress' effect on the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents based on Roy's Adaptation Model and some earlier studies. Further, it examined the sequential multiple mediating effects of bicultural acceptance attitude, self-esteem, and social withdrawal on life satisfaction. Methods: Participants included 1,163 multicultural adolescents who participated in the sixth Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study. A hypothesis test was conducted using Hayes' Process Macro Model 81. Results: Life satisfaction increased with a decline in acculturative stress. Each of bicultural acceptance attitude, self-esteem, and social withdrawal had a single mediating effect on the relationship between acculturative stress and life satisfaction in multicultural adolescents. The sequential multiple mediating effects of bicultural acceptance attitude and self-esteem were confirmed significant after their impact on the relationship between acculturative stress and life satisfaction was analyzed. Bicultural acceptance attitude and social withdrawal were found to have a significant sequential multiple mediating effect on the relationship, as well. Conclusion: This study's results demonstrate that acculturative stress reduction is critical to improving multicultural adolescents' life satisfaction. Bicultural acceptance attitude, self-esteem, and social withdrawal have a single mediating or sequential multiple mediating effect on the relationship between multicultural adolescents' acculturative stress and life satisfaction. The findings, which highlight mediating effects, indicate that by increasing bicultural acceptance attitude and self-esteem, and reducing social withdrawal, multicultural adolescents' life satisfaction can be improved.
Purpose: This study sought to identify the levels of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) knowledge, anxiety, nursing professionalism, and clinical practicum stress, and the factors influencing this stress in nursing students. Methods: A cross-sectional and descriptive study was conducted with the participation of 140 junior and senior nursing students recruited from three nursing colleges in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. Data analysis was performed using independent t-tests, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Results: The study arrived at a mean score of 63.18±13.89 for clinical practicum stress, which showed a significant difference based on the perceived health status and reasons for admission to nursing school. Anxiety and professionalism exhibited a noteworthy correlation with clinical practicum stress. The significant predictors of clinical practicum stress among nursing students were perceived health status (β=.39, p<.001), anxiety (β=.25, p=.033), and the reasons for admission to nursing school (β=.17, p=.012). The total explanatory power of these variables was 23.0% (F=6.28, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to provide effective education to promote nursing professionalism during a pandemic. It is also necessary to develop and include various programs in the curriculum that strategically intervene to prevent anxiety in pre-service nurses. This would reduce the stress in the clinical practice of nursing students when faced with new infectious diseases in the future.
Since the occlusal loading is transmitted to the surrounding bone, the success of an implant treatment is closely related to the distribution of the stress on the implant. The finite element analysis method is often used in order to produce a model for dispersion of stress. Assessment of the success of the implant is usually based on the degree of osseointegration which is a bone and implant surface interface. Implant used in this research was designed through the method of shape optimization after the stress on implant was anaylzed by the finite element analysis method. This study was pertinently assessed by a clinical, histologic, histomorphometric analysis after the shape optimized implant was installed on beagle dog tibia. The results are as follows 1. It clinically showed a good result without mobility and imflammatory reaction. 2. Implant was supported by dense bone and bone remodeling showed on the surrounding area of the implant 3. The average percentage of bone-implant contact was 58.1%.The percentage of bone density was 57.6%. Having above results, shape optimized implant showed the pertinence through clinical and histologic aspects. However, to use the shape optimized implant, the further experiment is required for finding problems, improvement.
