  • The purpose of this study is to develop a cold rolling oil with lubricity and mill cleanness property under the rolling conditions of high reduction ratio and high rolling speed. Six kinds of oil samples were blended. Evaluation of lubricity and anti-seizuro property of the samples were carried out with a laboratory scale rolling mill, where the contact conditions between work roll and strip are very close to actual cold rolling mill. Laboratory evaluation for dispersion, contamination, anti-oil stain property and residual carbon, etc. were carried out with several testers such as longterm circulation tester, Coulter counter and Conradson tester. A new high speed cold rolling oil with good lubricity and mill cleanness property was developed compared with the previously developed rolling oil.

  • This paper is concerned with pressure welding, which has been known as a main bonding mechanism during the cold and warm forming such as clad extrusion or bundle extrusion/drawing. Bonding characteristics between the Cu and Al plates by pressure welding are investigated focusing on the weak bonding. Experiments are performed at the cold and warm temperatures ranging from the room temperature to $200^{\circ}C$. The important factors examined in this work are the welding pressure, pressure holding time, surface roughness, and temperature. A bonding map, which can identify the bonding criterion with a weak bonding strength of IMPa , is proposed in terms of welding pressure and surface roughness fur the cold and warm temperature ranges.

  • The purpose of this study was to define the effects of the finger temperature response according to the daily life of college student. For this study, 31 healthy female college students were taken as a subject group. To define the effects of the finger temperature response, housing style, subjective thermal sensations during daily life in the house and domestic working time were surveyed. The finger temperature response items were measured. The results were as follows. Strong, normal and weak group members were divided according to their cold resistance index(RI) 3, 8, 20 people, repectively. Subjective thermal sensations during daily life in the house affects the cold resistance index(p<.01). The cold resistance index(RI) got higher as domestic working time was increased(p<.05, F-value=3.927). The percentage wearing protective gloves during domestic work in the weak group was higher than the normal or strong groups. Subjective sensations during daily life and domestic working time effected the local cold tolerance, living in a comfortable environment continuously can weaken one's cold tolerance.

  • It has been known that the life time of cold forging dies is shorten by the cracks and wear produced during the operation. Thus it is required to mak the same new one too often, At this time of making new ont the cutting work and electical discharge machining were mormally used. But the precision of product is declined in every times of making the mew dies due to the diffefence in dimensional accuracy arised from the electical discharge machining. Especially it can't meet the delivery date because the production was delayed for making another die. Furthemore it has the problem of increasing the production cost. Therfore inthis study we tried to solve these problems using the hobbing method instead of electical discharge machining.

  • This study presents cyclic stress-strain and tensile test results at room temperature (RT) and 316℃ using cold-worked TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals. By comparing the cyclic hardening/softening behavior and failure cycle of cold-worked materials with those of irradiated austenitic stainless steels, the feasibility of simulating the irradiation effect on cyclic deformation and failure behaviors of TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals was investigated. It was found that, in the absence of strain-induced martensite trasformation, cold-working could properly simulate the change in cyclic hardening/softening behavior of TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals due to neutron irradiation. It was also recognized that cold-working could adequately simulate the reduction in failure cycles of TP304 stainless steel base and weld metals due to neutron irradition in the low-cycle fatigue region.

  • Recently, due to the effect of global warming, the high temperature phenomenon continues, and the time for workers exposed to high temperature, cold and infrared is increasing and then safety is threatened. Due to the nature of on-site work, the work is being carried out in an unreasonable manner due to the process, which is exposed to disasters due to high temperature and cold. Even though the injured skin may be damaged, the worker may not be aware of it and may be injured. By understanding the working environment of the worker and calculating the risk index and expressing it on the helmet, the surrounding colleagues inform the worker of the risk and take appropriate measures so that the accident can be prevented in advance. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of exposure duration on the workers' by measuring the exposure time, the risk index is displayed in the form of a traffic light to the helm, informing neighboring workers and managers, and transmitting to the workers by voice.

  • The objective of the current research work is to investigate the usage of biodiesel combined with the use of EGR in order to reduce the emission of all regulated pollutants from diesel engines. A single cylinder, air cooled, constant speed direct injection diesel engine was used for the experimental work and a cold EGR system was developed and fitted to the engine. Concentrations of HCs, NOx, and CO from the exhaust gas along with the smoke opacity were measured. Engine performance parameters such as the brake thermal efficiency (BTE) and the brake specific energy consumption (BSEC) were also calculated from the measured data. The results from the present investigation suggest that 25-30% EGR rate could give excellent NOx reduction without any significance penalty on smoke opacity or BSEC under the engine load of up to 40%. Under the full load condition, 15% EGR rate was found to be an option while higher EGR rate resulted in inferior performance and heavy smoke.

  • The purpose of this study was to after induced delayed onset muscle soreness, the purpose of this study is to present the effective way on skin temperature changes and cold pain for 14 subjects during to applied with only Cold-jet stream and Cold-jet stream with infra red. 14 healthy men and women who delayed onset muscle soreness eccentric contractions induced by exercise and then the biceps alone was applied to the Cold-jet stream. We measured the time that skin temperature fall from room temperature to $10^{\circ}C$(first period), the time rewarmed from $10^{\circ}C$ to $20^{\circ}C$(second period), the time fall again to $10^{\circ}C$(third period) and the time rewarmed again to $20^{\circ}C$(fourth period). Cold-jet stream with infrared combination therapy was performed with the same method. Results of this study were 1st and 2nd experimental cooling experiments in the to fall to $10^{\circ}C$ Cold-jet stream with infrared combination therapy than in the Cold-jet stream was longer(p<.05). At second period, It took longer in Cold-jet stream with infrared rewarmed than Cold-jet stream to rewarm skin(p<.05). Cold-jet stream with infrared combination therapy than Cold-jet stream had less incidence of cold pain(p<.05). Thickness of biceps brachii were found significant difference related measurment each group was consistent. In this study, Cold-jet stream with infrared combination therapy more effective than Cold-jet stream in reduced cold pain and lowering skin temperature. • The purpose of this research is to evaluate the change of Yangdorak in women who work in three shifts and during the day. In this research, seventy women who work during the day and thirty women who work in three shifts, all of whom are working at Woo shin hyang Oriental Hospital and Kang dong gu Office, were the two subjects for it. We evaluated and compared the Yangdorak appeared in two groups and studied the relations with clinical symptoms between the two. In Yangdorak, the women who work in three shifts were evaluated low numerical value in liver meridian, heart meridian, kidney meridian compared with the women who work during the day. Based on the results above, we can state that the women who work in three shifts suffer from severe dysmenorrhea, insomnia, cold hypersensitivity.
