인지부하이론을 적용한 약물계산훈련용 스마트폰 어플리케이션의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effectiveness of a Drug Dosage Calculation Training Program using Cognitive Loading Theory Based on Smartphone Application)

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop and evaluate a drug dosage calculation training program using cognitive loading theory based on a smartphone application. Calculation ability, dosage calculation related self-efficacy and anxiety were measured. Methods: A nonequivalent control group design was used. Smartphone application and a handout for self-study were developed and administered to the experimental group and only a handout was provided for control group. Intervention period was 4 weeks. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test, and ANCOVA with the SPSS 18.0. Results: The experimental group showed more 'self-efficacy for drug dosage calculation' than the control group (t=3.82, p<.001). Experimental group students had higher ability to perform drug dosage calculations than control group students (t=3.98, p<.001), with regard to 'metric conversion' (t=2.25, p =.027), 'table dosage calculation' (t=2.20, p =.031) and 'drop rate calculation' (t=4.60, p<.001). There was no difference in improvement in 'anxiety for drug dosage calculation'. Mean satisfaction score for the program was 86.1. Conclusion: These results indicate that this drug dosage calculation training program using smartphone application is effective in improving dosage calculation related self-efficacy and calculation ability. Further study should be done to develop additional interventions for reducing anxiety.

  • In CRNs, SS is of utmost significance. Every CR user generates a sensing report during the training phase beneath various circumstances, and depending on a collective process, either communicates or remains silent. In the training stage, the fusion centre combines the local judgments made by CR users by a majority vote, and then returns a final conclusion to every CR user. Enough data regarding the environment, including the activity of PU and every CR's response to that activity, is acquired and sensing classes are created during the training stage. Every CR user compares their most recent sensing report to the previous sensing classes during the classification stage, and distance vectors are generated. The posterior probability of every sensing class is derived on the basis of quantitative data, and the sensing report is then classified as either signifying the presence or absence of PU. The ISVM technique is utilized to compute the quantitative variables necessary to compute the posterior probability. Here, the iterations of SVM are tuned by novel GO-PSA by combining GOA and PSO. Novel GO-PSA is developed since it overcomes the problem of computational complexity, returns minimum error, and also saves time when compared with various state-of-the-art algorithms. The dependability of every CR user is taken into consideration as these local choices are then integrated at the fusion centre utilizing an innovative decision combination technique. Depending on the collective choice, the CR users will then communicate or remain silent.

뇌손상 흰쥐에서 기억과 학습훈련이 해마의 신경 성장인자에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Memory and Learning Training on Neurotropic Factor in the Hippocampus after Brain Injury in Rats)

  • 본 연구는 뇌손상 흰쥐에서 기억과 학습훈련을 통해 인지기능회복과 해마의 신경 성장인자에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 뇌손상은 Sprague-Dawley계 흰쥐 36마리를 중대뇌동맥(middle cerebral artery)을 폐색하여 유발하였고, 실험 군들은 3개 군으로 분류하였다; 실험 군 I은 뇌손상유발 군(n=12), 실험 군 II는 뇌손상 유발 후 트레드밀훈련 군(n=12), 실험 군 Ⅲ은 뇌손상 유발 후 기억과 학습훈련 군(n=12)으로 나누었다. 인지기능 검사를 위해 수중모리스미로 습득검사와 파지검사를 실시하였으며, 조직학적 검사는 해마조직의 BDNF(brain-derived neurotrophic factor) 면역조직화학 반응을 관찰하였다. 수중모리스미로 습득 검사(Morris water maze acquisition test)는 시간과 군사이의 교호작용이 유의한 차이가 나타났고(p<.001), III군에서 9일에서 12일째까지 원형도피대를 찾는 시간이 I, II군에 비해 단축되었다. 수중모리스미로 파지검사(retention test)는 군 사이에서도 유의한 차이가 나타났으며(p<.001), 13일째 III군에서 원형도피대가 있었던 사분원에 배회하는 시간이 가장 길었다. 조직학적 검사는 III군에서 7일째 해마조직의 CA1에서 BDNF의 면역조직화학반응이 I, II군에 비해 면역양성반응의 증가를 관찰하였다. 뇌손상 흰쥐에서 기억과 학습훈련이 신경성장인자 발현 변화와 이로 인한 신경연접 가소성의 변화를 통해 인지기능회복에 더 좋은 영향을 주었다.

요양시설 노인들의 건강상태, 일상생활수행능력, 우울, 수면과 인지기능정도와 관련요인 (Health Conditions, Activities of Daily Living, Depression, Sleep, and Cognitive Functions of the Elderly at Care Facilities and Their Related Factors)

  • 본 연구는 요양시설에 있는 노인들의 건강상태, 일상생활수행능력, 우울, 수면과 인지기능정도와의 관련성을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상자는 요양시설에서 거주하는 만 65세 이상의 노인 204명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료는 기술적 통계, t-tset, ANOVA, pearson correlation과 hierarchical multiple regression으로 분석 하였다. 그 결과, 요양시설 노인들의 인지기능 정도와 관련성은 규칙적 운동, 입소기간, 요양등급, 신체 부자유함 유무, 듣는 능력, 치아상태, 요실금, 일상생활수행능력, 수면 등과 관련이 있었다. 인지기능정도와 상관관계에서는 일상생활수행능력과 양의 상관관계로 나타났고, 수면과 음의상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 요양시설 노인들의 인지기능장애에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 규칙적 운동을 하지 않을 때, 입소기간이 길 때, 요양등급이 높을 때, 듣는 능력이 나쁠 때, ADL(Activities of Daily Living), IADL(Instrumental Activities of Daily Living)이 의존적일 때, 수면장애가 있을 때 인지기능장애가 높았다. 결론적으로, 요양시설 노인들의 인지기능과의 관련성은 노인 스스로 인지하는 건강상태와 감각영역 건강상태와 관련이 높으며, 이러한 인지기능장애 영향요인을 중재하기 위한 인지재활훈련 프로그램 등의 개발, 적용 및 지속적인 평가 및 관리가 요구된다.

고등학생들의 통합 탐구 기능 향상을 위한 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of Cognitive Scaffolding Tools for Enhancing the Integrated Science Process Skills of High School Students)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 고등학생들의 통합 탐구 기능 향상을 위한 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구를 개발하고, 그 적용 효과를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 문헌 연구 및 선행 연구 결과를 토대로 통합 탐구 기능 교육을 위한 수업용 자료 1종과 학생들이 자신의 탐구 능력 수준에 맞추어 선택적으로 학습할 수 있는 개별 학습용 자료 2종을 포함한 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구를 개발하였다. 또한, 통합 탐구 기능에 대한 학생들의 수준을 조사하기 위한 도구로 가설-연역적 탐구 형식으로 구성된 사전, 사후 검사용 탐구 과제를 1개씩 개발하였다. 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 실험군과 대조군의 사전, 사후 검사에 대해 추리 통계를 실시하였다. 또한, 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구의 적용 여부에 따른 고등학생들의 통합 탐구 능력을 Rasch 모형에 따른 Wrightmap을 산출하여 비교하였고, 통합 탐구 기능의 각 요소에 대한 학생들의 수준 변화 양상을 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구를 사용했던 실험군은 대조군에 비해 탐구 설계, 자료 수집 및 변환, 자료 해석, 결론 도출 등 모든 평가 요소에서 유의미하게 높은 점수를 보였다. 또한, 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구를 활용했던 학생들은 전반적으로 통합 탐구 능력이 향상되었고, 통합 탐구 기능의 각 요소에서 높은 수준으로 뚜렷하게 변화되는 양상을 보여주었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학생들이 과학 탐구를 수행하는 과정에서 직면하는 기능적 장벽을 완화 또는 제거하기 위해 인지적 스캐폴딩 도구를 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

The Effect of Dual-task Training on a Serial Reaction Time Task for Motor Learning

  • Purpose: We examined the effect of dual-task and single-task training on serial reaction time (SRT) task performance to determine whether SRT is based more on motor or perception in a dual-task. Methods: Forty healthy adults were divided into two groups: the dual-task group (mean age, $21.8{\pm}1.6$ years) and the single-task group (mean age, $21.7{\pm}1.6$ years). SRT task was conducted total 480 trial. The four figures were presented randomly 16 times. A unit was set as 1 block that would repeat 10 times. Thus, there were a total of 160 trials for each of the three color conditions. The dual-task group performed an SRT task while detecting the color of a specific shape. The end of the task, subjects answered the specific shape number; the single-task group only performed the SRT task. The study consisted of three parts: pre-measurement, task performance, and post-measurement. Results: Differences of pre and post reaction time between two group was higher for the dual-task group as compared to the single task group and there was a significant interaction between time and group (p<0.05). Conclusion: Our results indicate that. short term period SRT is not quiet effective under dual-task conditions, individuals need additional cognitive processes to successfully navigate a task This suggests that dual-task training might not be appropriate for motor learning enhancement, at least when the training is over a short period.

고혈압 노인에서 복식호흡 이완훈련이 혈압 및 스트레스 반응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Abdominal Relaxed Breathing Training on Stress response and Blood Pressure for Elderly Hypertensionve Patient)

  • In order to improve self-management of elderly hypertensives in this study, the researcher examined the effect of blood pressure regulation by an abdominal relaxed breathing training which regulates physical response to stress and lessens the activity of the sympathetic nerve. Method: A quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design was used. Thirty elderly hypertensive patient ; Sixteen in the abdominal breathing group and fourteen in the control group participated in this study. The abdominal relaxed breathing training consisted of eight sessions twice a week for four weeks. There was no intervention for the control group. Result: 1. There was a significant decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the experimental group and control group over three different times, and interaction by groups and over time. 2. There was no significant difference in the level of total stress response, physical stress response, behavioral-cognitive stress response between the experimental group and control group over three different times, and interaction by groups and over time. Conclusion: Findings indicate that this study will contribute to develop nursing strategies for the regulation of blood pressure for the elderly, which is easy for the elderly to learn as a nonpharmacologic approach.

학교폭력 예방을 위한 인터넷 기반 분노조절 프로그램의 개발과 효과 검증 (The Effect of an Internet-Based Anger Management Program for School-Aged Children to Prevent School Violence)

  • Objectives : This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of an internet-based anger management program for school-aged children. Methods : Forty-eight elementary school students took part in an anger management training program; subsequently, participants, their parents, and their teachers answered questionnaires assessing the participants' anger, aggressiveness, and other emotional/behavioral problems, pre- and post-training. Results : At the post-training self-assessment, the participants showed significant reductions in their "anger-out" tendencies and physical aggressiveness. In addition, the effects of the program on "anger-out" tendencies, aggressiveness, anger and peer relational problem were found to be more significant in participants who reported depressive symptoms. Teachers rated the participants' peer-relational problems as having decreased after the training. Conclusion : The proposed internet-based anger management program had a significant effect on the school-aged children's abilities to control their anger.

연습이 화학문제 해결에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Training on Chemical Problem-Solving Learning)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of training and use of worked-example on chemical problem-solving learning. Schema acquisition and rule automation are the basic components of skilled problem-solving, which are dependent on appropriately focused attention and sufficient cognitive resources. Training and use of worked-example facilitate schema acquisition and rule automation, so improve problem-solving learning. The subjects of this study were 60 high school students. The average age was 17 years old. Then, they were randomly assigned to each groups and the chemical reaction problems used as experimental materials. The independent variables of this study were training and use of worked-examples and dependent variables were time for solution and the number of error. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The worked-example groups spent significantly less time on solution for acquisition problems than the conventional problem groups. 2. The long-acquisition groups spent significantly less time on solution for acquisition problems than the short-acquisition groups. 3. The modified worked-example groups did not spend significantly less time on solution for acquisition problems than the worked-example groups.

인지행동기반 스트레스관리 프로그램이 제2형 당뇨병 환자의 스트레스, 대처 및 스트레스 반응에 미치는 효과 (Effects of a Cognitive Behavioral Stress Management Program on Perceived Stress, Coping Strategies, and Stress Response in People with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of a cognitive behavioral stress management program on perceived stress, coping strategies, and cortisol in people with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. Method: Patients with type 2 diabetes were recruited from of a public health center in an urban area. Thirty-five participants (experimental group=17, and control group=18) enrolled. The experimental group received small group-based cognitive behavioral stress management training for eighty minutes per session, once a week for eight weeks. Data were collected at baseline and ninth week for perceived stress, affect-oriented coping, problem-oriented coping, and cortisol. The data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0. Results: The experimental group had significantly less perceived stress (t=-9.82, P<.001) and cortisol (t=-2.14, p=.040) than the control group. No significant group differences were found in affect-oriented coping (t=-.43, p=.673) or problem-oriented coping (t=1.40, P<.170). Conclusion: These results suggest that a cognitive behavioral stress management program can have positive effects on perceived stress and cortisol in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. Further research with a larger sample and for a longer period is needed to expand our understanding of the effects of the program for patients with diabetes mellitus type 2.
