Magnetization behavior of ultra thin $Fe_xCo_{1-x}$ alloy (where x varies from 0 to 100) has been investigated as functions of composition on Cr (100) substrate by using in situ surface magneto optical Kerr effect (SMOKE). It's always show in plane uniaxial magnetic anisotropy at room temperature (RT) & Low temperature (LT). It is observed that composition dependent coercive force maximum at about 30 at % Co and 70 at % Co atomic ratio and minimum near equiatomic site. The relative magnetic moments as composition variation also show magnetization collapse near equiatomic site. The magnetization behaviors of Fe-Co alloy on Cr (100) due to composition varies are supported the order-disordering as well as structural stability bcc (ferromagnetic)/fcc (anti-ferromagnetic) phase stability magnetism.

In this paper, we investigate frequency dependance of inductance of FeCoB amorphous magnetic films. $(Fe_{1-x}Co_x)_{79}Si_2B_{19}$ was used as the basic composition of amorphous magnetic film having near zero magnetostriction. The amorphous magnetic films were fabricated with x=0.94 and x=0.95 by using sputtering method at high frequency. The films were anneald under non-magnetic field and near crystallization temperatures(30min at $280^{\circ}C$, 30min and 1hr at $400^{\circ}C$, respectively). As the results of the experiments with the fabricated films, the lowest coercive force was 0.084[Oe] at 400[W] of the input power and the crystallization temperature was $360^{\circ}C$ . In the case 30min at 40$0^{\circ}C$ the inductance value in the low frequency with x=0.95 was higher by 488% than that with x=0.94. The quality factor Q was below 0.7 for all samples. We obtained the highest quality value at 400[KHz] with 30min at $280^{\circ}C$ and x=0.94. The value was about 0.62. Also, the quality factor value was about 0.35 at 1[MHz] with 30min at $280^{\circ}C$ and x=0.95.
Co-ferrite ($CoO-Fe_{2}O_{3}$) thin films have been prepared by two ways of low temperature solid reaction including oxidation process, being based on $Co-layer/{\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ films and $Co-layer/Fe_{3}O_{4}$ films. Magnetic properties of both Co-ferrite films have been measured and compared. The samples from $Co-layer/Fe_{3}O_{4}$ films have a large coercive force in the direction perpendicular and have a great poler kerr rotation angle at wavelength 700 nm than ones from $Co-layer/{\alpha}-Fe_{2}O_{3}$ films. The typical magnetic properties are as follows; saturation magnetization $4{\pi}Ms$, 2.9 kG; remnant magnetization $4{\pi}Mr$, 2.0 kG; coercive force Hc, 4.0 kOe; kerr rotation angle ${\PHI}k$, 0.39 deg($\lambda\;=\;700\;nm$); and initial magnetization energy E, $3.3\;{\times}\;10^6\;erg/\textrm{m}^3$, respectively.
As a new technical approach, a hydraulic and magnetic clamp device was developed to realize a magnetic clamp crane system by simultaneously actuating eight individual hydraulic cylinders. In this approach, an Sr-type of ferritic permanent magnet (SrO· 6Fe2O3), rather than the previous electromagnet, was utilized for the purpose of lifting and transporting the large curved steel plates used for manufacturing ships. This study had the goal of developing and manufacturing a hydraulic, magnetic clamp prototype composed of three main parts, including the base frame, cylinder joint, and magnet joint, in order to safely transport curved steel plates. Furthermore, this research included a performance evaluation of the manufactured prototype and acquired the purposed quantity value in the performance test. The most significant item, the magnetic adhesive force (G), was evaluated in a performance test, which utilized a ferritic permanent magnet (Sr type) with 3700~4000 G of residual induction (Br) and 2640/2770 Oe of coercive force (Hc). In particular, relevant items such as the hoist tension (kN), transportation time (s), and applied load (Kgf) on the hydraulic cylinders were also evaluated in order to determine the optimum values.
The effect of annealing on the magnetic properties and the microstructures of the amorphous $Fe_{76-x}Cu_1Mo_xSi_{14}B_9$(x=2,3) alloys were investigated. When annealed at 500${^{\circ}C}$ for 1hr, $8{\sim}9{\times}10^3$ of the effective permeability and 3~4 A/m of the coercive force were achieved upon crystallization to $\alpha$-Fe phase. And the average diameter of the $\alpha$-Fe grains was about 20nm. For the nanovrystalline ferromagnets. the fine grain size is the important requirement to obtain a good soft magnetic property. In this work, in order to get the finer grain size of $\alpha$-Fe phase, two-step annealing treatment was given. That is, following the low-temperature at $400{^{\circ}C}$ for 1~3hr, the high-temperature annealing at $500{^{\circ}C}$ for 1hr was carried out. As the low-temperature annealing time increased, the effective permeability increased to $1.2{\sim}1.7{\times}10^4$ and the coercive force decreased to about 2 A/m. And the grain size was observed to be smaller than 10nm. The increased permeability and the decreased coercive force were attributed to the reduced average crystalline anisotropy by the refinement of $\alpha$-Fe(Si) grains.
Ba-ferrite thin films were prepared on Si substrate with ${\alpha}$-Fe$_2$O$_3$ underlayer by a pulsed laser deposition system and characterized by X-ray, SEM, Mossbauer spectroscopy and VSM. The appropriate conditions of pulsation in ${\alpha}$-Fe$_2$O$_3$ and Ba-ferrite were the oxygen pressure of 0.1 Torr at a substrate temperature of 400$^{\circ}C$. Ba-ferrite crystals had the forms of ellipsoidal or needle and the grains shaped the more lumps with increasing the film thickness. Mossbauer spectroscopy assured that the direction of atomic spin in Fe ion was not random but had the tendency of arrangement normal to the substrate. The coercive force and squareness of hysteresis were larger in normal than in plane to the substrate but, the magnetic saturation moment was contrary to them. The spin arrangement was strongly affected by ${\alpha}$-Fe$_2$O$_3$ underlayer and the high coercive force and squareness were influenced by this. The crystal structure was conformed to be a Magntoplumbite symmetry with the hexagonal unit cell and the lattice constant of a increased with increasing film thickness, while c decreased
Thin films of $Si0_2(1000{\AA})/CoNiCr(400{\AA})/Cr$ were fabricated as a function of Cr thickness by KF magnetron sputtering. The saturation magnetization, coercive force and squareness with annealing temperature for these films were investigated. The values of saturation magnetization of $SiO_2/CoNiCr/Cr$ thin films decreased as the thickness of Cr underlayer increased, whereas coercive force increased as the thickness of Cr underlayer increased. The value of Ms was 600 emu/cc and the maximum value of Hc was 550 Oe. Especially, the value of saturation magnetization was rapidly decreased $SiO_2/CoNiCr/Cr(1700{\AA})$ thin films as the annealing temperature increased And the coercive force increased as the annealing temperature increased When annealing temperature was $650^{\circ}C$, the Ms was reduced to 90 % of the as-deposited film. And the Hc was showed maximum 1600 Oe. It was thought that Cr diffusion into CoNiCr layer reduced the magnetic moment of CoKiCr layer. In addition. Hc might he increased due to grain growth perpendicular to the film plane.
We have synthesized the low temperature sintered of Ni-Zn-Cu ferrite with nonstoichiometric composition a little deficient in $Fe_2O_3$ from $(Ni_{0.2}Cu_{0.2}Zn_{0.6})_{1+x}(Fe_2O_3)_{1-x}$. For low loss and acceleration of grain growth $TiO_2$ and $Li_2CO_3$ was added from 0.25 mol% to 1.0 mol%. The mixture of the law materials was calcinated and milled. The compacts of toroidal type were sintered at different temperature $(875^{\circ}C,\;900^{\circ}C,\;925^{\circ}C\;950^{\circ}C)$ for 2 hours in air followed by an air cooling. Then, effects of composition and sintering temperatures on the physical properties such as density, resistivity, magnetic induction, coercive force, initial permeability, and quality factor of the Ni-Zn-Cu ferrite were investigated. The density of the Ni-Zn-Cu ferrite was $4.85\sim5.32g/cm^3$, resistivity revealed $10^8\sim10^{12}\Omega-cm$. The magnetic properties obtained from the aforementioned Ni-Zn-Cu ferrite specimens were 1,300 gauss for the maximum induction, 4.5 oersted for the coercive force, 275 for the initial permeability, and 83 for the quality factor. The physical properties indicated that the specimens could be utilized as the core of high frequency range (involved microwave range) communication and deflection yoke of T.V.

For improving the magnetic properties of the amorphous Fe-B-Si alloy, we annealed the sample in a magnetic field oriented in the plane of the ribbon longitudinal to its long axis. By field annealing, coercive force and total core loss are reduced from 0.04 Oe to 0.02 Oe, and from 0.25 watt/kg to 0.15 watt/kg respectively in comparsion with non-field annealed specimen. These reductions were caused by the formation of 180 dcmain wall parallel to the annealing field due to the induced anisotropy.

The effects of annealing temperature on the magnetic properties (maximum permeability, coercive force and remanence) and mechanical properties (hardness, tensile strength and elongation at rupture) were analyzed using the nondestructive impulsive magnetic analyzer in a medium carbon cold rolled steel sheet. This nondestructive method was very useful for the analysis of magnetic and mechanical properties of materials. As it was known in the literature, the three distinct processes that indicate the recovery, recrystallization, and grain growth of a metal were measured with the non-destructive analyzer.
