The purpose of this study was to investigate the causes of bankruptcy in small apparel stores. Data were collected from 153 apparel retail store owners who experienced failure in small apparel stores in Busan. The results showed as follows; The internal factors that caused bankruptcy in small apparel stores were the problems related with employees, capital, investment, weak marketing strategies, inadequate management, and characteristics of store owners. The external factors were economic condition, unexpected incidents, and the condition of market. There were significant differences in the perception of factors which caused the store bankruptcy according to prior business experience before opening apparel stores, the level of education, and the period between store opening and closing.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the successful managerial strategy based on managerial failure in small apparel stores by using the qualitative research method. Data were collected by face to face interviews with 15 owners/managers who experienced failure in small business operation in January and February 2004. The entrepreneurship, supply chain management and managerial cleanness/QR(quick response) related weak management were shown to be important managerial points.

The purpose of this study was to investigate perceived service qualities in cosmetics purchasing and, those difference and consumer satisfaction among cosmetics store types. Data were collected from 276 adult females and analyzed by using frequencies, factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA and duncan test utilizing SPSS WIN 10.0. The results showed that consumers perceived service quality such as reliability and responsiveness, product policy, tangibles, store atmosphere policy, business policy, sales policy to cosmetics store. There were significant differences on service quality among cosmetics store types. Consumers using department stores highly perceived factors such as reliability and responsiveness, product policy, tangibles, store and atmosphere policy, but consumers using common cosmetics store lowly perceived these factors. There were significant differences with regard to use effect and pleasure in using to satisfaction among cosmetics store types. Use effect was revealed the highest to consumers purchasing cosmetics in department stores but the lowest in discount stores. Pleasure in using was revealed the highest consumers using department stores but the lowest common cosmetics store.

This paper suggests an evaluation of risk level for damage of marine accidents in SRRs. Qualitative analyses in words is sometimes priorior to quantative analyses in numeric symbols. This paper intoduces a concept of fuzzy theory with the plenty of related literature riview and AHP in the Korean SRRs of RCC and RSC. The methodology of this paper is maxㆍmin composition of fuzzy extensive principle, defuzzifiation is centroid of gravity methods. At the result, the evaluation of risk level is especially over Serous for smarine accident of Taean, Gunsan, Mokpo, Yosu, Tongyoung, Busan SRR. This paper recommends that many Resale Vessels and Equipments need to the reduction of risk level about those.

전력계통에 대한 감시, 해석, 진단 및 제어에서 방재, 보안기능에 이르기까지 변전소에서 행하여지는 모든 기능을 통합, 기능의 극대화, 공간의 최소화, 관리의 효율화 등을 도모하기 위하여 변전소자동화(Station Automation : SA)라는 개념이 대두되었다. 하지만 계통의 상태에 따라서 OLTC의 tap동작은 오히려 전압안정성을 저해하는 방향으로 동작할 수도 있다. 또한 변전소에 연결되어 있는 switched capacitor와 OLTC의 잘못된 co-ordination 동작은 쓸데없는 tap 동작을 야기 시킨다. 본 논문에서는 단일 변전소 환경하에서 전압 무효전력을 제어하는 알고리즘에 대해서 논의할 것이다.

Adequate Co-ordination between Generator Speed Governor and AGC plays major role in maintaining a Frequency Stability. Recently frequency instability cases were recorded when power system was unbalanced between generation and demand in Korea. The paper deals with the concept of Generator frequency control logic & AGC algorithm for determining generator output target. Consequently the paper presents the improvement of EMS AGC control for stable frequency recovery in case of generator disturbance.

The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code has come into force on July 7$^{th}$ 2004. It would therefore be prudent that all parties' concerned put in place, methodically, systematically and as soon as possible, all the necessary infrastructure needed to give effect to all the decisions of the Conference. But the ISPS Code doesn't have the details during implementation. For example, how to legislate, administrate\ulcorner How are the data relating to security incident saved\ulcorner So, the author will lay emphasis to expatiate on three aspects in this thesis on the basis of the fact of anti-terrorism at sea.

Studies of cry characteristics in the newborn infant were aimed to determine if cry analysis could be succesful in the early detection of the infant at risk for developmental difficulties. Crying presupposes functioning of the respiratory, laryngeal and supralaryngeal muscles. The nervous system controls the capacity, stability, and co-ordination of the movements in these muscles. Hence, the cry provides information about how the Nervous System is functioning. 3 patients(down syndrome, cornelia de lange syndrome, Patent ductus arteriosus) were assessed through a Computerized Speech Lab (CSL). Tests had been chosen to assess Fundamental frequency(mean, maximum, minimum values), Melody contour, NHR, Energy. We compared the data from patients and healthy volunteer. Variations in cry characteristics were documented in a number of medical abnormalities.

When 154kV Line is opened, what happens on generator? What protection relay operates? Therefore through studying on this trouble, the operator will handle well on re-troubling and we would like to re-examine thoroughly the co-ordination of generator and transformer protection system.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the causes of managerial failure in small apparel retailers by using the qualitative research method. The study was performed by interviews from thirteen owners/managers who experienced failure as small apparel retailers from November 2003 to February 2004. The causes of failure in the small apparel businesses were human related problems, marketing strategy problems, marketing mix, weak managerial ability, and business environment related problems. Of special interest was causes such as incomplete legal documents with franchisers, unexpected tax investigation from the office of National Tax Administration(NTA), sexual discrimination for women owners, and incapable risk management. It is interesting to note that tax investigation by NTA and sexual discrimination in the business custom were shown as the main causes of business failure in Korea.
