Chonggang Kim Younghoon is a person who cannot be dropped out in speaking of contemporary Korean history. "Susehyunsuh" is very meaningful since it's his early work. It was written in winter of 1904, and it was written to adjust all his medical knowledge so far, before he started lectures after appointment to a professor at Dongje medical school. In general, it's chaptersd are in form of poetry and a characteristic of the edition is that it's in the best use of searching the text for clinical practice. The content is basically sorted from "Euihakyipmun" and "Donguibogam", but prescriptions are mostly referred from Chosun medical books of those days.

We introduce the concepts of ($\mathcal{T}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$, $\mathcal{U}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$)-double (r, s) (u, v)-semiclosures and ($\mathcal{T}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$, $\mathcal{U}^{{\mu}{\gamma}}$)-double (r, s)(u, v)-semiinteriors. Using the notions, we investigate some of characteristic properties of double pairwise (r, s)(u, v)-semicontinuous, double pairwise (r, s)(u, v)-semiopen and double pairwise (r, s)(u, v)-semiclosed mappings.

In the Oriental Medicine, the physical constitution of a human being can be classified into five characteristic elements. The remedy based on the five elements constitution has revealed excellent clinical effects so far. Therefore, it may be worthwhile to conduct job design researches considering the five elements constitution for improving the efficiency and safety of job. In this study, we examine whether the theory can be applied for job design through the experiment by ‘Digital-type Speed Anticipation Reaction Tester’ or not and suggest the desirable direction of job design.

Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves have been frequently used to compare probability models applied to medical problems. Though the curves are a measure of the discriminatory power of a model. they do not reflect the model's accuracy. A supplementary accuracy curve is derived which will be coincident with the ROC curve if the model is reliable. will be above the ROC curve if the model's probabilities are too high or below if they are too low. A clinical example of this new graphical presentation is given.

The characteristic features of myasthenia gravis, which are weakness of voluntary muscle and easy fatigability, result from defective neuromuscular transmission caused by an autoimmune response to acetylcholine receptor. Recently, we performed two cases of thymectomy for the treatment of myasthenia gravis, one was 50 year old man who had malignant thymoma and the other was 19 year old girl who had benign thymic hyperplasia. The former had long duration of symptoms, and showed poor postoperative result. The latter had short duration of symptoms, and showed complete remission. Herewith, we suggest that early thymectomy can give the clinical assets for myasthenia gravis. So we report these two experiences with review of literatures.

The development of vaccines against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, which features high mortality and morbidity rates, has progressed at an unprecedented rate, and vaccines are currently in use worldwide. Thrombotic events after vaccination are accompanied by thrombocytopenia, and this issue was recently termed vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia. This manuscript describes recently published guidelines and other related issues and demonstrates characteristic cases.

A visceral helminth of the squid, Todarodes pacificus, is reported from the East Sea, the Republic of Korea. Total 39 squid samples were purchased from a fish market in Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si (City) from August 2014 to July 2015 and were examined for helminth parasites with naked eyes and under a stereomicroscope after opening the abdominal cavity with a pair of scissors. Whitish larval worms were mainly found in the stomach and abdominal cavity of the squid. They were detected in 25 (64.1%) out of 39 squids examined, and the infection density was 7 larvae per infected squid. Spatula-shaped larvae were $8.2{\times}2.0mm$ in average size, round to slightly flattened anteriorly, with round hatching posteriorly, and had characteristic 4 tentacles with numerous hooklets in the scolex. The larvae were identified as the plerocercoid stage of Nybelinia surmenicola by their morphological features. This finding represents a new host record and the first report of N. surmenicola infection in T. pacificus squids from the east coast of Korea.

Natural Killer/T-cell(NK/TC) lymphoma is a rare disease of oral and maxillofacial region with an aggressive clinical course, showed unusual clinical manifestations. Prognosis is generally poor and the disease is invariably fatal after systemic dissemination. A case of nasal NK/TC non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in the left maxilla that showed unusual clinical manifestations and a fulminant course of disease, are described with literature reviews. A 81-year-old female patient presented with rapidly growing ulceration and general malaise after extraction of right upper second premolar NK/TC lymphoma was subsequently detected by biopsy. rapid and wide invasion from maxilla to mandible developed within 10 days and multiple metastasis to whole body was after a few weeks. Although the time relationship is not clear, local invasion and multiple metastasis could be dissemination from localized disease of NK/TC. As seen in my case, the course can be excessively aggressive and fulminant even though it first appeared as a localized ulceractive lesion. She is expired 2 months after biopsy. Positivity of immunohistochemical stain (CD56, LCA, UCHL-1, CD3), which is a specific characteristic of NK/TC, may serve as a factor showing a poor prognosis of a malignant lymphoma

The methodology of constitution diagnosis is main concern in sasang constitutional medicine, but highly reliable method is not yet established. So we statistically analyzed the relationship between the constitution and characteristic factors of skin such as thickness, stiffness, roughness, and touch-feeling, using 1079 clinical data registered to SCIB(Sasang constitution Information Bank), and the following results are obtained: The skin of Taeeumin are more thick or more stiff or more rough than other constitutions. The skin of Soeumin are more soft or more feeble or more feeble-refined than other constitutions. The skin of Soyangin are more slippery or more thin or more slippery-refined than other constitutions. The differences written above were proved to be meaningful enough by Chi-square test.
