This paper is contents on that construct ultra high speed wireless communication cell backbone net of city using of wireless communication transceiver for millimeter wave band. A new type of 60GHz wave band wireless transceiver using NRD waveguide. This 60GHz transceiver has excellent signal's absorption characteristics of oxygen molecule than the other millimeter wave bands. We constructed service networks to cell interval within about 500m to 3Km laying stress on wireless backbone node using 60GHz transceivers, and did it so that city type wireless communication cell backbone networks of 155.52Mbps ATM(OC-3) may be possible. The possible use of wireless backbone networks technology in a rainy day and a clear day was evaluated at 1Km data link distance. We can measured bit error rate(BER). BER is $10^{-11}$ at 155.52Mbps ATM(OC-3) in a clear day and $10^{-6}$ in a heavy rain more than 35mm per time. Also, we constructed wireless cell backbone networks distance to use several 60GHz transceivers and investigated data transmission rate between main center and local center of long distance. In proposed wireless cell backbone networks, the data throughput was approximately 80Mbit/sec. Therefore, if use transceiver, it is possible that city type ultra high speed wireless communication cell backbone networks construction of 100Mbps, 155.52Mbps, 622Mbps, 1Gbps and 1.2Gbps degrees.
Parenchyma of the cat pineal body consisted of pinealocytes and glial cells. The pinealocyte, predominant cell type, was characterized by having large mitochondria with pale matrix, abundant polyribosomes, moderately-developed Golgi apparatus, centrioles and occasional cilia. The pinealocyte had one thick and long cytoplasmic process at the one pole of the cell, and slender and shorter processes at the other pole, and in addition occasional short processes from the cell body. These processes contained longitudinally arranged microtubules, and a few mitochondria. Thick processes teminated as bulgings either in the intercellular process-rich area, or in the perivascular border which was formed by glial cell processes. These endings of pinealocyte processes had many small vesicles, mitochondria, and occasional dense bodies. Glial cells with abundant filaments of intermediate type and clear cytoplasmic matrix were fibrous astrocyte. Perikarya of the astrocytes had small and dense mitochondria, moderately developed Golgi apparatus, dense bodies and variable amount of intermediate filaments. Glial cell processes run through the intercellular spaces among the pinealocyte processes. Glial cell of protoplasmic type had no or a few filaments, but it had well-organized rough endoplasmic reticulum, dense mitochondria, well developed Golgi apparatus and many dense granules. Intercellular canaliculi formed by adjacent pinealocytes and glial cell processes were often noted. Within the parenchyma, sympathetic and parasympathetic axons and their endings were noted. These endings were present mostly in the intercellular spaces without having membrane specialization, however, in rare instances, ending with small clear and dense cored vesicles, and large dense cored vesicles formed specialized synapse with a pinealocyte process. Within the perivascular spaces nerve fibers and endings, Schwann cells and pericyte were noted. In rare case pinealocyte process penetrated into the perivascular space through the interuptions of glial border. These results suggest that pinealocyte of the cat has less significance in secretory function and is rather neural type of cell.
This review presents the status of our research in liquid crystal display (LCD) photo-aligning. We present the basic mechanisms of the photo-induced order in various photo-aligning materials and in azo-dye layers in particular and show that photo-aligning methods can provide a controllable pretilt angle and anchoring energy of the liquid crystal cell, as well as its high thermo and UV stability. The photo-aligning of various types of liquid crystal displays is also discussed.

Objective: To evaluate the radiological tumor response patterns and compare the response assessments based on immune-based therapeutics Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (iRECIST) and RECIST 1.1 in metastatic clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (mccRCC) patients treated with programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) inhibitors. Materials and Methods: All mccRCC patients treated with PD-1 inhibitors at Henan Cancer Hospital, China, between January 2018 and April 2019, were retrospectively studied. A total of 30 mccRCC patients (20 males and 10 females; mean age, 55.6 years; age range, 37-79 years) were analyzed. The target lesions were quantified on consecutive CT scans during therapy using iRECIST and RECIST 1.1. The tumor growth rate was calculated before and after therapy initiation. The response patterns were analyzed, and the differences in tumor response assessments of the two criteria were compared. The intra- and inter-observer variabilities of iRECIST and RECIST 1.1 were also analyzed. Results: The objective response rate throughout therapy was 50% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 32.1-67.9) based on iRECIST and 30% (95% CI: 13.6-46.4) based on RECIST 1.1. The time-to-progression (TTP) based on iRECIST was longer than that based on RECIST 1.1 (median TTP: not reached vs. 170 days, p = 0.04). iRECIST and RECIST 1.1 were discordant in 8 cases, which were evaluated as immune-unconfirmed PD based on iRECIST and PD based on RECIST 1.1. Six patients (20%, 6/30) had pseudoprogression based on iRECIST, of which four demonstrated early pseudoprogression and two had delayed pseudoprogression. Significant differences in the tumor response assessments based on the two criteria were observed (p < 0.001). No patients demonstrated hyperprogression during the study period. Conclusion: Our study confirmed that the iRECIST criteria are more capable of capturing immune-related atypical responses during immunotherapy, whereas conventional RECIST 1.1 may underestimate the benefit of PD-1 inhibitors. Pseudoprogression is not rare in mccRCC patients during PD-1 inhibitor therapy, and it may last for more than the recommended maximum of 8 weeks, indicating a limitation of the current strategy for immune response monitoring.
In this study, we proposed a three-dimensional dynamic model under the diffuse interface description for the single crawling cell. From the developed model, we described the clear evolution processes for crawling neutrophil and assessed the reliable quantitative chemotactic property, which confirmed the high possibility of adequate predictions. To establish the system considering of multiple mechanisms such as, diffusion, chemotaxis, and interaction with surface, a diffuse interface model is employed.
In the past it was thought that autoimmunity is mediated by antibodies and immune complexes. It has now become clear that many diseases, especially tissue specific, are T cell mediated or at least T cell dependent. The pathogenesis of cell-mediated autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, uveitis, diabetes, arthritis, and others, is thought to be in a large measure driven by interferon-gamma-producing antigen-specific T cells polarized toward the Th1 phenotype. We experienced a case of benign clear cell tumor, a very rare form of lung tumor. A forty-year-old male complained of non-specific right flank pain for 1 month prior to admission. Under the suspicion of a benign lesion, an exploratory thoracotomy was done. Since the first case was reported in 1963 by Leibow and Castleman, about 40 cases have been reported worldwide by 1993. Basically it was believed to be a benign lesion but in certain cases, it showed malignant behavior. Simple surgical excision is satisfactory to this benign lesion. But close long-term follow up is mandatory. We report this first case in Korea with the review of literature.
A case of squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid gland associated with esophageal carcinoma is presented A squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid gland is rare and is prognosis is poor. The histogenesis of squamous cell carcinoma is not clear, but at present, it is believed that most cases arise from the follicular epithelium It is very important to know whether squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid is primary or secondary. Thus, the possibility of squamous cell carcinoma in the thyroid being the result of a metastasis or extension from a primary tumor in the trachea or esophagus must always be ruled out and intensive evaluation should be required to confirm the diagnosis of this disease. We report a squamous cell carcinoma of the thyroid associated with esophageal cancer with brief review of literature.
It is becoming more and more clear that each cell, even those of the same type, has a unique identity. This sophistication and the diversity of cell types in tissue are what are pushing the necessity for spatially distributed omics at the single-cell (SC) level. Single-cell chemical assessment, which also provides considerable insight into biological, clinical, pharmacodynamic, pathological, and toxicity studies, is crucial to the investigation of cellular omics (genomics, metabolomics, etc.). Mass spectrometry (MS) as a tool to image and profile single cells and subcellular organelles facilitates novel technical expertise for biochemical and biomedical research, such as assessing the intracellular distribution of drugs and the biochemical diversity of cellular populations. It has been illustrated that ambient mass spectrometry (AMS) is a valuable tool for the rapid, straightforward, and simple analysis of cellular and sub-cellular constituents and metabolites in their native state. This short review examines the advances in ambient mass spectrometry (AMS) and ambient mass spectrometry imaging (AMSI) on single-cell analysis that have been authored in recent years. The discussion also touches on typical single-cell AMS assessments and implementations.
This study was conducted to establish whether the preoperative platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) is predictive of survival of women with ovarian clear cell carcinoma (OCCC). A PLR > 300 was deemed elevated. Progression-free survival (PFS) was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method. Cox proportional hazard analysis was used to determine the independent effect of PLR. Thirty-six patients were reviewed. Elevated PLRs were more commonly noted in patients with an advanced vs an early stage of disease (88.9% vs 11.1%). Women with elevated PLR carried a higher rate of disease progression during primary therapy than that those in the normal PLR group (44.4 vs 22.2%). The median PFS for patients with elevated PLR was notably worse than that for patients with normal PLR (10 vs 34 months). Despite the impact of elevated PLR on PFS, it was found to be marginally significant when controlling for commonly applied prognostic markers. It, however, trended toward significance (HR=4.76; 95%CI, 0.95-23.8). In conclusion, an elevated PLR appears to be directly associated with adverse survival rather than being a surrogate for other indicators of a poor prognosis. PLR may be a useful biomarker for predicting survival of women with OCCC and merits further large-scale studies.
