This study aimed to analyze the impact of importance and fulfillment(satisfaction) factors of menu quality on customers' intent of revisit of Japanese restaurants, so that it could provide information helpful to build up detailed marketing strategy and present considerations for management's higher sales amount and more efficient business results as well. Importance on menu quality scored higher level than fulfillment on the whole in Japanese restaurants. Notably, in regard to attributes of menu quality, it was found that respondents put higher stress on flavor, nutrition, cleanliness and freshness than anything else. In terms of IPA analysis on Japanese cuisine menu quality, it was noteworthy that the items with high importance but low fulfillment included menu price as an attribute for menu quality, although it was not shown in menu-specific items. In the survey on the associations between fulfillment(customer satisfaction) and intent of revisit, it was found that factors of customer satisfaction included 'trimness of dishes', 'information', 'appropriateness' and 'economic affordable' Out of these factors, it was noted that both 'trimness' and 'economic affordable' had significant effects on customer satisfaction at the significance level ranging from p<0.05 to p<0.001.
In this study, the bacterial contamination level of equipments and devices in the nuclear medicine department of a university hospital was investigated. CNS was detected from the sample collected from the door opening button of the nuclear medicine department. Bacillus sp. was detected from the table and CNS with Bacillus sp. were detected from the control button at the PET-CT room no.1. Also, CNS was detected from the table and the control button at the PET-CT room no.2. In the distribution room no.1, CNS and Bacillus sp. were detected while CNS being detected from the distribution room no.2 and CNS with Bacillus sp. being detected from the distribution room no.3. In the injection room, Enterrococcus faecium and Pontoea sp. were detected. On the table of the ecsomatics room, Pontoea sp. was detected. Bacillus sp. was detected from the inside of the syringe Pb shield and CNS was detected from the outside. Enterrococcus faecium was detected from the Gamma camera table and Bacillus sp. was detected from the door grip. On the chair at the patient waiting room, Pseudomonas aeruginosa abd Bacillus sp. were detected. Therefore, it was understood that infection should be prevented by securely sterilizing examination devices after each examination, maintaining cleanliness by regular sterilization of waiting chairs and such objects with a number of direct contacts with patients, and infection education for the features of nuclear department.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to investigate the variables that lead consumers to visit traditional markets and buy market goods. Thus, the current research examined the relationship between satisfaction and return intention as among the factors influencing loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted to examine the effects of the perceived level of factors on loyalty and how it influenced consumers' visits to traditional markets in 125 adult adolescents and women living in Mok-po area. The results of the questionnaire were obtained. The statistical data of the questionnaire were verified by SPSS. Results - In this study, consumers' perception level of eight loyalty factors can be perceived by the traditional Korean market. The empirical analysis is summarized as follows. First, by selecting five representative variables influencing intention to return to traditional markets, Mok-po area consumers were affected by the intention to revisit according to the intensity of recognition level among these variables. Second, the higher the perceived level of product price, quality of access (accessibility) among the factors that consumers perceive as important factors in visiting traditional markets were heightened. Third, Mokpo residents are aware of the main important factors of visiting the market such as receiving a friendly atmosphere (image) about traditional market, market environment (hygiene and cleanliness), connection with the local economy, and customer service such as kindness, refund and return. These loyalty factors did not affect consumers' intention to revisit. In other words, image, environment, regional economic linkage, and these factors did not have a positive effect on revisit intention. Conclusions - The empirical analysis of this study suggests that factors that directly affect loyalty among the key factors that play a major role in visiting traditional markets should be identified and developed as loyalty factors. It is necessary to identify the key factors influencing the satisfaction and loyalty of traditional market users, and operate a system that systematically and comprehensively manages and evaluates them. In order to do this, the government, the local governments, and related organizations should regularly conduct loyalty and satisfaction surveys on visa recognition levels and establish strategies for dramatic improvement measures.
This study aimed to investigate the images that affect general travel behavior and satisfaction of eco-tourists of Section seven of Jeju Olle-gil and to give eco-tourists preferred images to newly constructed eco-tour sections. Adjectives were selected to evaluate images, and for analysis, a survey was carried out with 132 persons who have toured 7 section of Jeju Olle-gil. On this survey, basic travel type, overall satisfaction, image before and after experience, age, gender, satisfaction level and accompanying type were inquired. 81(61.4%) knew section 7 of Jeju Olle-gil 'in advance', and 58(39.1%), which takes up the largest portion in this question, came to choose section 7 by a word of mouth. 95(71.9%) answered that they stayed 2 nights and 3 days, and 55(41.7%) answered that they stayed at a pension as accommodation. As for accompanying type, 34(25.7%) answered they accompanied family and relatives. As for the decision of visit, 60(45.5%) replied that they decided one month prior to the visit. And as for the purpose of visit, 63 (33.8%) replied they visited to appreciate nature. The adjectives that demonstrate overall satisfaction and significance level of the tourists were 'placid', 'refreshing', 'living', 'mountainous' and 'green'. As for the satisfaction level, people were satisfied with its environment, cleanliness level and direction boards. The types of section preferred by the tourists were clay pavements, followed by sand-masa soil mixture pavement and wooden deck pavement. 'Oidolgae' section was selected as the representative section, and 10:00a.m.~12:00p.m. was preferred as visiting time. And it is also proved that people were positive in appointing photo zones.
A survey was implemented to suggest basic data for assuring the safety of cooked foods in foodbank operations. A questionnaire consisted of total 48 items including general characteristics, basic inputs and perceived importance/performance of sanitary management. One hundred twenty-eight responses among the 267 nationwide foodbanks were used for the statistical analysis. About forty-one percent of foodbanks was operated a period of 1-3 years and 43.0% of them were managed by social welfare organizations. The number of staff was only 0.5 person per operation with the whole responsibility and 1.0 with additional work, and thus most of the work was managed by volunteers. Job satisfaction was shown to be moderate and was affected by specialty and salary mostly. The facilities and equipment in foodbanks were not enough to operate and freezers/refrigerators were the top priority to supplement. Most of the respondents attended a nationwide level sanitary education program (79.7%); but complained not enough frequency of education (90%). The sanitary status of the donated foods was considered as satisfactory but some safety practices had to be improved, including personnel expenses and operating costs in the district level, a sanitary awareness of the donors and a general management of the facilities arid equipment. An assessment on sanitary management resulted in an overall average of 4.45 out of 5 points in importance and 3.85 in performance showing the high level of sanitation perception in foodbank managers. From the IPA analysis, the fields found to be improved were sanitation management during cooking and temperature control as well as cleanliness and sanitation of both transport vehicle and refrigerator/freezer. To secure the food safety in foodbanks, consequently, personnel support, supplement of facilities and equipment, intense sanitation education and development of sanitation management program is needed.
This study evaluates the water quality of the river near the alpine farmland in the upper Naerin stream, which is a typical stream of the upper Bukhan River with muddy water generation, by the flow examination, it aims to estimate the characteristics of nonpoint sources flowing out from the investigated area and figure out effective methods to reduce them. According to the result of water quality examination, the average BOD of the area not affected by the cultivated land among the areas of the upper Naerin River was 0.47mg/l, and total phosphorous was 0.007mg/l; thus, it maintained the cleanliness level of Ia. The average BOD of the area with the alpine farmland was 0.52mg/l, which was similar to the one of the non-cultivated land. But total phosphorous concentration was 0.023mg/l, which was more than three times higher than the area belonging to level II due to the effect of fertilizer ingredients discharged from the cultivated land. About the loadings of the investigated area generated from each of the pollution sources, BOD was 878.5kg/day and total phosphorous was 79.7kg/day. Moreover, for the load density, BOD was $2.22kg/day.km^2$ and total phosphorous was shown as $0.20kg/day.km^2$. Regarding the rates generated from nonpoint sources like land among the loadings per pollution sources, BOD was 54%, total nitrogen was 91%, and total phosphorous was 73.4%. Therefore, it was shown that most of the nutrients were produced from the nonpoint sources. The level of BOD runoff loading in the Jaun River area, where nonpoint sources were mainly generated, was 37.1kg/day and total phosphorous was 1.33kg/day. The flow rates to the generated amount were estimated as 10.5% and 4.7% each.
A study on housing and management of dairy cows was conducted in three villages. All activities of husbandry related to the housing and the condition of the cows were observed and farmers were interviewed using a questionnaire. The main type of housing was a tie stall mostly in the back yard area with a gable or shed type roof. Inside the shed the temperature ranged from 17 to $29^{\circ}C$ and the relative humidity ranged from 62 to 73%. Drainage and manure handling was poor which lead to poor cleanliness of the stables and animal skins. The floor space was mostly wide and the roof level was low (less than 2.5 m). The slope of the floor (1-3%) was sufficient, the roughness of the floor was of medium quality. The shape and size of the feed trough was good with a surface of mostly irregular forms. Concentrate was mixed with water and offered in liquid form in pails made from plastic or from parts of rubber car tires. Hoof length was too long which could lead to unstable position and self injury. It is concluded that the housing conditions of dairy cattle need to be improved in order to improve the condition of the animals and the production performance.
The main aim of the paper is to provide an empirical analysis on patient satisfaction as an indicator of service quality in Malaysian public hospitals. Self-administered questionnaires were administered to patients by convenience sampling. Two sets of questionnaires were used, one for inpatient and another one set for outpatient. Selection of hospitals was made according to states in Peninsular Malaysia. 23 hospitals covering all state level hospitals, the National Referral Centre and selected district hospitals were chosen as respondent hospitals. Two dimensions of service quality emerged, namely clinical and physical dimension of service. Both outpatient and inpatient were found to be more satisfied with clinical dimension of service than physical dimension. For outpatient satisfaction, there was positive correlation between waiting time and patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction was also found to be higher in the smaller district hospitals than in the larger state hospitals. For clinical dimension of service, patients were satisfied with the services of doctors and nurses, while for physical dimension of service, patients were satisfied with the cleanliness of the facilities. The ability of the research to be conducted by random sampling was inhibited by the reluctance of patients to cooperate, which led to the use of convenience sampling. Studies have also shown that patients are reluctant to express their feelings on services provided by their caregivers. The study provides primary data for a nationwide study on patient satisfaction in Malaysian public hospitals, for both inpatient and outpatient.
The methods for the minimization of fresh water consumption, waste water generation and water contamination have been greatly investigated and developed for last ten years. Recently, the rising cost of waste water treatment and the more strict environmental regulation lead to the higher demand of more efficient and systematic methods for process water management. The water reuse technology, which not only reduce the process water needs but also minimize waste water generation within the process, could be one of most efficient way for current demand. In this study, the practical way for reduction of water pollution and optimal reuse or recycle of process water in a newsprint mill was investigated by using a simulation model. The result of computer simulation showed that the COD level of approach system could be reduced by 50% after the stock concentration at the 2nd disc filter was increased upto 30%. The application of WRDF(Wrinkled Rotary Drum Filter) to the newsprint mill was carried out with pilot scale. The process water treated by WRDF had enough cleanliness to substitute the forming fabric shower water with the PDF water, which could result in the 30% reduction in fresh water consumption.
The purpose of this study was to investigate eating-out behavior patterns of university students. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 610 university students(male : 41.5%, female: 58.5%). The main results are as follows: The motivation of eating out for the university students was the highest to take care of a meal, the second motivation was the social reason for the male student, but accomodate diversion for the female student. The time of eating-out was the highest from 31 minutes to 60 minutes. The eating-out cost of one time was highest from 5,000 won to 10,000 won. The eating-out cost of one month was the highest from 50,000 won to 100,000 won. The both male and female students were favorite of the korean foods. The left-over foods were higher female students compared with male students. The style of left-over foods was highest the korean foods. The payment style was high the most student by turns. The frequency of eating-out was high male students compared with female students as below (lunch>dinner>breakfast). The criteria for the selecting eating-out level was appeared as below (Taste>Cleanliness and hygiene>Kindness and good service>Price>Atmosphere>Variety of menu>Promptness of service>Convenient location>Quantity of food>Reputation).
