Multiple linear regression and stepwise regression were conducted after the construct validity and reliability. The results can be summarized as follows: (1) Physical environmental factors in coffee shops consists of 5 dimensions such as facility aesthetics, cleanliness, ambiance, layout, and internet environment. (2) Facility aesthetics, ambiance, and internet environment had an influence on brand loyalty. (3) The effects of cleanliness and layout on brand loyalty, were not significant on multivariate analysis. • The aim of this study was to provide strategic implications for the coffee market in which competition got severer through IPA analysis based on the attributes of selection of a specialized franchise coffee shop. The results of a positive analysis conducted with undergraduates in their twenties were as follows: According to the evaluation of the importance of the attributes of selection of a specialized coffee shop, the most important were 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop (6.09)' and 'taste and quality of the menu (coffee) (6.09)'. According to the performance analysis, those showing the highest performance were 'brand image (4.92)' and 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop (4.92)'. According to the result of IPA analysis, what customers regarded as being the most important were 'taste and quality of the menu (coffee)', 'kindness of the staff', and 'cleanliness and hygienic facilities inside the shop', and, in fact, they showed great performances as well. However, 'price of the menu (coffee)' was regarded as being important but did not indicate a great performance; therefore, they showed dissatisfaction with it. Although they did not think 'environment around the shop', 'brand image', 'brand recognition' or 'interior size and scale of the shop' were important, the attributes did not appear to show great performances. Therefore, we need constant maintenance strate gies regarding the fact that consumers are considered to be very important for evaluation, and should make efforts to change the price in advance.

  • Magnesium and its alloys are being applied to various kinds of industrial fields, especially their use on automotive parts and electronic part. These parts are manufactured mainly through diecasting process and magnesium ingots are used as raw materials. In the case that ingot quality is not secured, massive casting defects can occur and some manufactures can be damaged by the defects. This study is to evaluate ingots' cleanliness of magnesium alloys. It includes composition analysis by spectrometer, measurement of inclusion contents by SEM, brightness test on fractured surface and etc. Especially, the brightness test is a very easy and quick evaluation method. The brightness becomes low when the amount of oxides or inclusions on the surface increases. The brightness test data have been compared with those obtained from other methods for measuring the mount of impurities, which showed good relationship between the brightness and the others. Thus, the brightness test could be a promising method to measure the cleanliness of magnesium alloys.

  • Cleaning Processes are widely employed in the manufacturing processes of many industries and various environmental contaminants are generated during their operation. Thus, as the environmental and safety regulations are getting severer at home and abroad, it is indispensable that the existing cleaning agents which are causing environmental and safety problems should be replaced by the more environmentally-friendly alternative ones. In order to select alternative cleaning agents, it is necessary that their cleaning power is equivalent to or better than that of existing cleaning agents. However, the evaluation methods of cleaning power of industrial cleaning agents have not been established for comparison of cleanliness. In this study, various kinds of evaluation methods of cleanliness which can be utilized in the laboratory or in the industrial field are examined and their field application cases are reviewed and analyzed.

  • This study was conducted on a sampling of 700 mixed college students from seven different schools nationwide by written questionnaire to evaluate the value system of convenience foods among Korean college students. Korean students put value on the following categories of convenience foods in order; convenience, taste, price, appearance, appliance to daily life, variety, locality, nutritional value, originality, improvement required, cleanliness and tradition. Significant differences between the sexes occurred in categories as cleanliness and convenience, since females considered convenience foods as convenient but not so clean (safe to eat). This study also conducted factor analysis on 24 individual convenient foods. Noodles laid emphasis on nutritional value; where refrigerated foods, ready to eat (RE) side dishes, on-the-spot kimbab, and sandwiches focused on cleanliness. Noodles. cereal, and instant soup focused on price. Frozen pizza, noodles, retort, RE meat, ham, fish cakes were dependent on locality and traditionality. Noodles, instant food, and packed kimchi scored highly on convenience. Frozen fried rice, retort, instant porridge, instant rice, RE meat, cereal, instant soup, and RE side dishes on consumption on a regular basis. Cereal, refrigerated foods, and RE side dishes laid emphasis on taste. Noodles, instant rice, cereal, ham, and RE side dishes focused on variety. Based on the research of previous studies, it assumed that the selection attributes of students' cafeteria were menu, taste, price, and cleanliness. With 301 surveyed questionnaires, the study was carried out by AMOS 23.0 and the Structural Equation Model was used for examining the hypotheses as statistical method in this study. In consequence of the hypothesis test on the main effect, the factors such as the menu, taste, price and cleanliness were found to significantly affect satisfaction. Then, the moderating role of gender, age and allowance was analyzed. However, students' university cafeteria selection attributes differed depending on their allowance only. The path coefficients from menu to satisfaction were more significant in the group with a smaller allowance, while the path coefficient from price to satisfaction was more significant in the group with a larger allowance. The study analyzed that the effect of selection attribute of students' cafeteria on the satisfaction, and influence of students' allowance, and provide meaningful implications when they choose the attributes.

  • Purpose - Due to the increase in coffee consumption and competition, domestic coffee franchise companies are currently entering the overseas market. Therefore, coffee franchise companies are pursuing a variety of marketing strategies to meet customer needs and gain competitive advantage in overseas markets. From this perspective, overseas franchise companies need to ensure that their servicescapes meet the needs of their overseas customers. For these purposes, the study is to identify the impact servicescapes on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty focused on Global Coffee Franchise Company "C", which extended its business worldwide in Mongolia. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from customers who had visited the stores of 'C' company in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 435 valid questionnaires collected through online survey coded and analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 24 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - Firstly, seating comfort, facility aesthetics, and cleanliness, ambient conditions among servicescapes influenced customer satisfaction. Secondly, servicescapes didn't affect the loyalty directly. Third, customer satisfaction had positive effect on loyalty. Fourthly, cleanliness which was ranked lower in Korea had a great effect on customer satisfaction in Mongolia. Fifthly, IPMA(Importance-performance map analysis) shows that the importance of servicescapes is higher for women than for men, and facility aesthetics for female and cleanliness is the most important for male. Conclusions - The results of this study show that there is a positive (+) effect on customer satisfaction in order of cleanliness, ambient conditions, aesthetics, and seating comfort. Therefore, franchise companies considering or advancing into Mongolia should consider importance in order of cleanliness, ambient conditions and aesthetics when entering Mongolia market. For example, franchise managers should select Monday as a "clean day," and all merchants should spend all of their open hours and keep their stores clean in accordance with the head office manual. In addition, franchise managers need to hire a VMD (visual merchandising) experts to build up a physical environment that will effectively highlight the space-specific display of the store so that Mongolian local customers can have a satisfactory climate and aesthetics. And, the IMPA analysis between servicescapes and customer satisfaction shows that women are more susceptible to servicescapes than men. Especially, in the case of women, the importance of esthetics is high, but the performance is low. Thus, if the aesthetics are actively improved, customer satisfaction can be effectively increased.
