Landsat을 이용한 담수호의 수질, 수리 특성 분석 (The Analysis of a Water Quality and Tidal Flow of a Frehshwater Lake Using Landsat Images)

  • Landsat-TM images were applied for evaluating the spatial variations of flow and water quality at the Saemankeum areas. For supervised classifications, the results from hydrodynamic modeling and water quality data were compared to the reflectance characteristics of the satellite images. Multiple regression analyses indicated that suspended sediment, transparency, salinity, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus showed a good relationship to the signature. Supervised classifications showed spatial variations of the water environments at the areas under construction. The results showed the satellite imagery may be applied for the project areas with a reasonable degree of accuracy.

유치원 유아의 모-자간 애착유형분류와 애착에 대한 유아기질의 영향 (Classifications of Attachment to Mother at Age 5 and 6 and the Relationship between Temperament and Attachment)

  • The purpose of the present study was to classify the attachment to mothers of kindergarten children based on a system for classifying attachment organization developed by Main and Cassidy(1988) and to examine the relationship of children's temperament with attachment. 32 children and their mothers were observed and videotaped in the strange situation. Mothers were administered the children's temperament questionnaire revised by Chun (1992). The data were analysed by t-test. The results showed similarity between the attachment classifications of Main and Cassidy (1988) and those of Korean children. These results can be considered partial validation of Main and Cassidy's classification system for the measurement of the attachment of 5-to 6-year-old Korean children. Children's temperament has significant correlation to the security of attachment.

한국 영아들과 미국 영아들의 애착 분포와 행동특성 비교 (The Distributions of Attachment Classifications and Attachment Behaviors of Korean Infants and American Infants)

  • To understand further the differences in the distribution of attachment classifications assigned to 12-15 month old infant raised in Korea(N=85) and the U.S.(N=104), detailed analyses of maternal and infant behavior during the Strange Situation was undertaken. Indices of infants' attachment behavior with their mothers and distress during separations were rated. The percentage of Korean infants classified as secure versus insecure mirrored the global distribution, however, fewer Korean babies were classified as avoidant, As predicted, secure Korean babies were less likely than secure U.S. babies to approach their mothers, maintain contact or show resistant behavior and more often displayed distress during the second separation from their mother. Resistant Korean babies, however, did not significantly differ from resistant U.S. babies with respect to their attachment behavior but more often displayed distress when left with a stranger. These findings are discussed with respect to cultural differences in caregiving.

  • Aerial videography techniques have been used to inventory conditions associated with grassland, forests, and agricultural crop production. Most recently, aerial videography has been used to verity satellite image classifications as part of the natural ecosystem survey. The objectives of this study were: (1) to use aerial video images of the study area, one part of Taean Seashore National Park, for the accuracy assessment, and (2) to determine the suitability of aerial videography as an accuracy assessment, of the land cover classification with Landsat-TM data. Video images were collected twice, summer and winter seasons, and divided into two kinds of images, wide angle and narrow angle images. Accuracy assessment methods include the calculation of the error matrix, the overall accuracy and kappa coefficient of agreement. This study indicates that aerial videography is an effective tool for accuracy assessment of the satellite image classifications of which features are relatively large and continuous. And it would be possible to overcome the limits of the present natural ecosystem survey method.

  • The objective of this study was to ad dress concepts and classifications of rural amenity that has been issued in rural development. There are varieties of amenity concepts which are established not only in foreign countries but also in domestic. The concepts amenity have evolved several different aspects depends upon the societal situation and needs by the time goes on. In this paper, amenity concepts were explored and classified to find a suitable rural amenity concept to Korea so that the concept can provide a basic framework for the rural development and rural amenity resources uses.

  • The kitchen utensils, a part of dietary life, are tableware and everything needed for cooking, storing foods, arranging and housekeeping. This study has been made on the classification in comparison with utility regarding both the shape and the quality of material. The classifications by the quality of material were ceramicware, woodenware, metalware and stoneware. he classifications by the utility were utensils for cooking, utensils for storing and keeping, utensils for arranging, utensils for grinding and utensils for special use. At the stage of migrating and gathering provisions they needed only simple utensils, but by cultivating, fixing their residence and producing crops they prepared and developed all sorts of kitchen utensils to serve various purposes, social rank, poverty and wealth, season and ceremony.

Analysis of Human Errors in Trip Cases of Korean NPPs

  • A total of 77 cases was identified to have human errors from a total of 255 trips occurred from 1978 to 1992 in Korean NPPs. The cases were analyzed to investigate how many human errors occurred on which work conditions to find out the areas of high priority for human error reduction. For the analysis of the 77 trip cases due to human errors, classifications were made for the following four categories ; plant systems, work situation, job types, and error types. Erroneous tasks critically influencing the plant trips were carefully identified and analyzed according to the classifications. Based on the results for the individual cases, the cases were counted for the classification items in each of the four categories, then also for the group of categories to investigate the relationships among the categories in aspects of human error occurrences. As results, the plant systems, work situations, and job types, and error types that are dominant in human errors related to the trips ore identified.

  • The Rock mass in which constructed a tunnel consist of the geological formations or the engineering rock type. Each layers are distinguished by the mineral, weathering and distributions of faults and Joints. Therefore, a tunneling design in rock mass starts from understanding and analyzing of the various geological engineering factors and then the engineering characteristics and distributions for each layers are determined to analysis and collection of the efficient informations. For this working, next two problems have to be solved. First, the layers in rock mass have to be classified and their distributions have to be defined. Second, the rock mass classifications and distributions based on the standard engineering classification have to be determined. Efficiently to approaching this two problems, the best solution is all geotechnical data are embodied to 3-D.
