수학 교육에서 실험 수업의 의의와 특성 (Meanings and Characteristics of Laboratory class in Mathematics Education)

  • 본 고는 실재 학교 상황 내에서 교사의 실재를 위한 전문성 향상 프로그램에의 기여를 위한 실험 수업을 제시하는 데 그 의의를 두고 있다. 이러한 전문성 신장을 위한 프로그램의 고안은 Dewey의 반영적 사고와 이론과 실재의 연계에 그 지향하는 바를 두고 있다. 또한 색심적 구저적 특성은 Garet, Porter, Desimone, Birman & Kwang (2001)이 제안한 전문성 신장을 위한 프로그램에 따라 시도되었으며, 교사들이 자신의 실재에 반영할 수 있고 자신의 교수-학습을 자가 생성(Carpenter & Leher, 1999)될 수 있게 함을 그 궁극적인 목적으로 둔 실험수업을 제안하였다.

유치원 4세반에서 간식과 점심시간의 교육적 의미 재조명 (Reinterpretation of Educational Meanings of Snack and Lunch Time in a Kindergarten Class of 4-Year-Old Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine educational meanings of snack and lunch time of 4-year-old children and their teachers in a kindergarten class. The study was done in the Class of 4-year-old children in S Kindergarten located in Songpa-gu, Seoul. And 30 children of this class, Teacher A who is the teacher in charge of the Class, and Teacher B who is the researcher and teacher in charge of it participated in it. The study was carried out by the ethnography method and data collection was done through participation observation, interviews, video and voice recording, and data collection of photography shooting. The results are as follow: First, the children had private conversations, shared their cultures, deepened and expanded their existing concepts, expressed their emotions and relieved their tension, and strengthened relations with friends during the snack and lunch time. Second, the teachers promoted conversation and communication, gave the opportunity that the children can set the lunch table by themselves and tried to make the snack and lunch time with the children by discussing what they are how they are operated with them together. In conclusion, the snack and lunch time can be more meaningful time for children when there are proper educational plans and support of teachers which are considered children's viewpoints.

기본간호학실습 수업의 문화기술지 연구 (An Ethnography on Fundamental Nursing Practice Class)

  • Purpose: Objectives of this study were to identify and describe cultural meaning for nursing students in the class in fundamental nursing practice. Methods: Data were collected from November 2016 to May 2017 included focus group interviews and participants observation. The key informants in this study included 23 nursing students divided into 3 focus groups who had taken the course in fundamental nursing practice in university U and university S in Kyungpook, and university D in Jeonnam. Interviews continued until no new information could be identified from transcripts. Data were analyzed using the taxonomic analysis method developed by Spradley. Results: Based on the data acquired from the interviews, cultural domains in the class "fundamental nursing practice" were classified as 'community oriented activities', 'learning and playing space', 'relationship of difference and discrimination', 'time for present and future'. Conclusion: The culture in the class "fundamental nursing practice" could be summarized as 'non-standardized learning with team dynamics'. Also nursing students learned about a small society whose members are becoming nurses. Results indicate that it is critical for professors to understand students' values, beliefs and their attitude in order to aid in adjustment to class.

Brief description of 18 newly recorded ciliate species from soil and inland waters(Protozoa, Ciliophora) in South Korea

  • Ciliates are a speciose protozoan group and their diversity is still not well investigated in Korea. From our field surveys, 18 unrecorded ciliate species were collected from a total of nine localities in Korea. The field surveys were conducted in 2018 and 2019, and the unrecorded ciliates were found from terrestrial (moss and soil samples) and inland water (river and lagoon samples) habitats. The morphology of these ciliates was studied using the observation of living and silver impregnated (protargol) specimens. The present species belong to five classes as follows: 1) class Spirotrichea - Gonostomum kuehnelti, Quadristicha setigera, Lamtostyla decorata, L. islandica, L. longa, Anteholosticha brachysticha, Pseudobirojimia muscorum; 2) class Litostomatea - Apocoriplites lajacola, Epispathidium amphoriforme, Protospathidium muscicola, Phialinides australis, Paraenchelys wenzeli, Rimaleptus similis; 3) class Nassophorea - Drepanomonas revoluta; 4) class Colpodea - Bryometopus triquetrus; and 5) class Oligohymenophorea - Cyclidium glaucoma, Epistylis pygmaeum, Pseudovorticella vestita. The globular macronuclear nodules of P. vestita were observed for the first time in the Korean population.

융합 수업 프로그램에서 나타나는 초등 수학 영재들의 수학적 창의성과 컴퓨팅 사고 분석 (An Analysis on the Mathematical Creativity and Computational Thinking of Elementary School Mathematical Gifted Students in the Convergence Class Programs)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical creativity and computational thinking of mathematically gifted elementary students through a convergence class using programming and to identify what it means to provide the convergence class using Python for the mathematical creativity and computational thinking of mathematically gifted elementary students. To this end, the content of the nine sessions of the Python-applied convergence programs were developed, exploratory and heuristic case study was conducted to observe and analyze the mathematical creativity and computational thinking of mathematically gifted elementary students. The subject of this study was a single group of sixteen students from the mathematics and science gifted class, and the content of the nine sessions of the Python convergence class was recorded on their tablets. Additional data was collected through audio recording, observation. In fact, in order to solve a given problem creatively, students not only naturally organized and formalized existing mathematical concepts, mathematical symbols, and programming instructions, but also showed divergent thinking to solve problems flexibly from various perspectives. In addition, students experienced abstraction, iterative thinking, and critical thinking through activities to remove unnecessary elements, extract key elements, analyze mathematical concepts, and decompose problems into small components, and math gifted students showed a sense of achievement and challenge.

  • This study explored at the potentials of exhibition appreciation classes using the metaverse platform, and identified what types of interactions could occur when elementary students participate in the exhibition appreciation education using metaverse platform. We had a user observation research and FGI through implementation of actual elementary class and we analyzed problematic experiences from the viewpoint of user to content and user to user interaction. As a result, fifteen UX improvements were derived by Delphi technique for solving the problematic experiences and improving learner's interactivity.

  • This study investigates the results of planning high school facility in accordance with the scope of the 7th educational curriculum by employing user satisfaction methodology. A high school in On-Yang, built recently to fulfill the objective of the curriculum was investigated in detail. Structured interview survey on both students and teachers were done while observation of the entire facility was carried out at the same time. Based on analysis of the interview and the observation, questions were developed, and subsequently questionnaire surveys, focused on how satisfied the students were regarding the school facility and what improvements could be made, were completed. The findings suggest that the degree of variation in planning class room should be employed considerably, as well as the efficiency of route among the facility blocks. Aspects of the other planning factors such as storey height, location of doors and windows, and equipments regarding the purpose of class room are additionally discussed.

III급 부정교합의 치료전략 (Treatment strategies on Class III malocclusion based on Long term follow up study)

  • 저자는 성장기 III급 부정교합자의 치료후 성장완료시까지 장기관찰 기록을 통하여 III급 부정교합치료 전략 수립에 도움이 되는 유용한 정보를 얻었다. 장기 관찰 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있었다. 첫째, 전치부 반대교합의 조기 개선시에 상악에서 상당한 전방성장이 많은 증례에서 관찰되었다. 둘째, 악골에 대한 정형적 치료에 의한 성장조절은 장기적인 관점에서 제한적인 효과만 인정되었다. 셋째, 반대교합을 가진 어린 환자에서 얻은 어떤 자료도 장기적인 관점에서 그 환자의 치료후 안정성을 예측할 수 있는 것은 없었다. 그러나 gonial angle은 어느 정도 예측의 가능성을 보였다. 넷째, 성장이 된 연령에서 하악에 대한 정형적 후방력이나 하악의 급작스런 위치 변화는 악관절에 좋지 못한 영향을 줄 수 있었다. 따라서 저자는 다음과 같이 III급 치료 전략을 제시한다. ${\cdot}$반대교합은 가능하다면 조기에 개선하는 것이 좋으며, 정형적 치료는 10세 이전에 1-2년 정도 사용하는 것이 좋겠다. ${\cdot}$ 이후에 바로 phase II 치료에 들어가지 말고 성장이 어느 정도 끝나는 시점까지 기다린다. 즉 여자는 14세, 남자는 17세 경까지 기다린 후에 교정치료로 마무리할 것인지 악교정 수술을 할 것인지 결정한다. 관찰 기간 동안에 성장에 영향을 줄 수 있는 기도문제, 혀자세, 습관, 제3대구치의 발육 등을 감독하고, 성장에 관한 자료를 채득한다. 이렇게 하므로서 앞에서 관찰한 치료 완료 후의 재발로 인한 재치료 문제를 줄일 수 있고,실제적인 치료기간을 단축할 수 있어 환자나 술자에게 모두 유익하다고 생각한다.

유아교육과 재학생들의 현장견학 전·후의 인식변화에 대한 비교 연구 (A Study of the change of the recognition before and after the field trip for the students of early childhood)

  • 현장견학은 현장에서 이루어지는 학습으로서 현장에서 얻을 수 있는 생생한 체험은 학교의 강의실 수업에서는 도저히 얻을 수 없는 교육적 가치를 제공한다. 유아교육 기관의 예비교사 지망생들인 유아교육과 재학생들의 현장견학이 유아 교육과 신입생인 1학년 학생들과 교사교육을 1년간 받은 2학년 학생들 간에 자신들의 전공에 대한 견해와 교육적 사고에 어떠한 변화와 도움을 주는지를 비교해 보았다. 그리고 견학을 나가기 전과 견학 후에 교육현장 즉 어린이 집과 유치원에서 이루어지는 교육에 대한 인식과 안목에 어떠한 변화가 있는지를 조사하고 분석하여 현장견학이 단순히 구경하는 차원이 아닌 교육현장의 현실을 직접 체험하여 현장에 대한 이해를 넓힐 수 있으며 직접적인 자료를 얻을 수 있고 관찰을 통한 교육적 경험을 얻을 수 있는 체험학습으로서의 가치를 확인하므로 대안적 교육방법으로서 적극적으로 활용하고 최대한 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하기 위하여 본 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과 현장견학이 재학 중인 예비교사들이 현장에 대한 이해를 높이고 자신의 전공에 대한 현실적인 문제를 이해하는데 크게 도움이 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
