건축구조용 저항복 고장력강 Beam-Column의 구조특성 (Structural Properties of High-Strength and Low-Yield-Steel Beam-Column for High-Rise Architecture Structure)

  • 최근 건축구조물의 고층화 및 단면크기의 증대 때문에, 600MPa급 이상의 고강도 후판강재의 개발이 활발하다. 그러나 국내에서 연구되는 이러한 강재는 높은 설계기준강도와 높은 항복비로 인하여 사용이 제한적일 우려가 있다. 그래서 이 연구에서는 일본에서 개발된 저항복강 600MPa급 강재에 대한 기계적 성능을 기본으로 하여, 축력과 휨모멘트를 받는 beam-column의 단조재하실험결과를 이용하여, 연강처럼 건축물에 이용이 가능한지, 그 구조적 특성을 검증한다. 따라서, 이 연구에서는 현재 국내 시험생산된 유사 고강도 강재의 실용적 연구의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.

안드로이드 환경에서 자바 리플렉션과 동적 로딩을 이용한 코드 은닉법 (A Code Concealment Method using Java Reflection and Dynamic Loading in Android)

  • 본 논문은 기존에 널리 사용되는 바이트코드(bytecode) 중심의 안드로이드 어플리케이션 코드 난독화 방법과 달리 임의의 안드로이드 어플리케이션의 DEX 파일 자체를 추출하여 암호화하고, 암호화한 파일을 임의의 폴더에 저장한 후 코드를 수행하기 위한 로더 앱을 만드는 방법을 제시한다. 이벤트 처리 정보를 은닉하기 위하여, 로더 앱 내부의 암호화된 DEX 파일은 원본 코드와 Manifest 정보 일부를 포함한다. 로더 앱의 Manifest는 원본 앱의 Manifest 정보 중에서 암호화된 클래스에 포함되지 않은 정보만을 기재하였다. 제안기법을 사용시, 첫째로 공격자는 백신을 우회하기 위해 난독화된 코드를 포함한 악성코드 제작이 가능하고, 둘째로 프로그램 제작자의 입장에서는 제안기법을 이용하여 저작권 보호를 위해 핵심 알고리즘을 은폐하는 어플리케이션 제작이 가능하다. 안드로이드 버전 4.4.2(Kitkat)에서 프로토타입을 구현하고 바이러스 토탈을 이용하여 악성코드 난독화 능력을 점검해서 제안 기법의 실효성을 보였다.

Study of Specific energy of mechanical destruction of ice for calculation of ice load on ships and offshore structures

  • Analysis of scenarios of transportation oil and gas which produced in the Arctic and others cold seas shows that in the near-term there will be a significant increase of tonnage of tankers for oil and gas and number of ships which should be exploited in difficult ice conditions. For the construction of ice-resistant structures (IRS) intended for production of oil and gas and transportation of these products at ice-class vessels, calculating the load from ice to board the ship and on surface of supports of the platforms are the actuality and urgent tasks. These tasks have one basis in both cases: at beginning of the contact occurs fracture of edge of ice, then occurs compressing of rubble shattered of ice, then they extruding from contact area, after this next layer of ice begin to destruct. At calculating the strength of plating and elements construct of vessels, icebreakers and ice-resistant platforms the specific energy of mechanical destruction ice ${\epsilon}_{cr}$ is an important parameter. For the whole period of study of physical and mechanical characteristics of sea ice have been not many experimental studies various researchers to obtain numerical values of this energetic characteristic of the strength of ice by a method called Ball Drop Test. This study shows that the destruction of the ice from dynamic loading in zone of contact occurs in several cycles, and the ice destructed with a minimum numerical values of ${\epsilon}_{cr}$. The author offer this energy characteristic to take as a base value for the calculation of ice load on ships and offshore structures.

한국의 경사지 밭의 토양 및 물의 보전 관리 전략 (Management Strategies to Conserve Soil and Water Qualities in the Sloping Uplands in Korea)

  • Soils in the sloping uplands in Korea are subject to intensive land use with high input of agrochemicals and are vulnerable to soil erosion. Development of the environmentally sound land management strategy is essential for a sustainable production system in the sloping upland. This report addresses the status of upland agriculture and the best management practices for the uplands toward the sustainable agriculture. More than 60% of Korean lands are forest and only 21% are cultivating paddy and upland. Uplands are about 7% of the total lands and about 62% of the uplands are in the slopes higher than 7%. Due to the site-specificity of the upland, many managerial and environmental problems are occurring, such as severe erosion, shallow surface soils with rocky fragments, and loadings of non-point source (NPS) contaminants into the watershed. Based on the field trials, most of the sloping uplands were classified as Suitability Class III-V and the major limiting factor was slope and rock fragments. Due to this, soils were over-applied with N fertilizer, even though N rate was the recommendation. This resulted in decreases in yield, degradation of soil quality and increases in N loading to the leachate. Various case studies drew management practices toward sustainable production systems. The suggested BMP on the managerial, vegetative, and structural options were to practice buffer strips along the edges of fields and streams, winter cover crop, contour and mulching farming, detention weir, diversion drains, grassed waterway, and slope arrangement. With these options, conservation effects such as reductions in raindrop impact, flow velocity, runoff and sediment loss, and rill and gully erosion were observed. The proper management practice is a key element of the conservation of the soil and water in the sloping upland.

  • 군 전술정보통신체계(TICN: Tactical Information and Communication Network)는 이동기지국시스템(MSAP: Mobile Subscriber Access Point)을 활용하여 음성 및 데이터 등 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공한다. 이때 소용량 무선전송체계와 대용량 무선전송체계를 통해 외부전송로를 구성하게 된다. 각 무선전송체계의 통신기기들은 전술차량에 탑재되고 전술차량에 공급전원이 통합전원제어장치로 절체 될 때 전원차단을 예방하기 위해 2차전지가 사용된다. 본 논문은 이동기지국시스템 통합제어장치 배터리 충전용 무선전력전송기기를 장하분배법을 이용하여 기본 설계하고 공극에 의한 설계 변수인 1차 측 권선 수와 코어 재질선정을 FEM(Finite Elements Method) 해석을 통해 확인하였다.

동북아 해군력 군비경쟁 (Naval Arms Race in Northeast Asia)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the status of naval arms race in Northeast Asia. To this end, the scope of the research was limited to national security strategies, maritime strategies and naval strengthening of the United States, China, Russia and Japan. The major powers' active maritime strategies and naval arms race give some strategic implications to the Republic of Korea Navy as follows. First, China and Japan, unlike the past, are actively using submarines in offshore waters including the Korean Peninsula. Therefore, the ROK Navy must successfully promote the Jangbogo-III-class submarine, which is currently constructed, and get a nuclear-powered submarine and P-8 MPA capable of long-range and long-time operations to enhance ASW capability. Second, North Korea's current building submarines capable of loading SLBMs and SLBMs are a new threat to the ROK Navy. The current building KAMD, which focuses on terminal phase defense, cannot effectively respond to North Korea's SLBMs and should be converted to a multi-layered defense system including SM-3 at a mid-course phase. Third, as China militarizes the South China Sea, the instability of the South China Sea is growing. Therefore, the ROK Navy should strengthen its maritime cooperation with the regional countries such as Japan and ASEAN navies to protect SLOC. In conclusion, the ROK Navy needs to build a strong naval power to keep in mind that the 21st century naval rivalry in Northeast Asia is accelerating. The navy must do one's best to protect national strategic and vital interests by strengthening cooperation with regional countries. South Korea is also accelerating its defense reforms in accordance with the pattern of future warfare and the ROK Navy do one's best to have a balanced naval capability capable of actively operating in the offshore waters.

  • KIER has been developing a Ru-based preferential oxidation catalysts and a novel fuel processing system to provide hydrogen rich gas to residential PEMFCs system. The catalytic activity of Ru-based catalysts was investigated at different Ru loading amount and different support structure. The obtained result indicated that 2 wt% loaded Ru-based catalyst supported on ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$ showed high activity in low temperature range and suppressed the methanation reaction. The developed prototype fuel processor showed thermal efficiency of 78% as a HHV basis with methane conversion of 92%. CO concentration below 10 ppm in the produced gas is achieved with separate preferential oxidation unit under the condition of $[O_2]/[CO]=2.0$. The partial load operation have been carried out to test the performance of fuel processor from 40% to 80% load, showing stable methane conversion and CO concentration below 10 ppm. The durability test for the daily start-stop and 8 h operation procedure is under investigation and shows no deterioration of its performance after 50 start-stop cycles.   • 풍력터빈 블레이드는 바람의 운동에너지를 기계적 에너지로 변환하는 장치로써 풍력발전시스템의 출력성능, 에너지변환효율, 하중 및 동적 안정성에 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 주요부품으로 분류된다. 따라서 최적의 블레이드 설계결과를 얻기 위해서는 시스템 특성이 고려된 공력-구조 통합설계가 중요하며, 국제표준 또는 인증기관의 가이드라인에 따른 설계평가를 통해 구조건전성의 검증이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 블레이드 설계 인증 시 요구되는 평가항목 및 판정기준에 대한 상세해설과, (사)한국선급의 인증기준에 따른 2 MW 급 블레이드(KR40.1b)에 대한 설계평가 결과를 제시하였다. 유한요소 해석에 의한 극한 강도, 좌굴 안정성, 한계 허용 팁 변형과 누적 손상 법에 의한 피로 강도 해석결과가 검토되었으며, KR40.1b 블레이드는 모든 평가항목에 대한 구조 건전성을 만족하는 것으로 확인되었다.

  • 본 연구는 우리의 일상 생활에서 물건을 보호하며 이를 용기에 담아 운반하는 것과 넓은 의미의 포장은 인류의 역사와 더불어 시작된 지혜이며 인간의 삶의 질을 향상시킨다는 하나의 행위이다. 산업발달과 국민경제의 고도성장과 수출증대에 따라 포장산업은 국내외적으로 대량유통체제가 요청되고 있으며 이러한 유통체제에 적응키 위해 제품의 생산에서 소비에 이르는 유통과정을 일관하는 매체로서 중요한 산업이 되어가고 있다. 그러나 산업발달에 따른 다양해지는 제품과 포장의 급증으로 배출되는 포장 폐기물은 심각한 사회문제가 되고 있다. 그러므로 제품의 보호, 운송, 보관에 적합하게 하면서도 기능적으로 편리하게 하고 내용물을 소모한 뒤의 포장 폐기물 처리 문제에까지 고려하는 것이 오늘날의 문제이다. 따라서 일반소비자들은 환경 적으로 건전하다고 판단되는 제품을 구매하거나 재활용함으로써 일차적인 환경보존에 기여할 수 있어야 한다. 그러므로 본 논문은 포장의 1차용도의 개념에서 벗어나 2차용도인 재활용을 위한 새로운 포장기능을 널리 인식시키고 앞으로 디자인방향의 개선점을 고려해 봄에 있다.

Displacement tracking of pre-deformed smart structures

  • This paper is concerned with the dynamics of hyperelastic solids and structures. We seek for a smart control actuation that produces a desired (prescribed) displacement field in the presence of transient imposed forces. In the literature, this problem is denoted as displacement tracking, or also as shape morphing problem. One talks about shape control, when the displacements to be tracked do vanish. In the present paper, it is assumed that the control actuation is provided by imposed eigenstrains, e.g., by the electric field in piezoelectric actuators, or by thermal actuators, or via analogous physical effects, such as magneto-striction or pre-stress. Structures with a controlled eigenstrain-type actuation belong to the class of smart structures. The action of the eigenstrains can be conveniently characterized by actuation stresses. Our theoretical derivations are performed in the framework of the theory of small incremental dynamic deformations superimposed upon a statically pre-deformed configuration of a hyperelastic solid or structure. We particularly ask for a distribution of incremental actuation stresses, such that the incremental displacements follow exactly a prescribed trajectory field, despite the imposed incremental forces are present. An exact solution of this problem is presented under the assumption that the actuation stresses can be tailored freely and applied everywhere within the body. Extending a Neumann-type solution strategy, it is shown that the actuation stresses due to the distributed control eigenstrains must satisfy certain quasi-static equilibrium conditions, where auxiliary body-forces and auxiliary surface tractions are to be taken into account. The latter auxiliary loading can be directly computed from the imposed forces and from the desired displacement field to be tracked. Hence, despite the problem is a dynamic one, a straightforward computation of proper actuator distributions can be obtained in the framework of quasi-static equilibrium conditions. Necessary conditions for the functioning of this concept are presented. Particularly, it must be required that the intermediate configuration is infinitesimally superstable. Previous results of our group for the case of shape control and displacement tracking in linear elastic structures are included as special cases. The high potential of the solution is demonstrated via Finite Element computations for an irregularly shaped four-corner plate in a state of plain strain.
