  • Movement technique is comprised of the movement status of the circulation differentiation rate (CDR) and rotation differentiation rate (RDR) on the shiver movement form. Condition of the differentiation rate by the shiver movement form is to be modified the teetering movement system. As to fix the movement of signal on the material of body, we compared a shiver value of the circulation differentiation rate on the circulation state. The concept of rotation differentiation rate was identified the reference of rotation differentiation signal and rotation differentiation signal by the rotation state. For detecting a alteration of the CDR-RDR of the maximum and average in terms of the movement form, and shiver movement value that was a shiver value of the top alteration of the Top-ф$_{MAX-AVG}$ with $12.80{\pm}1.27units$, that was a shiver value of the peripheral alteration of the Per-ф$_{MAX-AVG}$ with $4.38{\pm}1.15units$, that was a shiver value of the limbus alteration of the Lim-ф$_{MAX-AVG}$ with $1.65{\pm}0.25units$, that was a shiver value of the center alteration of the Cen-ф$_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.25{\pm}0.01units$. The teetering movement will be to assess at the ability of the movement form for the control degree of differentiation rate on the CDR-RDR that was shown the circulation and rotation form by the differentiation rate system. Teetering differentiation system was modified of a form by the special movement and was included a shiver data of teetering movement rate.

  • Geothermal heat pump (GHP) systems have been proved to be one of the most efficient systems for heating and cooling in buildings. However, an optimal energy performance depends on a good control of the system components, including heat pumps and circulation pumps, which affect to the total energy consumption of system. This paper presents the simulation results of the heat pump performance for two different control schemes, i.e. constant setting temperature (Control-A) and variable setting temperatures (Control-B) in buffer tank. A dynamic simulation tool, TRNSYS 17, was used to model the entire system and to assess the performance of the system. Simulation results show that the Control-B, which controls the temperature in buffer tank with outdoor air temperature, is a effective way to reduce the energy consumptions in heat pump (7.7%) and circulation pump (7.5%).

  • In 2014, the city of Seoul revised the ordinance regarding water-cycle restoration in the Seoul Metropolitan areas by incorporating the 'Low Impact Development (LID)' policy. The new ordinance plan will utilize 630 mm or almost 45 to 50% of annual rainfall until 2050 by means of providing a rainwater management system consisting of infiltration, retention and vegetation. The LID is believed to be the key to achieving the target requirements, specifically in development projects. This research was performed to evaluate the stormwater runoff and pollutant reduction performance of three different LID facilities (water circulation facilities) including an infiltration inlet, bioretention swale, and permeable pavement constructed in Seoul City. Results show that among the water circulation facilities, the permeable pavement achieved the highest runoff reduction as it was able to entirely capture and infiltrate the runoff to the ground. However, in order to attain a long-term performance it is necessary to manage the accumulated sediment and trapped pollutants in the landscape areas through other water circulation techniques such as through soil erosion control. In terms of pollutant reduction capability, the infiltration inlet performed well since it was applied in highly polluted areas. The bioretention facility integrating the physico-chemical and biological mechanisms of soil, microorganisms and plants were able to also achieve a high runoff and pollutant reduction. The water circulation facilities provided not only benefits for water circulation but also various other benefits such as pollutant reduction, ecological restoration, and aesthetic functions.

  • Among many open libraries under the rule of the Japanese imperialism, only the railroad library as the character of special library under the control of the Japanese Government General is remarkable for having opened its facilities to outsiders as well as the interior users. This study tries a) To look into what were the colonial background, aim and motive of the establishment of the railroad library under the Japanese rule, b) To analyze its activities and the change of its organization, c) And to find out its vestiges an the effects which it has on our country's library circles. The following are the result: A. The railroad library under the rule of the Japanese imperialism functioned as a public library by the outside book's circulation rather than the interior using. B. The outsiders were qualified to use it only when they got the joint guarantee for the city resident, which means that the o n.0, pportunity of the circulation was not free for the Koreans rather than the Japanese. C. From the aspect of collections, technical books such as natural science, and reference ones tended to be collected, and their whole composition was focused on the materials for the Japan-Korea identification scheme and development of the national spirit as the Japanese empire's subjects. D. In the respect of its organization, all the clerical employees, as well as the chief librarian were composed of the Japanese. Although the Koreans were in principle prohibited from working there, a few of them were employed as guard or servant as the China-Japan War was close to the end. E. The area of the outside book's, circulation service was expanded throughout the whole region along the railroad connecting Pusan with Manchuria. Such a service activity which contained several meanings, was tried by means of culture's books, circuit's books, train's books, hotel's books, mind's development books and reader's reading books etc. F. Such matters as the limitation on book circulating and the quantity of circulation book, the paid circulation and the partial restriction on free circulation mean the wartime system under the rule of the Japanese imperialism and also a n.0, ppeared as a factor of hampering the Koreans from getting accustomed to using library, which has affected them until now. G. The noticeable thing in the service activity is shown in attempting the diversified and positive way of service like free circulation in order to solidify the attitude of the Koreans toward war by organizing mind's development books as well as culture's books with the China-Japan War. H. On the other hand, it can not be passed over that the diversified service activity of the railroad library played a role of bridge in turning of today's library circles of ours to the modernization.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of circulation exercise on health related fitness and metabolic syndrome risk factors obese in middle age women. Twenty, obese middle age women($BMI<25kg/m^2$) composed of circulation exercise group(EX, n=10), the control group(CON, n=10). The variables of health related fitness, metabolic syndrome risk factors were measured in all the subjects before the start and after the end of 12 week circulation exercise program(60~80 %HRR, 3 times per week, 30~40 mins). The test data were analyzed by paired t-test and repeated ANOVA, and the alpha level of p<.05 was set for all tests of significance. Health related fitness and metabolic syndrome risk factors were measured pre and 12 weeks of post exercise training. %body fat(p <.01) was significantly decreased in EX group compared to CON group. LBM(p <.05), muscular endurance(p <.05), flexibility(p <.05) and cardiorespiratory endurance(p <.001) were significantly increased in EX group compared to CON group. WC(p <.05), SBP(p <.01), DBP(p <.05), Glucose(p <.05) and TG(p <.05) were significantly decreased in EX group compared to CON group. HDL-C(p <.01) was significantly increased in EX group compared to CON group. These results suggest that 12 weeks of circulation exercise training improves health related fitness and metabolic syndrome risk factors. Thus, this newly proposed circulation exercise modality can be a useful therapy to improve both health related fitness and metabolic syndrome risk factors in obese middle age women.

  • Machine tools usually consume more energy in cooling systems than in spindle motors. This is largely because circulation pumps in the cooling systems are continuously powered to measure the temperature of spindle motors. In this paper, energy saving algorithms are proposed, which modify this behavior of the circulation pumps in such a way that the circulation pumps run only when it is likely that the information on the temperature is critical to bang-bang control of compressors in cooling systems. A mathematical model is established that explains heat transfer phenomena near the spindle motors. The power consumptions are measured for individual components in a machine tool, and the parameters that appear in the mathematical model are estimated. Computer simulations are performed with the estimated parameters, and the results are compared with the experimental ones. It turns out that a large amount of energy can be saved by using the proposed method.

  • A swine farm located in the Kyungpook province (designated as farm D that have been suffering from PED for several years was selected to study the etiology and the outbreak pattern of PED by clinical and laboratory examinations. Clinical examination indicated that sows exhibited signs of mastitis resulting in an inadequate transfer of lactogenic immunity against PEDV to newborn piglets. Furthermore, serological tests revealed that all sow groups and their piglets had low levels of anti-PEDV antibody. These data suggest that improper vaccination program has been indeed performed in this farm. Remarkably, despite no symptoms of PED in weaners, the presence of PEDV was identified by RT-PCR from fecal samples of weaning piglets, indicating persistent PEDV circulation in the herd. Based on these results, the following basic control schemes were executed for the control of PEDV circulation in the farm; a) A quick removal of affected pigs and disinfection of affected sheds. b) restructuring of vaccination program and employment of consultant. c) prompt treatment of mastitis and removal of poor lactogenic sows, and d) enhancement of biosecurity of farrowing house by acquisition of additional space. We evaluated risk factors and implementation of control measures in two months and were unable to found any case related to PEDV infection. Taken together, our data indicate that the method described above is effective for the control of PED outbreak in farm persistently suffering from PEDV infection.

  • Heparinization is an essential step in extracorporeal circulation for open heart surgery. But wide individual variation to heparin effect sometimes makes it difficult to anticoagulate safely or neutralize appropriately. Because the conventional set protocol of heparinization did not consider this individual variation, a new method of control of heparinization was proposed by Dr. Brian Bull in 1974. We compared the group in which a conventional set protocol was used [Control group] with the other in which a new protocol modified from that of Bull was used [ACT group], on the aspects of the dosages of heparin and protamine administered and postoperative bleeding. Our conventional protocol [Control group] consisted of: 1. Initial heparin was given at dose of 350U/Kg into the right atrium prior to bypass. 2. Additional heparin was given every hour during E.C.C., as much as a half of the Initial dose. 3. 600U of heparin was mixed into every 100ml. of priming solution. 4. The protamine dose was calculated by totalling the units of heparin given to the patient and giving 1 .8mg. of protamine per 100 units of heparin. ACT protocol [ACT group] consisted of: 1. Initial heparinization was same as that of conventional protocol. 2. ACT`s were checked before [A point] and 10 minutes after initial heparinization [B point]. With these 2 points, a dose response curve was drawn. 3. Heparin for the priming solution was same as in control group. 4. Every 30 minutes during E.C.C., ACT`s were checked with Hemochron [International Technidyne Corp.]. ACT between 450 and 600 seconds was regarded as safety zone. If ACT checked at a time was below 450 seconds, heparin dose was calculated on the dose-response curve to lengthen ACT to 480 seconds and was given into the oxygenator. 5. About 10 minutes before the term of E.C.C., ACT was checked to estimate the blood heparin level at the time. Then, protamine dose was calculated at dose of 1.Stag per 100 units of heparin. The calculated dose of protamine was mixed into 50 to lO0ml of 5% Dextrose Water and dripped intravenously during the period of 15 minutes. Compared these two groups mentioned above, results were obtained as follows: 1. Mean value of normal ACT checked with Hemochron on 30 preoperative patients was 124 seconds [range 95-145 sec.]. 2. Doses of heparin and protamine given to the patient were decreased in ACT group as much as 32.2% and 62.2% respectively. 3. Postoperative bleeding and transfusion were also decreased in ACT group in 60.5% and 67.1% respectively. 4. Our modified dose-response curve did not cause any problems in the control of heparinization. 5. Initial heparinization [Heparin 350U/Kg] was sufficient for the most patients until 60 minutes under extracorporeal circulation. 6. We used 1.5mg of protamine to neutralize 100 units of heparin. But smaller dose of protamine may be sufficient for appropriate neutralization.

  • While greenhouses have been utilized as a sustainable alternative to traditional soil farming, they are often powered by diesel boilers that necessitate vast amounts of non-renewable energy and emit toxic fumes. Thus, geothermal heat pumps have been proposed as a more energy-efficient substitution for diesel boilers. Currently, most horticultural facilities in the United States use shallow geothermal systems, and are often equipped with horizontal underground heat exchangers as well as heat pump equipment. These shallow geothermal systems require a large drilling site and heat pump to function, which results in high maintenance costs. The heat pump itself consumes a large amount of power, which degrades system performance. Conversely, high temperatures can be attained within a single borehole in deep geothermal vertical closing systems without using a heat pump. This setup can dramatically reduce the power consumption and improve system performance. In this study, we have modeled a circulation simulator after the circulation systems in deep geothermal facilities to analyze a 2000-meter borehole in Naju-Sanpo-myeon. The simulator is operated by manipulating various putative parameters affecting system performance to analyze the system's coefficient of performance.
