The purpose of this paper is to examine Toegye(退溪 李滉, 1501~1570)'s interpretation of Chungyong(中庸) who led the completion of the $Chos{\breve{o}}n$-style acceptance of Neo-Confucianism. This paper is focused on revealing the way that how he understood it according to the system of Neo-Confucianism that was proposed by Chu Hsi, rather than revealing the unique perspective of Toegye. I have the following configuration in this paper. First, I have set two directions of research for understanding of Chungyong, these were derived through the work that is an overview of cases of interpretation of Chungyong of $Chos{\breve{o}}n$. 1) How to understand the overall structure of Chungyong? 2) How to understand key concepts of Chungyong? Next, basing on these directions of research, I analyzed Toegye's interpretation of Chungyong. To grasp the structure of the whole, Toegye followed the segmentation system and structure of Chungyong changgu: Commentary on the Doctrine of the Mean, and to understand key concepts of Chungyong, he conducted in collaboration with concepts of Neo-Confucianism. Concretely, I analyze his work : Chungyong $suk{\breve{u}}i$(中庸釋義) and Chungyong $jil{\breve{u}}i$(中庸質疑) for asserting that he accepted the segmentation system and structure of Chungyong changgu. And I analyze his documents: letters to and from his disciples. This analysis focus on concepts of Chungyong for asserting that his understanding is in the context of Chu Hsi and other Neo-Confucian scholars's commentary. Toegye tried to reduce the diversity of interpretation and present one meaning.

This paper intends to articulate concretely the contents and methods of Confucius self-cultivation and their practical characteristics through the analysis of S?nsan Wang Fuzhi (船山 王夫之, 1619~1692)'s On Reading Four Classics - Chungyong 讀四書大全說-中庸. The essence of the practical philosophy that penetrates Chungyong (中庸: The Doctrine of the Mean) is the practice of self-cultivation through Chonyang (存養: Preserving one's self) and $S{\breve{o}}ngchal$ (省察: Self-reflection). It can come down to two cultivation practices: 1) careful and discrete thinking without seeing or listening (Kyesingonggu: 戒愼恐懼), 2) solely looking into what is hidden and covert (Sindok: 愼獨). $S{\breve{o}}nsan$ grasped the importance of the two concepts for practical philosophy and articulated the principles of practical self-cultivation of Chungyong by paying attention to the differences and mutual-relations of the two concepts. Especially, he put the emphasis on the study through Chonyang and then focused on the relations between Chonyang and $S{\breve{o}}ngchal$. He consistently argued that the Kyesingonggu's Chonyang study was what enabled the Sindok's $S{\breve{o}}ngchal$ study and clarified the meanings of Chonyang in self-cultivation. Furthermore, he established the self-cultivation study of Chungyong as the primary self-cultivation theory of Confucianism by maximizing the practical characteristics within $Chonyangs{\breve{o}}ngchal$.

소나 시스템의 표적 탐지 성능을 향상시키기 위해 물리적으로 제한된 길이의 어레이를 확장하는 합성 어퍼쳐 소나에 대한 연구와 실험이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 왜곡된 어레이의 형상을 추정하여 왜곡을 보상한 후에 빔 영역에서 어레이를 합성하는 FFTSA(Fast Fourier Transform Synthetic Aperture) 기법의 성능을 분석하였다. 실험 데이터로는 한국 근해에서 견인 어레이로부터 획득한 데이터를 이용하였으며 실측된 데이터로 부어레이 간의 시-공간적인 위상 차이를 보상함으로써 어레이 길이를 확장하였다.

This paper examines three algorithms to recognize speaker's emotion using the speech signals. Target emotions are happiness, sadness, anger, fear, boredom and neutral state. MLB(Maximum-Likeligood Bayes), NN(Nearest Neighbor) and HMM (Hidden Markov Model) algorithms are used as the pattern matching techniques. In all cases, pitch and energy are used as the features. The feature vectors for MLB and NN are composed of pitch mean, pitch standard deviation, energy mean, energy standard deviation, etc. For HMM, vectors of delta pitch with delta-delta pitch and delta energy with delta-delta energy are used. We recorded a corpus of emotional speech data and performed the subjective evaluation for the data. The subjective recognition result was 56% and was compared with the classifiers' recognition rates. MLB, NN, and HMM classifiers achieved recognition rates of 68.9%, 69.3% and 89.1% respectively, for the speaker dependent, and context-independent classification.

본 논문에서는 송신단에서의 shifted TR 기법과, 이 것에 수신단에서의 선택적 MMSE 등화기를 추가한 통신시스템을 주파수 선택적 채널에서 실험해보고 이것이 shifted TR 기법만 사용했을 때와 비교하여 수신단의 선택적 MMSE 등화기가 성능에 어떤 영향을 끼치는지 관찰하였다. 이를 보호 구간 별로 실험 결과를 비교하였으며 수신단에 선택적 MMSE 등화기를 추가시켰을 경우, shifted TR 기법만을 사용했을 경우보다 비트 오차율 측면에서 성능의 이득이 있음을 확인하였다.
