웹을 기반으로 한 정보서비스는 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며 2013년부터는 모든 법인이 웹 접근성을 준수해야 한다. 이러한 관점에서 전문도서관은 홈페이지를 통해 소속 구성원뿐만 아니라 외부 이용자에게도 홈페이지에서 제공하는 모든 정보에 접근할 수 있도록 보장해야한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 전문도서관 홈페이지의 외부 이용자 웹 접근성 수준의 실태를 조사하고 향후 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

국외의 경우, 오픈 소스 소프트웨어 운동이 활발하게 일어나고 있으나 국내의 상황은 아직 초기단계에 머물러 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 뉴질랜드 와이카토(Waikato University)대학의 디지털 도서관 프로젝트의 결과로 개발된 오픈 소스 소프트웨어인 'Green Stone'을 대상으로 디지털 도서관을 구축하는 방법을 살펴보고 동 시스템에 대한 사용성 평가 항목을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 대학의 다양한 정보시스템을 단일의 통합인증을 통하여 통합검색을 제공하고 학내구성원 그룹별에 따라 개별화 맞춤형 정보를 제공하는 대학 종합정보서비스의 포털 구축을 제안하였다. 특히 웹 기반 하에 대학정보화의 종합정보서비스와 단일 게이트를 수용하는 대학 종합정보서비스의 포털 모형으로 구축방안을 제시하였다.

This paper analyzes feasibility studies regarding the structure, applications and issues of the library RFID system. In this study, the structure and principle, operation mode and middleware of library RFID system are reviewed in detail, Finally this paper analyzed and proposed the RFID applications that could be efficient to information management and user service of library and the major problems and improvements of library RFID system.

In this study, we report the generation and analysis of a total of 1,211 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) from Pinus koraiensis. A cDNA library was generated from the young leaf tissue and a total of 1,211 cDNA were partially sequenced. EST and unigene sequence quality were determined by computational filtering, manual review, and BLAST analyses. In all, 857 ESTs were acquired after the removal of the vector sequence and filtering over a minimum length 50 nucleotides. A total of 411 unigene, consisting of 89 contigs and 322 singletons, was identified after assembling. Also, we identified 77 new microsatellite-containing sequences from the unigenes and classified the structure according to their repeat unit. According to homology search with BLASTX against the NCBI database, 63.1% of ESTs were homologous with known function and 22.2% of ESTs were matched with putative or unknown function. The remaining 14.6% of ESTs showed no significant similarity to any protein sequences found in the public database. Gene ontology (GO) classification showed that the most abundant GO terms were transport, nucleotide binding, plastid, in terms biological process, molecular function and cellular component, respectively. The sequence data will be used to characterize potential roles of new genes in Pinus and provided for the useful tools as a genetic resource.

All public libraries are local public goods and cultural infrastructures whose ideological pillars are publicly operated, free, and open to all. This identity is justified when the public library provides various knowledge information, various programs, and community space to local residents within the service area, and ultimately contributes to the cultural development of the nation and society. To this end, the country and local governments must expand the number of individuals that meet legal standards, deploy competent professionals, and provide facilities and spaces that are easy to access and use. However, if there is a gap in infrastructure and services between regional public libraries, it causes inequality in access and use of residents, which inevitably leads to information gap and cultural welfare gap. Therefore, this study was analyzed the relative gap using the location quotient, key infrastructure indicators and service indicators of public libraries of regional government in Korea and basic local government in the Chungnam region from the viewpoint that the balanced development and capacity building of public libraries must precede the establishment of a public library in Chungnam region as a life-friendly knowledge information service institution, culture enjoyment and lifelong learning space. Based on the results, a method to resolve the gap was suggested by dividing the elements of gaps in public libraries into accessibility, core infrastructure, and services, focusing on vulnerable cities and counties in the Chungnam region.
