착유기 세척제가 신개발 젖소 유두컵 라이너용 고무조성물 재질에 미치는 화학적 영향 (The chemical effects of milking machine detergents on the rubber composition of the newly-developed teat cup liners)

  • This study investigated the effects of the alkaline detergent and acid rinse used for cleaning milking machines on the rubber composition of the newly-developed teat cup liners. The samples prepared for use in the clean-in-place process were analyzed by ultraviolet spectrophotometer, ion chromatography and liquid chromatography. In the absorption spectrum of the first sample solution, the form of absorbance or absorption peak was largely different, compared to the absorption spectrum of alkaline detergent alone, but in the absorption spectra of the second and third sample solutions, the absorbance decreased, which was similar to the absorption spectrum in the pure acid detergent. In the ion chromatogram, two main peaks only, which might be shown by the pure alkaline detergent alone, were measured. In the liquid chromatograms, however, new peaks were observed in addition to the two main peaks caused by the pure alkaline detergent alone, which suggested that various molecular materials were created or eluted from the liner by the reaction with the alkaline detergent, but when washed with the acid detergent, any ion species were not produced. Therefore, we propose that an acid rinse should be applied, after cleaning the milking machine with the alkaline detergent.

  • 가용성 단백질의 함량은 녹숙기와 완숙기에는 각각 1.5, 2.0mg/100g-fr. wt.이었고 연시에서는 58.9mg/100g-fr. wt.으로 급격히 증가하였으며, 세포벽 단백질의 함량은 성숙중에 증가하였으나 연시에서는 감소하였다. 겔여과에 의한 염가용성 단백질의 chromatogram은 성숙중에는 유사하였으나, 연시에서는 현저한 차이가 있었다. 감과실은 2종의 단백질로 구성되어 있으며 연화시에 유리되었다.

한국산 감귤의 Carotenoid계 색소 (Carotenoid Pigment of Citrus Fruits Cultivated in Korea)

  • 총 carotenoid 함량을 ${\beta}-carotene$ 상당의 mg%로 산출하였을 때 감귤 14종의 과육과 과피의 함량은 각각 $0.23{\sim}3.38\;mg%$, $0.82{\sim}10.64\;mg%$이었고 평균치는 과육과 과피에서 각각 1.5 mg%, 7 mg%이었다. HPLC에서 14종의 peak를 분리하였으며 이들 peak중 lutein, lycopene, ${\alpha}-carotene$, ${\beta}-carotene$은 표준품과 직접 비교 확인하였고, neoxanthin, violaxanthin, antheraxanthin, lutein-5,6-epoxide, isolutein, cryptox-diepoxide, cryptox-5,6-epoxide and ${\beta}-cryptoxanthin$ 등은 다른 문헌상의 $t_R$과 비교 추정하였다. 개별 carotenoid 함량비를 HPLC chromatogram의 peak 면적%로 비교하였던 바, 품종간의 차이는 뚜렷하지 않았다.

  • 약초 천궁의 원산지를 판별하기 위하여 SAW 친서가 내장된 GC로 구축된 시스템을 이용하여 휘발성 성분을 분석하였다. 사용된 시료는 별도의 전처리 과정 없이 분석되어, 30초 이내에 얻어진 크로마토그램을 $VaporPrint^{TM}$ 이미지 소프트웨어를 사용하여 패턴화하였으며 패턴인식을 통하여 비교한 결과, 수입산 천궁과 국내산 천궁의 패턴이 뚜렷하게 차이를 나타냄으로 원산지 판별을 할 수 있었다.

유두컵 라이너의 물리화학적 특성 조사 (A Study on the Physical and Chemical Properties of Teat Cup Liners)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the physical and chemical properties of teat cup liners. The hardness of the liners was $50\~67$, and their fatigue to failure 38-1,185 cycles. The elongation and tensile strength of these liners were about $134 kgf/cm^2\;and\;473\%$, respectively. The infrared spectrum and the gas chromatogram revealed that the liner A was consisted of NR, SBR, and BR, with a composition ratio of 60:20:20 (part per hundred rubber). The raw rubber materials used for liners B to G, on the other hand, were NBR only. However, the liner H was made of silicon rubber. The thermogravimetric analysis showed that the liners tested in this study contained raw rubber material, carbon black, organic compounds and metallic compounds.

  • Analysis of major nutritional components and Sensory evaluation in two kinds of beef bone stocks (White & Brown) have been Carried out in this study, these stocks were prepared with four different parts of beef bone (Knee bone, Rumpbone, Legbone, Backbone). White bone stocks were made of each beef bone boiling in water & hours, while brown bone stocks were prepared with roasted beef bone in the oven at $230^{\circ}C$ for half an hour and boiled 8 hours with water. Fatty acids were determined by GLC (Gas Lipids Chromatogram), the minerals were analysed by Automic spectrometer. The results of these analysis were obtained as followes; 1. Neutral lipids was gradually becreased, and glycolipids phospholipids were increased in quantity in Brown stocks for 8 hours. Unsaturated fatty accid of Brown stocks was highly decreased due to roasting of bores in the oven at 23$0^{\circ}C$ for half an hour. But they appeared in large quantity in white stocks. 2. The minerals also contained of high percentage in almost Brown stock except backbone Stock 3. Four materials (Kneebone, Rumpbone, Legbone, and backbone) were used for this study and the paired comparison of flavor test presented the recognition of different flavor at 5% level of Least Significant Difference (LSD) on brown stocks (Kneebone, and Legbone). Ranking preference test showed that white Kneebone stock and brown legbone stock had good taste.

A Simple and Simultaneous Analysis of Volatile Halogenated Hydrocarbons in Indoor Air Using Personal Sampler

  • To understand the human exposure levels of volatile halogenated hydrocar-bons in ambient air, a new rapid and convenient analytical method for determination of the compounds in gaseous phase was evaluated and established. The method is based upon passsive diffusion to personal sampler containing adsorbent and solvent extraction followed by purge trap/ on-column cryof-ocusing method. A new method needs no special instrumentation for gas collection because it is based upon the passive diffusion principle. The typical chromatogram obtained in this study proved that rapid and simultaneous determination of target analytes was possible with good resolution. The developed method was successfully applied to determine the volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in indoor air and the values obtained by this new method were compared with those by direct suction method. The concentration of carbon tetrachloride, 1,1,2-trichloroethylene, chloroform showed the values below 400$\mug/m^3$ except the maximum of 1,513$\mug/m^3$ of chloroform. 1,1,1-Trichloroethane showed approximately 1,000 to 5,000$\mug/m^3$ range of diurnal fluctuation in indoor air.

Analysis of Carotenoids in 25 Indigenous Korean Coral Extracts

  • In this study, methanol extracts from 25 indigenous Korean corals were prepared and their carotenoid constituents were analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography-atmospheric pressure chemical ionization-mass spectrometry (HPLC-APCI-MS). Among them, extracts from nine species showed detectable peaks in the HPLC chromatogram at 450 nm and the ultraviolet/visible spectra exhibiting carotenoid-specific characteristics were chosen. The mass data of carotenoid peaks revealed that only peridinin could be identified based on literature comparison and suggested the potential presence of novel carotenoid structures. This is the first reported investigation of indigenous Korean coral carotenoids and further work is needed to explore the carotenoids and their potential roles in the ecosystem of indigenous Korean corals.

  • This paper chose the methods of methylesterification of the use of methoxide, the mixture solution of methanol-benzen-sulfuric acid in transesterification of the fat in cow's milk and modified powder milk and separated by gas liquid chromatography with F.F.A.P., D.E.G.A. as liquid phase. Quantitative analysis of the fatty acid of milk fat in cow's milk and modified powder milk was determined by gas liquid chromatography using the method of temperature programming which should be used to obtain satisfactory separation of short chain fatty acid on the chromatogram. It was found that the fatty acid composition of cow's milk and modified powder milk are all the major fatty acid of milk fat obtained by GLC analysis. Main components was found to be from butyric acid to arachidonic acid showing Fig. 3, 4, 5 and Table 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
