A Study on the Design of 16-Channel AWG Wavelength Division Multiplexer for Super High-Speed Optical Communication (초고속 광통신을 위한 16-Channel AWG 파장다중화기의 설계에 관한 연구)

  • Various methods for analyze optical components which are necessary before the fabrication of optical circuit component and as its applications, designing method of Wavelength Division Multiplexer(WDM) filter using arrayed-waveguide grating(AWG) is paper. In the case of analyzing uniform optical waveguide, effective index method(EIM), harmonic expansion method are used, and in the case of non-uniform optical waveguide, beam propagation method(BPM) are used. In this paper, to use arrayed-waveguide grating as WDM filter of centered wavelength of $1.55{\mu}m$ and wavelength spacing of 0.8nm, all of the parameter of AWG is calculated by the HEM and the BPM using EIM. As a result of calculation, free spectral range is 12.8nm, focal length $9336.55{\mu}m$, path difference $129.36{\mu}m$ and the number of slab waveguide 91 when the distance of core center to center on row land circle is $20{\mu}m$.

  • IGBT devices have the best features of both power MOSFETs and power bipolar transistors, i.e., efficient voltage gate drive requirements and high current density capability. When designing circuit and systems that utilize IGSTs or other power semiconductor devices, circuit simulations are needed to examine how the devices affect the behavior of the circuit. The IGBT model in this paper is verified by comparing the results of the model with experimented results for various circuit operating conditions. The model performs well and describes experimented results accurately for the range of static and dynamic condition in which the device is intended to be operated.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to research whether Inyeong Chon spot pulse(人迎氣口脈) could be used on application of Ohaeng-acupuncture(五行鍼法). Methods : I research ${\ll}$Naegyeong${\gg}$(內經) and annotations were excerpted and record that notied the Inyeong Chon spot pulse(人迎氣口脈). Results : Comparison of Inyeong Chon spot pulse and Deficiency Excess syndrome of meridian system is useful to use Zheng Ge(正格) and Sheng Ge(勝格) of Ohaeng-acupuncture(五行鍼法) but in application of Han Ge(寒格) and Re Ge(熱格), Inyeong Chon spot pulse(人迎氣口脈) is not useful.

  • The study on the strength prediction using Maturity is mainly focused on, but the study on the concrete mixing blast furnace slag powder is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between compressive strength and equivalent age by Maturity function and is to compare and examine the strength prediction of concrete mixing Blast Furnace Slag Power using ACI and Logistic Curve prediction equation. So it is intended that fundamental data are presented for quality management and process management of concrete mixing Blast Furnace Slag Power in the construction field.

  • In this paper, we measured the electrical and optical characteristics of an electrodeless fluorescent lamp system as product of the inside and outside of the country and compared the measured data. Output current wave of domestic 150 W is unstable than it's of Endura 150 W. But the former of spend time after discharging and output current value is small than the latter. And optical characteristics(brightness, flux, color rendering index, efficiency) value of the former is a little small than the latter. In conclusion, if we improve a little more quality then we must secure the superiority in competition.
