The purpose of this study was to compare the perspective of marriage and preferences of wedding dress design for female college students in Korea and China. To this end, a questionnaire was administered for 191 Korean female college students and 199 Chinese female college students in Korea. The data were analyzed using SPSS PC + 25.0, and the applied statistical techniques were reliability analysis, cross-tab analysis, and mean comparison analysis. For statistical verification, chi-square and t-test were used. The main research results are as follows. First, Korean female college students were more likely to marry than Chinese female college students. For the reason of wishing to marry, Chinese female college students were higher than Korean female college students in economic, life, and parent-related items. The reason for not wanting to get married is that Chinese female college students were high in worrying about their spouse, work, and their career. Second, the wedding dress design preferred by Korean and Chinese female college students was different in the neckline. Finally, the policy measures for consumer preference and satisfaction in the future wedding industry were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to compare the dietary behaviors and snack intake between Korean and Chinese university students. The total number of participants was 520, with 267 Korean college students in Seoul and 253 Chinese college students in Shandong Province. According to the results, the most frequent place of residence was their own house for Korean students and the dormitory for Chinese students. As for healthy life behavior, Chinese university students as compared to Korean students showed a higher tendency of exercising, and lower levels of drinking, smoking, and caffeine intake. The frequency of snack intake was about 1 to 3 times a week for both Korean and Chinese college students, and the frequency of night eating was higher among Korean students than among Chinese students. The overall dietary evaluation score was higher for Chinese students than for Korean students. This study compared the overall eating habits of Korean and Chinese college students and tried to provide useful basic data for the development of educational programs that can form desirable eating habits for the health of college students in both countries.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The consumption of home meal replacement (HMR) is increasing among college students in Korea and China. In particular, Chinese college students studying abroad in Korea (CSK) show changes in their dietary behavior after migration, and HMR consumption for meal substitution is also increasing. This study was conducted to compare the HMR consumption behaviors and HMR development needs of CSK, Chinese college students in China (CSC), and Korean college students in Korea (KSK). SUBJECTS/METHODS: The subjects were 570 college students (180 CSK, 200 CSC, and 190 KSK) who had experience of HMR consumption. Data were collected by face-to-face survey in 2019 and analyzed using SPSS 25.0. RESULTS: The majority of the subjects purchased HMR to 'saving time' and 'preventing meal skipping'. Average purchase price per HMR was about 5,000 won for the CSK and KSK, and about 3,000 won for the CSC. The most important attributes when selecting HMR for the CSK and CSC were hygiene, freshness, and taste in that order, while for the KSK were taste, price, and hygiene. Rice was preferred by the KSK while grilled and fried dishes were preferred by the CSK and CSC. In terms of development needs, dessert and meat-based side dishes were highest in all three groups. The preferred food materials for more than 50% of the subjects of all groups were beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, and squid, and spinach and Chinese cabbage in the CSK, and onion in the KSK. CONCLUSIONS: This study shows more effort is needed to develop the healthy customized HMR for college students studying in Korea and China, and that focuses are placed by CSK on hygiene and freshness, by CSC on meat side dishes, hygiene, and price, and by KSK on snacks (as meal substitutes), taste, and price.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the differences in critical thinking and professionalism between Korean and Chinese nursing students. Critical thinking and professionalism were a part of five domains to evaluate nursing education: critical thinking, professionalism, leadership, communication, and nursing practice from the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing. Methods: Data were collected from 207 college nursing students: 104 students from the 4-year degree program in Korea and 103 from the 5-year degree program in China from September 2006 to September 2007. The instruments for Chinese students were translated in Chinese and re-translated to check accuracy. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS/PC+ Win 12.0 Version. The $x^2$-test to compare general characteristics and the t-test to examine the differences of the study variables were conducted. Results: Korean nursing students reported significantly higher scores of critical thinking than did Chinese students while Chinese students reported significantly higher scores of professionalism. Students took previous courses associated with critical thinking reported significantly higher scores than did those without previous courses taken. There was no significant difference in scores of professionalism whether students had previous experience of related courses or not. Rather than, students with clinical practice reported higher scores of professionalism than did those without clinical practice. Conclusion: Levels of critical thinking were influenced by course focusing on critical thinking while professionalism was improved by combination of associated courses and clinical practice. For follow-up study, there is needed to examine nursing curriculum between Korea and China.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the factors influencing the occupational attitudes of nursing students in the probation period. Methods: Nursing students in the probation period from five hospitals completed an anonymous survey. The instruments included the nursing occupational attitude scale, family adaptability, partnership, growth, affection, and resolve index, and perceived social support scale. The study examined the moderation model between family function, perceived social support, and occupational attitudes using PROCESS 3.2. Results: For nursing students, when social support was low, family function had a significant positive impact on occupational attitudes and intentions, and the effect was much higher than that of perceived social support. Conclusion: Family function has a significant positive explanatory effect on attitude and intention (β = .13, p < .001 and β = .12, p < .001); the interaction term between family function and perceived social support are significant (β = .01, p < .001 and β = .01, p < .001). Perceived social support has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between family function and occupational attitudes of nursing students in the probation period. Family function has a significant difference in the occupational attitudes and intentions of nursing students with low perceived social support. Nursing students perceive social support in the probation period has a significant moderation effect in the relationship between their family function and occupational attitudes. Interns with low family function should be given more social support to improve their occupational attitudes.

The purpose of this study was to analyze clothes-wearing of Chinese female university students in Hangzhou. By random sampling, a total of 183 Chinese female students in Hangzhou aged between 17 and 24 were used into data analysis from November 20, 2010 to January 20, 2011. The questionnaires consisted of 36 questions in total. The results were as follows : According to the result of the purpose of wearing clothes in winter, it was found that many female students wore clothes for a "protection purpose" or "ornamental purpose" in winter. As for the question about whether or not underwear was worn in winter, Chinese students answered that more upper underwear was worn than lower underwear. As for the question about the types of outer garments, Chinese students answered that they wore 3-layered upper garments in winter most. The upper garments worn in winter preferred most was long coat(68.3%). In the survey on the types of accessories, More Chinese students wore mufflers and gloves while less students wore hats and earmuffs.

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of Chinese international students' academic resilience on acculturation stress and college life adjustment. In order to achieve this research objective, the research subjects were Chinese students participating in sports in Korea. The sampling method was convenience sampling, and a total of 300 people, 150 men and 150 women, were selected as research subjects through sharing the questionnaire link online and email. The research tool used in this study was a questionnaire. Based on the questionnaire that had secured reliability and validity in previous research, it was modified and supplemented to suit this study. The statistical analysis used for data analysis was frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Windows 22.0 Version. The conclusions obtained in this study through data analysis according to these methods and procedures are as follows. First, the academic elasticity of Chinese students participating in sports has partially influenced by cultural adaptation stress. Second, the academic elasticity of Chinese students participating in sports has partially influenced by university life. Third, the acculturation stress of Chinese students participating in sports was found to partially affect their adaptation to university life.
This paper is a study on the information required for developing Korean clothing products intended for Chinese students in Korea and for opening markets of Korean clothing and brands in China. It analyses the buying behaviors, purchasing ability, the favourite apparel type for clothing, and satisfaction with Korean clothing and brands of Chinese students in Korea, with which it seeks a program for South Korea branding to enter into the Chinese clothing market. Three hundred fifty seven students of Hannam University and PaiChai University Chung nam National University in Daejeon-city took part in this study. This paper adopts Descriptive Analysis, Crossing Analysis, Bivariate Correlations, and One-way ANOVA in SPSS 17.0 with Post Hoc Multiple Comparisons to know about the impact of demographic variables of Chinese students in Korea on buying information sources, the criteria for store selection, buying capacity, praise degree on various properties of Korean clothes products and their satisfaction with Korean clothes products. The first proposal of expanding China market for Korean merchants is to achieve maximum sales based on sales promotion strategies, such as the credit card corporations, the store display and sales person service development, SPA, design size development, and to upgrade consumption values. The second proposal is Korean clothes corporations should open the Internet shopping corresponding to the physical stores, the most frequently used information source of Chinese students is the network, from the age distribution of Internet users in 2008 in China, population above 10 and below 30 accounts for 66.7% of all users, In recommending clothes made in Korea to Chinese young people, on-line advertising will get better effects than other strategies, specially during advertisement, they should take good use of Korean television shows and variety shows or help Chinese poor areas to do the social contribution hereby to improve the public image of Korean clothes corporations, which can bring good sale promotion effects as well.

In recent years, "Korean Wave" has entered the life of college students with the carrier of popular culture such as popular music, TV plays and novels, which is unique to South Korea, and has been widely pursued by college students. The Korean wave culture inevitably exerts an important influence on their values. Based on this, on the basis of questionnaire survey, this paper takes Chinese college students as the research object. After understanding the attitude and contact status of contemporary college students towards Korean Wave culture, this paper explores the reasons for the prevalence of Korean Wave culture in China, and then specifically analyzes the influence of Korean Wave culture on Chinese college students from both positive and negative aspects. It also puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to correctly guide college students to face the Korean Wave culture from the four aspects of society, colleges, families and individuals. I hope to guide college students to rationally cope with the Korean wave culture, establish a correct outlook on life, and better integrate into the trend of The Times.
