This paper examines few approaches to education for medical librarianship - those of North America, the People's Republic of China, Japan and Korea and the various opinions in the previous studies of the .education fer subject specialist librarians. and it suggests the educational system for medical librarianship practicable in Korea, including formal degree programs, continuing education and medical librarian certificate program.

As decision makers do not make optimal decisions in practice despite the existence of optimal solutions in many models, there has been a rising interest in behavioral operations management recently. In this study, we aim for a comparative study to analyze the inventory decisions in Korea, America, and China, by conducting the same newsvendor experiment in Korea and compare the results with those of previous studies. From the comparative analysis, some national characteristics in decision-making processes have been observed but there is lowly significant difference in order quantities among the three groups. Korean students show lower level of understanding in demand distributions and tendencies of anchoring on the mean demand and being risk-averse. The finding that individuals make their own decisions differently based on their different behaviors suggests that we need to consider individual approach in analyzing human decision-making processes rather than adapting aggregate approach.

Amid global economic crisis and skyrocketing oil prices, container shipping companies have raised a sustained series of efforts to reduce vessel operating costs. Under these circumstances, the Grand Alliance has decided to install the dedicated feeder instead of additional vessels in the CCX(Central China Express) and the NCE(North China Express) route. In other words, a vessel in a trunk route is transshiped by a dedicated feeder vessel in Busan port that is a transshipment port, rather than calling at Northen China port. In this study, the actual operating data of Grand Alliance container services were analyzed to determine the economic effect of transshipment through a dedicated feeder service. In this way, the Grand Alliance are saving vessel operating expenses in 'NCE' and 'CCX' routes, making the slow steaming of vessels possible in these trunk routes.

Ever since the introduction of high strength steel pipe strut(POSTRUT) in 2008, there has been over 50 applications domestically. The merits of construction period reduction and cost savings have been well reported abroad in countries such as America, Europe and China but ever in domestic projects or ground condidtions. 25 actual construction projects were investigated and statistically analyzed to evaluate the quantitative effects of POSTRUT. Also the construction projects along with the cautions that should be taken and the structural behavior differences between POSTRUT and H-section struts are briefly described in this paper.

Improved qualifications for Record Management Professionals were also suggested.

Objectives : We aimed at reviewing the studies related to the treatment of children by acupuncture therapy. Methods : We referred to PubMed by using searching words of acupuncture and the terms of pediatrics, such as child, children, adoiescence, baby, infant, juvenile. 22 journals with 23 paper were searched and reported. Results : 1. We found 23 articles in 22 journais, whose authors were in China, Japan, Germany, Russia, America, Brazil, etc. 2. Clinical trial was the method which these studies had used mostly the pattern of the rest were reviews, case reports of undetermined articles. 3. We analysed articles and found many articles of nocturnal enuresis, postoperative vomiting, etc. 4. The result of clinical studies represented the significant cure rate. 5. The acupuncture instruments on children's diseases were laser acupuncture, acupressure. and herbal skin sticking as well as body acupuncture,. Conclusion : Study of pediatric acupuncture was increasing and effective result was reported.

With the advent of multi collector-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, stable isotopic variations of non-traditional metal elements have provided important constraints on the sources of geologic materials. This review introduces the principles of magnesium isotopic fractionation and analytical methods. Recent case studies are also reviewed for the use of magnesium isotope signatures to decipher the source materials of I-, S-, and A-type granitoids in western North America, Australia, and China.

Melilotus dentatus (Waldst. & Kit.) Desf. is an invasive plant native to Europe, Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and China. It was introduced to North America to create grazing areas for livestock; its growth has since become uncontrollable. Melilotus dentatus is now found in Namyang-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea as an alien plant. This species is morphologically similar to Melilotus suaveolens Ledeb. and Melilotus officinalis (L.) Lam. M. dentatus differs from other species based on its oblong leaflets, distinct teeth, two ovules, surface of the legume that is minutely reticulate-nerved or smooth, and seeds that are dark green to greenish brown. Here, we have provided a detailed description and photographs of the alien species M. dentatus as well as an updated key to five Melilotus taxa studied, which will help prepare a continuous monitoring and management plan.

Discussion of Economic Community in East Asia are active. This trend began in the late 20th from the EU and North America's regional economic integration is in response to the movement. East Asia in the late 1990s to the actual for the FTA, it was not very active. As East Asian Economic Community became one of agendas for ASEAN+3 Leaders' meeting since 2004. Japan has been positioned itself as a leading country in East Asia. However, the emergence of China in the East Asian economic community have been changes. Moreover, East Asian countries began concerns over regional economic community with frequent conclusions of FTAs and China is leading the discussion on strengthening economic cooperation in the region. Some of it in terms of economic community in East Asia will not be smooth. First, East Asian countries do not have a common goal. Second, East Asian countries have a lot of diversity. Third, China and Japan are expected to compete in the championship. Therefore, East Asian economic community should be approached in the long-term perspective.
