The tool adapted by Woo Sookyong(2002) was used for Mother's emotional expressivity, and the tool of Lee Jeongran(2003) for the of self regulation and the tool of park Joohee and Lee Eunhae for the children's peer competency. Data analysis was performed with population, percentage, t-test, Cronbach $\alpha$, F-test, and co-relation of LSD posteriori test. The summary of this study are as follows; First, the more negative expressivity was shown as mother's academic career was higher and the more positive one was appeared as family income was greater according to the background of socio-demography. The interviews were audio-taped and transcribed before content analysis. The data were analyzed for themes and attributes. The researchers read the data together and discussed their conclusions until a consensus was reached. Results: Eight dimensions, 57 subdimensions and 101atttributes were identified for QOL in school-age children. The purpose of this study is to discuss the planning direction of educational spaces to support children's healthy and creative learning based on bio_philic theory. This study analyzed the characteristics of the application of biophilic patterns in children's education space through case analysis. The conclusion of this study is summarized as follows. As a result of the analysis of children's classroom space, the pattern of 'A(Visual connection with nature), F(Dynamic & Diffuse Light), K(Prospect)' shows high application rate, but the pattern of 'C(Non-Rhythmic Sensory Stimuli), G(Connection with Natural Systems), I(Material Connection with Nature)' shows low application rate. In particular, there is a lack of connection with patterns such as hearing, smell, touch, taste stimulation and water experience, and curiosity through exploration of nature about 'B(Non-visual connection with nature), E(Presence of Water), N(Risk/Peril)' changes in nature and ecosystem. In the corridor and rest space, the pattern of 'A(Visual connection with nature), D(Thermal & Airflow Variability), F(Dynamic & Diffuse Light), G(Connection with Natural Systems), K(Prospect)' shows high application rate, but 'B(Non-visual connection with nature)' shows low application rate. In addition, the application of patterns related to the stimulation of curiosity through direct exploration of nature and the exploration of the patterns of 'E(Presence of Water), N(Risk/Peril)' is insufficient. Therefore, in the case of classroom spaces, the active use of nature as it is should be considered within the scope that does not cause visual confusion, and it should provide an area that can be experienced through the five senses. And corridors and rest spaces should be designed to introduce more active natural elements as spaces to recover stress caused by learning. In other words, the characteristics of children's education facilities need to be connected between classroom space, corridor, rest space and external space. This study is meaningful in that it analyzes and derives the application characteristics of 'biophilic design' which affects the 'Attention Restoration' of children's educational spaces through foreign cases.

The purpose of this study was to understand the present condition about the space planning of the nursing rooms at the child care center in U.S.A. The researchers investigated the physical conditions of the centers through sketching, measurement, taking pictures and observation. On the other hand, to understand the user's needs, the interview to the directors of the centers was performed. As a result, the followings were proposed. The grouping of children depending upon the age has to be more classified according to the development period. And the guideline for the space areas has to be improved to a larger standard than present regulation. And the most impressive characteristic of the center in U.S.A. is the functional space design. The space such as toilet, washing room, kitchenet are well organized into the nursing rooms for children. Various ideas for arranging above functions in the small nursing rooms have to be developed in Korea. And the dynamic space arrangement of nursing room is also impressive. The material of the floor has to be considered variously for the comfort of the children.
