어머니의 촉진적 의사소통과 아동의 정서지능이 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향 (Social Competence : Effect of Mother's Facilitative Communication and Child's Emotional Intelligence)

  • This study examined the effects of mother's facilitative communication and child's emotional intelligence on social competence. Subjects were 474 students in the $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grades of two elementary schools located in Seoul. Data were analyzed by the SAS statistics program. Findings were that mother's facilitative communication has an effect on child's social competence and on emotional intelligence. Higher perception of child's own emotional ability was associated with higher sociability, social participation and leadership. Increased perception of the emotional ability of others was associated with higher sociability, interpersonal adjustment, social participation, leadership, and popularity.

아버지의 양육행동과 유아의 정서조절의 관계에서 놀이참여의 상호작용 효과 (The Interaction Effect between Fathers' Parenting and Play Participation on Emotional Regulation of Preschoolers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the main and interaction effects of fathers' parenting and their play participation on emotional regulation of preschoolers. The participants of this study consisted of 269 preschoolers (M: 61.4 months, SD: 15.3) located in Seoul and Gyeong-gi province. The results of regression analysis revealed that; 1) Father's parenting (such as rational instruction, friendly attitude) positively predicted child's emotion regulations. 2) The interaction effects of fathers' parenting (such as parenting participation, reaction, rational instruction, friendly attitude) with their constructive play participation predicted children's emotion regulations. Namely, fathers with higher constructive play participation showed higher emotion regulations of preschoolers under father's parenting participation, reaction, rational instruction and friendly attitude. 3) The interaction effects between fathers' functional play participation and father's parenting participation predicted children's emotion regulations. Findings indicate that fathers play a role in improving children's emotion regulation by parenting. Moreover, its effects appeared more apparently when fathers participated with constructive and functional play methods. In conclusion, it is suggested that fathering and the level of play involvement may be key variables for developing young children's emotion regulation.

유아의 숲체험 활동이 부모와 자녀의 상호 관계 및 태도변화에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Children's Forest Experience Activities on Parent-Child Relationship and Child Attitude Change)

  • 본 연구는 유아의 숲체험 활동이 부모와 상호관계 및 태도 변화에 미치는 영향에 대한 전후 차이를 밝히기 위해 185명의 유아 부모를 대상으로 실증조사 하였는데 그 결과를 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학부모와의 관계 변화에 대하여 숲체험 활동 전, 숲체험 활동 후의 정규성 검토를 실시한 결과 자녀와의 관계 항목은 평균 3.229에서 참여 후 3.841점으로 증가하였으며, 자녀의 태도 문항에 대하여 참여 전 평균 3.226점에서 참여 후 3.765점으로 두 개념 모두 숲체험 활동 전과 후의 평균값의 변화가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 숲체험 활동 전, 후 차이를 분석결과 자녀와의 관계는 Z=-10.98 유의확률 p<.001, 자녀의 태도 Z=-11.05 유의확률 p<.001로 두 요인 모두 유의수준 .05에서 숲체험 활동 전과 후의 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 같은 결과를 볼 때 유아의 숲체험 활동이 부모와 자녀간의 상호관계 증진과 자녀의 부모나 어린이집 외에서의 행동변화가 있음을 의미하는 것으로 이는 자연친화적인 숲 체험교육이 정서적 안정과 교사, 부모, 또래간 긍정적인 라포형성에 따른 것으로 평가할 수 있다.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the structural relationships among parents' and teachers' autonomy support, children's basic psychological needs, and children's participation in decision-making. Methods: The participants were 687 elementary school students (5th and 6th grades) in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The data were analyzed using SEM. Results: First, parents' and teachers' autonomy support had a direct effect on children's participation in decision-making. Second, parents' and teachers' autonomy support had an indirect effect on children's participation in decision-making through the children's basic psychological needs. Third, children's basic psychological needs mediated the effects of parents' and teachers's autonomy support and children's participation in decision-making. Conclusion: The findings suggest the importance of the mediating effect of children's basic psychological needs, between parents' and teachers' autonomy support and children's participation in decision-making. The findings can be used as an important basis for prospective research and practices for improving children's participation in decision-making.

부의 자녀 양육에의 참여 시간 결정요인 연구 (Determinants of Fathers' Child Care Time)

  • This study investigated the factors influencing married men's time allocation in child care. A multidimensional theoritical approach employing the perspectives of economic efficiency time availability and role ideology was employed to explain variations in fathers' participation in child care. In addition the effects of several socio-demographic variables were investigated. The sample was drawn from the National Survey of Families and Households (NSFH) conducted in 1987-1988 by the Center for Demography and Ecology in University of Wisconsin-Madison. Results indicated that the time availability perspective was significantly supported and the economic efficiency perspective was partially supported. On the other hand no singificant evidence was found for the effect of role ideology on fathers' child care time. Overall demographic variables had a nonsignificant effect (except in the case of age) on the amount of fathers' participation in child care.

맞벌이 가정 부친의 육아참가 발생과정 (Examination of Generating Mechanism Concerning Father's Participation in Child-rearing)

  • 목적: 이 연구는 맞벌이 가정의 부친의 육아참가 발생과정을 인과관계모델로 구축하여 이 모델에 대한 데이터로의 적합성에 대해 검토하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법: 조사대상은 I 현 A,B시, II현 C시의 어린이집 21곳과 유치원 4곳을 이용하는 2,006세대(A시:499세대, B시:1113세대, C시:98세대)의 부친으로 하였다. 조사내용은 부친의 연령, 학력, 자녀수, 막내자녀나이, 부모역할관, 1일 노동시간, 귀가시간, 육아참가로 구성하였다. 결과: 부친의 육아참가 발생과정 모델의 데이터로의 적합성에 대해 검토한 결과, 적합도 지표는 CFI=0.912, RMSEA=0.082였다. 경로계수를 살펴보면, 막내자녀나이에서 긍정적 부모역할관으로 향하는 경로계수는 0.08, 긍정적 부모역할관에서 육아참가로 향하는 경로계수는 0.19로 통계학적으로 유의하였다. 또한 저해요인으로서 상정한 귀가시간과 1일 노동시간은 부친의 긍정적/부정적 부모역할관으로부터 영향을 받지 않고, 육아참가에 직접효과를 나타내었다. 이때, 귀 시간에서 육아참가로 향하는 경로계수는 -0.43, 노동시간에서 육아참가로 향하는 경로계수는 -0.13, 귀가시간과 노동시간 간의 상관계수는 0.80이었다. 결론: 이상의 결과를 통해 본 연구에서 제기한 모델의 타당성을 증명하였고, 부친의 육아참가 발생 매커니즘에 관한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

중·고등학생 학부모의 양육스트레스, 부모효능감, 우울감, 부모교육참여가 자녀의 생활역량에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Middle·High School Parent's Parenting Stress, Parent Efficacy, Depression and Participation of Parent Education on Child's Life Competency)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중 고등학생 자녀를 둔 학부모들이 인지하는 자녀생활역량을 파악하고, 양육스트레스, 부모효능감, 우울감, 부모 교육참여가 자녀생활역량에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 알아보고자 대전광역시에 거주하고 있는 중 고등학교에 재학 중인 자녀를 가진 학부모를 대상으로 하였다. 2013년 4월 기준, 대전광역시 소재 중학교 및 고등학교에 협조공문을 보내, 설문지를 이메일로 전달하였고, 2013년 12월 10일부터 20일 사이 회수된 설문지 중, 결측치가 있는 자료를 분석에서 제외하여 총 800부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 23.0 및 AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 연구대상자의 일반적 배경 및 백분율을 실시하였다. 변인들의 관계를 파악하기 위해 Pearson 적률상관계수를 사용하였고, 변인들의 경로를 파악하기 위한 경로모형분석과 경로의 직 간접효과를 분석하고 그 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 자녀생활역량 및 관련 변인들의 높은 상관을 파악할 수 있었으며, 경로모형분석 결과, 부모의 양육스트레스, 부모효능감, 우울감, 부모교육참여가 자녀생활역량에 직 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 부모의 양육스트레스는 학부모효능감과 우울감에 영향을 미치나, 부모교육참여에 따라 자녀생활역량에 다른 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 자녀생활 역량을 증가시키기 위한 가정교육학계에서의 정책적 대안에 대해 제안하였다.

노년기 부부의 사회활동 참여수준이 부부관계 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 우울감의 매개효과: APIMeM 모형을 활용하여 (The Mediation Effects of Depressive Symptoms on the Association between Social Activity Participation and Marital Satisfaction among Couples in Later Life: Using APIMeM Modeling)

  • This study aimed at examining the mediation effects of depressive symptoms on the association between social activity participation and marital satisfaction among couples in later life. The study included 1,196 married couples aged 65 or above who participated in the 7th Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging in 2018. The study variables were husbands' and wives' social activity participation, marital satisfaction, and depressive symptoms. Covariates were individual age, education level, subjective health, couples' household income, and number of children. The Actor-Partner Interdependence Mediation Model (APIMeM) and bootstrapping techniques were used to test the significance of the mediating impacts of depressive symptoms based on the dyadic data structure. The results showed that for both husbands and wives, active participation in social activities had significant effects on increasing marital satisfaction through lowering depressive symptoms. However, only the participation of husbands in social activities was positively associated with their own marital satisfaction by reducing their own and their partner's depressive symptoms. These findings suggest that the active social participation of individuals salient for promoting the quality of marital relationships in later life, particularly for preventing their own and their spouse's depressive symptoms.

취업주부와 남편의 가사노동 참여 실태 및 영향요인 (Participation of Household Labor of Employed Wives and Husbands and It노s Influential variables)

  • This study investigated the participation of household labor of employed wives and husbands and it’s influential variables. The subjects of this study were 287 couples(employed wives and husbands) living in Seoul. The data were analyzed by various statistical methods such as Frequency, Percentile, Pearson’s Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this research were as follows: 1. Wives spend on average of 7 hours and 23 minutes(per day), of 6 hours and 35 minutes(per weekday), of 12 hours and 7 minutes (per weekends) on household labor, whereas husbands spend on average of hours and 38 minutes(per day), of 2 hours and 11 minutes(per weekday), of 5 hours and 18 minutes(per weekends) on household labor. Wives performed most childcare, next, food of the household labors. Husbands performed most childcare, next housing of the household labors. 2. In wives’participation of household labor, the influencial variables were the number of child, wive’s age and wive’s education level. In husbands’participation of household labor, the influencial variables were the number of child, husband’s sex role attitude, wive’s age, and flexibility of wive’s work.

성학대 예방교육의 접근방법에 따른 유아의 성학대 이해와 대처방안 (The Effect of Sexual Abuse Prevention Programs of Concepts of Prevention and Coping Skills in Preschool Children)

  • This study compared the effectiveness of various prevention methods(1-time video viewing; repeated video viewing; participation-enriched video viewing) used in delivering awareness of sexual abuse and coping skills to preschool children. All of the experimental groups performed better than the control group. The participation-enriched viewing group displayed higher levels of coping skills than the control and the 1-time viewing groups. Repeated viewing and participation-enriched viewing approaches were most effective in long-term understanding. The repeated viewing group showed superiority in long-term coping skills. Direct participation, interaction, and reinforcement by means of repetition are important for optimal results in sexual abuse prevention education.
