Thanks to the popularization of golf, the population of young golfers including female players has been continuously increasing and the market specialization of golf-wear has been gradually intensifying with a growing number of new import brands in the market. This study is aimed to provide a direction to strengthen and invigorate the competitiveness of domestic golf wear brands through research on the benefits pursued by, the purchase attitudes towards local and overseas brands and the purchasing behaviors of female customers who have emerged as the newest customer group in the golf-wear market. The subjects of the research were 409 female golfers and the statistical analyses used for the study were factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Scheffe test, and chi-square test. The results showed that there were six factors sought for golf-wear benefits: figure compensation, brand orientation, comfort, youth/fashion, maturity/conformity, and individuality. Cluster analysis showed that there were three groups of golf-wear benefits sought. Overall, the three groups were different in regard to golf involvement and golf-wear preferences. Based upon the results mentioned above, this study summarizes the key features of each group and can provide applicable suggestions for conducting strategic marketing activities.

The purpose of this study was to determine cosmetic preferences and purchasing behavior of two segmented groups(career women vs. college females). We employed questionnaires and collected data from 443 people. Only 400 reliable questionnaires were used for a statistical analysis with SPSS program on the frequency, Chi-square test, and t-test. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The amount of makeup, and the reason for makeup were statistically associated with the segmented groups which are career women and college females. Also we realized that there was a significant difference in 'sophisticated' and 'sexy' makeup images. Both images were more highly sought in career women. 2. The preference of lip colors & textures, types of eye liner, and types of foundation were associated with the segmented career/college female groups. Both groups favored more glossy lipstick. Career women preferred liquid eye liner and foundation, while college females like to use no foundation. 3. Both career women and college females acquired information about cosmetics from the friend's advice rather than TV or magazine. In purchasing, career women considered the most quality, while college females considered suitable cosmetics for their natural skin types.
This study aimed to examine the water consumption of urban households according to pro-environmental attitude for environmental protection. In contrast to preview studies, this study purposed to include various related independent variables, motive to environmental behavior, in special, in the model, and suggest informative data for research, education and strategies related to environmental protection. The data were from 665 housewives living in five urban areas. For the analysis of data, frequencies, means, percentages, GLM analysis, DMR test and Chi-square test were used. The main results of this study were as follows; 1. The respondents held high pro-environmental attitude that pro-environmental behaviors are important to protect environment. The pro-environmental attitude among the respondents were statistically different from the independent variables : spouse's occupation, living area, help of housekeeper, knowledge about environmental protection, convenience to check water consumption, and perception of voluntary conservative behavior among neighborhood 2. There were great difference on water consumption among respondents. The significant independent variables to have effects on water consumption were different between water consumption per person and higher/lower average water consumption. The relationships of pro-environmental attitude and motive to pro-environmental behavior with two water consumption as dependent variables were unique. Also, living areas and knowledge about environment protection were consistently important to explain the difference of water consumption.
Purpose: Screening of delirium using delirium assessment tools could promote delirium detection, however, there is lack of report about regular delirium assessment in Korea. This study was intended to describe the prevalence and related risk factors of delirium in intensive care unit (ICU). Methods: The Confusion Assessment Method for the ICU (CAM-ICU) data which were evaluated by nurses in ICUs was obtained through retrospective chart review. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and stepwise logistic regression. Results: Delirium was evaluated in 125 patients. The incidence rate of delirium was 27.2% with a high prevalence of hypoactive delirium compared to hyperactive delirium (61.8 vs. 38.2%). Those with delirium were older, had hypertension, stayed longer in hospital, receiving ventilator support, had more number of catheters, had low serum protein and albumin level. Delirium incidence also varied according to diagnosis. Age, diagnosis of gastrointestinal disease, and application of ventilator were the significant risk factors for the incidence of delirium. Conclusion: Routine delirium screening is important for early detection of delirium. Identification of high-risk group and running delirium prevention programs could improve early recognition of delirium in ICU.
Purpose: This study was a retrospective cohort study to evaluate the effect of evidence-based guidelines for catheter dysfunction among hemodialysis patients, Success rate and bleeding complications in catheterization were examined. Methods: We performed a retrospective cohort study, including 94 patients with catheter dysfunction who were receiving hemodialysis at a university hospital; 55 in the control group and 39 in the protocol group. This protocol was composed of the catheter dysfunction assessment, conservative management of catheter dysfunction, drug management of catheter dysfunction, catheter function test and maintenance management. Data were analyzed with a Chi-square test and t-test using SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results: The patency rate of the protocol group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The rate of bleeding complications was not statistically significant for either the control group or the protocol group before or after application. Conclusion: The application of the guidelines effectively increased the patency rate of the catheter without bleeding complications. It is hoped that this guideline can be disseminated to nurses nationwide to improve the efficiency of catheter function for hemodialysis patients.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the perceptions, importance, and performance of midwives' roles among midwives and nurses in Korea. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was employed. Data were collected from 164 nurses and 79 midwives from April 1 to June 25, 2021. Midwives enrolled in the Korean Midwifery Association and nurses and midwives from two hospitals each Daegu and Gyeonggi Province in Korea were invited to participate. The independent t-test, chi-square test, the Welch-Aspin test, and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for analysis. Results: The midwives' role perception score (3.47±1.46) was lower than that of nurses (3.95±0.85), and the midwives' role performance score (2.98±0.83) was also lower than that of nurses (3.34±0.89). Significant differences were observed between midwives and nurses in their perception and performance of roles related to prenatal management, childbirth management, management of psychological changes, postpartum management, and newborn care. Higher role perception and performance among midwives were linked to the management of psychological changes and women's health, indicating potential areas for future development. Conclusion: The study results suggest directions for developing new roles for midwives. It is necessary to find a way to expand the field of midwives in public health by benchmarking the roles of midwives in various countries.

Purpose: The goal of this study is to comprehensively grasp the current status of ecommerce and to use as basic data for information-related policies. In this work, we understand recent ecommerce utilization, purchasing business by main factors, and look over the association between business type on sales orders (BTSO) and three variables: region, occupation and group type. Research design, data and methodology: The resource of this research is obtained by Ministry of Science and Technology Information and Communication in 2017, and investigated about 14,000 national business samples. Two statistical methods are used to analyze the association between the three variables: chi-square test and correspondence analysis. Results: The findings show that BTSO is pairwise associated with thee categorical variables, and the association between the categories of the two variables can be visually examined on two dimensional plane. Conclusions: This study suggests 'household & individual consumers' among BTSO are closely connected with 'Chungbuk' and 'Kyungnam' for region, 'others', 'finance & insurance' and 'association, repairing & other personal service' for occupation, and 'national & local government' for group type. Additionally, 'other companies' among BTSO are, particularly, related to 'Chunnam' for region, 'manufacturing industry' for occupation, and 'company corporations' for group type.

The purpose of this study was to analyze behavioral patterns of elderly residents and to identify the characteristics of using furniture and home appliances by elderly-headed households. For this purpose, field studies that included observation and open-ended interview were conducted with 52 households. The data was analyzed with frequency, chi-square test by SPSS 14.0 for windows. The major findings of this study were that: 1) Elderly households had more sitting-down style furniture which was a traditional living mode than western style furniture. 2) They experienced inconvenience to use home appliances that were not designed for the aged. 3) Their behavioral patterns were related with family type and income.
The purpose of this study is to identify the types of injuries and the protective behaviors of soccer club members to prevent injuries, and promote health. Data was collected from 395 soccer club members from thirteen football clubs in Seoul and Gyeonggi province using question tool developed by researchers. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23 for descriptive analysis and Chi-square test. The results showed that sport for soccer injuries was serious and medical expenses was significant. The demographic information showed that 50-year-old and over adults were vulnerable and had a disproportionate number of injuries. Those employees who helded administrative positions, white-collar and specialized jobs also experienced the high level of injury experience. Despite this many injuries, many respondents appeared to be lacking a protective actions, such as not wearing protective gear. It was critical for the club members to improve their knowledge and awareness of safe sports activities.
The standard reference collection of strains for E. coli, the ECOR collection, was analyzed by a genome-based typing method. Seventy-one ECOR strains were subjected to repetitive extragenic palindromic PCR genome fingerprinting with BOX primers (BOX-PCR). Using a similarity value of 0.8 or more after cluster analysis of BOX-PCR fingerprinting patterns to define the same genotypes, we identified 28 genotypes in the ECOR collection. Shannon's entropy-based diversity index was 3.07, and the incident-based coverage estimator indicated potentially 420 genotypes among E. coli populations. Chi-square test of goodness-of-fit showed statistically significant association between the genotypes defined by BOX-PCR fingerprinting and the groups previously defined by multi-locus enzyme electrophoresis. This study suggests that the diversification of E. coli strains in natural populations is actively ongoing, and rep-PCR fingerprinting is a convenient and reliable method to type E. coli strains for the purposes ranging from ecology to quarantine.ine.
