Feature Extraction Method for the Character Recognition of the Low Resolution Document

  • In this paper we introduce some existing preprocessing algorithm for character recognition and consider feature extraction method for the recognition of low resolution document. Image recognition of low resolution document including fax images can be frequently misclassified due to the blurring effect, slope effect, noise and so on. In order to overcome these difficulties in the character recognition we considered a mesh feature extraction and contour direction code feature. System for automatic character recognition were suggested.

  • In orthogonal frequency division multiplexing based wireless system, a pilot signal is often employed to estimate channel state information (CSI). However, the received pilot signal is interfered by other cell interference in multi-cell environments. We consider the estimation of CSI by utilizing orthogonal preambles and channel correlation.

  • The lesions of maxillary swelling observed during necropsy of a korean native pony aged 5 years old were consistent with osteodystrophia fibrosa microscopically. The maxillary lesion was characterized by completely altered bone structure showing complex processes of marked bone resorption with extensive fibrous replacement and accelerated osteoid formation.
