거제(巨濟)지역 금(金)-은(銀)광상의 광화작용(鑛化作用) 연구 (Gold-Silver Mineralization of the Geojae Area)

  • 경남거제지역 금(金)-은광상(銀鑛床)들은 후기 백악기 안산암류와 화강섬록암(83 m.y.)내의 열극을 충진한 함금(含金)-은(銀) 열수맥상(熱水脈狀) 광체로 구성된다. 열수광화작용(熱水鑛化作用)은 구조운동에 의하여 시기적으로 3회에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 초기 제$370^{\circ}C$의 고온에서 후기 $200^{\circ}C$에 이르는 제 I, II 광화기(鑛化期)에서는 각기 상이한 열수계(熱水系)에 의하여 석영, 유화물이 침전하였으며, $320^{\circ}C$를 전후로 하여 광화류체(鑛化流體)의 비담(沸膽)현상이 일어났다. 제 I, II 광화작용(鑛化作用)시의 압력은 <100기압이고, 심도는 500~1,250m였다. 금(金)-은(銀)의 주광화시기(主鑛化時期)인 광화(鑛化) I 기(期)의 공생광물에 대한 유체포유물(流體包有物) 및 광물열수학적(鑛物熱水學的) 연구에 의하면, 황철석, 섬아연석, 황동석은 $290^{\circ}C$ 이상의 고온에서 비담작용(沸膽作用)과 동시에 정출하였고, 사면동석, 에렉트렘, 스튜자이트는 금(金)-유황종(硫黃種)의 농도가 $10^{-3}{\sim}10^{-4}$molal, 상당염농도(相當鹽濃度)가 2~6wt.% NaCl인 광화유체(鑛化流體)로부터 $220{\sim}260^{\circ}C$, 유황 및 산소분압이 각각 $10^{-11.8}{\sim}10^{-14}$, $10^{-35}{\sim}10^{-36}$ atm인 물리 화학적 환경하에서 침전하였다. 균질화(均質化) 온도와 염농도(相當鹽濃度)와의 관계는 천수류입(天水流入)에 의한 광화류체(鑛化流體)의 냉각(冷却) 및 희석(稀釋)작용이 광석광물 침전의 주된 메키니즘이었음을 지시해 주며, 유체내(流體內) 환원(還元) 유황종(硫黃種)($H_2S$)의 감소에 따른 금류화복합체(金硫化複合體)($Au(HS)_2$) 의 파괴로 금(金)의 침전이 유도되었으리라 사료된다. 유황 및 탄소, 산소 안정동위원소(安定同位元素) 연구(硏究)결과, 광화류체내(鑛化流體內)의 유황 및 탄소는 심부화성(深部火成)기원이었고, 방해석의 산소 안정동위원소(安定同位元素)값으로부터 열수계(熱水系)에서 천수(天水)가 지배적인 역할을 하였으리라 사료된다.

직업성 피부질환에 대한 현황 파악 및 관리 대책 수립을 위한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of Management Methods about Occupational Dermatoses)

  • Occupational dermatosis is one of the most prevalent occupational disorders. However, the extent of the occupational dermatoses including incidences and prevalencies of each disease entity, and etiologic materials are not yet welt stated in Korea. Authors reviewed the literatures on the statistic data and reports on the occupational dermatoses, and surveyed on the occupational dermatoses in two factories, and surveyed the physicians responsible to the occupational dermatoses with formed questionnaire. The results are as follows; 1. Among medical journals published since 1964, there were 31 articles on the occupational dermatoses. Of 31 articles, 18 were case reports and all others were review articles. Of 18 case reports, 9 were epidemiologic survey. The Workers' Periodic Health Examinations revealed that prevalence of the occupational dermatoses was highest(4.36 per 10,000 workers) in 1974, but number of the cases reported were decreased sharply since 1978 with some tendency to increase since 1981. There were 2,240 reported cases of occupational dermatoses between 1966 and 1992, which is 1.90% of all the reported occupational diseases. Skin infection and injuries due to chemicals were most frequent and there were 6 cases of skin cancer. 2. In an epidemiological survey on the dermatoses among 995 workers in a metal product manufacturing factory and 225 workers in a coal chemical factory, there were 794 with dermatomycosis, 296 workers with acne, 130 workers with scar, 123 workers with deformity of toe nails. Scars, photosensitivity dermatitis, deformity of finger and toe nails, and acne were more prevalent in the metal product manufacturing factory(p<0.05). In the metal prouct manufacturing factory, workers treating organic solvents and oils had more dermatoses than those without treating the materials(p<0.05). On the skin patch performed on 16 workers in the metal product manufacturing factory, there were 8 cases of irritation dermatitis and 5 cases of contact dermatitis. Prevalence of contact dermatitis in the metal product manufacturing factory was 1.3%. 3. On the questionnaire survey, 34 dermatologists, 29 doctors of preventive medicine, and 22 family physician replied. The proportion of occupational etiology among all dermatoses assumed by the physicians were below 9%, and the most important occupational dermatosis in Korea was contact dermatitis. Main etiologic materials related to the occupational dermatosis were organic solvent, acid and alkali, and metals. The reason for the scarcity of report of occupational dermatoses were difficulty in diagnosis and physician's ignorance of the occupational etiology. They replied that to prevent the occupational dermatoses in the workplace, the use of protective devices was most important, and development of diagnostic criteria on the occupational dermatoses is urgent. Above results shows us that there is many workers with occupational dermatoses, but they are mostly unreported. Measures to prevent and manage the occupational dermatoses are not satisfactory at present. Hence, authors suggest measures for the precise diagnosis, report and prevention of the occupational dermatoses. a. Dermatologist, preventive physician, and industrial hygienist should work as a team to examine the high risk group and establish the preventive measures. b. Disease entities, diagnostic criteria of occupational dermatoses should be listed, criteria for the compensation and job fitting at recruitment should be established, and manual for the proper treatment and effective prevention of each occupational dermatosis should be developed. c. Patch test antigens against each occupational category should be developed and it should be available to any physicians responsible. d. To facilitate the diagnosis of occupational dermatoses by the doctors responsible for the Workersr Periodic Health Examination, development of standardized questionnaire, education on the techniques of the patch test, and cooperation with the dermatologist in diagnosis of occupational dermatoses is essential.

Growth and yield components of rice under different NPK rates in Prateah Lang soil type in Cambodia

  • The NPK are known as macro elements that affect crop growth and yield. In 1989, Cambodia Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) gave a recommendation rate of fertilizer on rice production based on soil types. This recommended rate of NPK seems however relatively low as compared to farmers' practices nowadays and the amount in the neighboring countries. The CARDI recommended rate for Prateah Lang soil type is 50kg N, $25kg\;P_2O_5$, $25kg\;K_2O\;ha^{-1}$ while recent farmers' practice rates are 55 - 64kg N, 24 - 46kg $P_2O_5$, $30kg\;K_2O\;ha^{-1}$. However, the overuse of chemical fertilizer will lead to un-preferable plant growth, insect pest, disease and economic yield. Thus, we examined the effect of different NPK application rates on the growth and yield components in Prateah Lang soil type in Takeo province to investigate appropriate rates for improving rice productivity with economic efficiency. This study was conducted from July to November during wet season in 2013. A multi-locational trial with 6 treatments (T0 - T5) of NPK rates in 5 locations (trial 1 - 5) with 3 replications was conducted. The different combinations of NPK application were employed from 0, 50, 60, 80, 100, $120kg\;N\;ha^{-1}$, 0, 25, 30 45, $60kg\;P_2O_5\;ha^{-1}$ and 0, 15, 25, 30, $45kg\;K_2O\;ha^{-1}$. Urea, DAP and KCl were used for fertilization. Split application was employed [basal: 20% of N, 100% of P and K, top dressing-1st: 40% of N (30DAT), 2nd: 40% of N (PI stage)]. Three-week-old seedlings of var. Phka Rumdoul were transplanted with 2 - 3 seedlings $hill^{-1}$ with $20cm{\times}20cm$ spacing. Plant length, tiller number at the maximum tillering stage and yield components were measured. The different rates of NPK application affected some yield components. The panicle number per hill was the most important key component followed by the spikelet number per panicle. However, the other parameters such as the filled grain percentage and 1000 grains weight had small effect or weak relation with the yield. Although the panicle number per hill had a significantly positive correlation with the stem number per hill, it was not correlated with the percentage of productive culms. The variation in the grain yield among the 5 trials was small and the difference was not significant. Although the yield tended to be higher at higher N and P application, there was no significant difference above 60kg N and $30kg\;P_2O_5$. The yield was the highest at 15, 30 and $45kg\;K_2O$ followed by $25kg\;K_2O$. The relationships between N, P and the stem number per hill were significantly linear positive, though it was not linear between K and the stem number. From these results, to increase rice productivity in the target area, farmers' effort to increase N and P input rather than CARDI recommendation up to 60kg N and $30kg\;P_2O_5$ will be sufficient considering economic efficiency. Besides, the amount of K application should be reconsidered.

전라남도 나주시 동강면 일대 황토(풍화잔류토)의 토양학적 및 광물학적 특성 연구 (Pedological and Mineralogical Characterizations of Hwangto (Yellow Residual Soils), Naju, Jeollanam-do, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 전라남도 나주지역 황토의 토양학적 및 광물학적 특성을 확인하고 주변 모암과의 상관관계를 통해 그 기원 및 형성과정을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구지역은 전라남도 나주시 동강면 장동리이며, 토양단면(약 150 cm 깊이)의 황토를 깊이별로 상부, 중부, 하부층으로 나누어 토양학적 특성(색, pH, 입도분리)과 광물학적 특성(광물조성, 입자의 크기, 모양, 화학조성)을 연구하였다. 모암시료는 박편제작 및 현미경관찰을 통해 구성광물을 기재하고 황토의 구성광물과 연관성을 알아보았다. 연구 결과 황토는 pH 4.3~5.1 범위를 갖는 산성토이며 미사와 점토가 주로 구성된(약 95%) 미사질양토와 미사질식양토였다. 모래와 미사의 주 구성광물은 석영, 운모, 장석이며 점토는 침철석, 수산화층간 버미큘라이트, 일라이트, 카올리나이트, 할로이사이트, 질석과 소량의 석영이 포함되어 있었다. 모래와 미사의 SEM-EDX 분석을 통해 구성광물의 형태를 확인한 결과, 풍화작용으로 인해 부식되어 표면이 거칠고 산화철로 피복되어 있는 장석이 관찰되었고 하부층으로 갈수록 그 양은 증가했다. 점토는 TEM 분석을 통해 다양한 형태의 층상규산염광물이 확인되었으며, 상부에서 하부층으로 갈수록 침철석의 양이 증가했는데 이는 상부 층에서 용탈된 산화철이 하부층으로 이동되어 집적된 것으로 사료된다. 황토의 모암으로 사료되는 주변의 암석은 석영, 사장석, 흑운모, 녹니석 등으로 이루어진 화강반암이었다. 즉, 화강암류의 모암에서 장석과 운모 등이 풍화작용을 받아 일라이트, 질석, 수산화층간버미큘라이트 및 카올리나이트로 변하였으며 침철석은 흑운모 풍화에 의해 형성된 것으로서, 본 연구지역의 황토는 오랜 기간 풍화작용에 의해 형성된 풍화잔류토로 판단된다.

경북-강원일대 탄산약수의 수질화학과 탄산 및 영족기체 기원 (Hydrochemistry and Origin of Noble Gases and $CO_2$ Gas Within Carbonated Mineral Waters in the Kyeoungbuk-Kangwon Province, Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 경북 봉화지역, 강원도 오대산 및 춘천지역에서 산출되는 8개 탄산약수터에서 11개 탄산약수 시료를 대상으로 수리화학적 특성을 규명하고, 용존무기탄소의 동위원소(${\delta}^{13}C_{DIC}$)분석을 통해 탄산가스의 기원을 해석하며, 영족기체 동위원소($^3He/^4He$, $^{20}Ne/^{22}Ne$)의 동위원소 존재비를 분석하여 탄산가스의 기원과 연계한 영족기체의 기원을 밝히고자 하였다. 연구결과 탄산약수의 수리화학적 특성은 pH 5.59~6.04 범위로 약산성의 특성을 보이고, 전기전도도 값은 $302{\sim}864\;{\mu}S/cm$ 범위를 보인다. 모든 탄산약수의 수리화학적 유형은 Ca-$HCO_3$ 형에 속한다. 특히 Fe, Mn의 함량이 높아 음용수 수질기준치를 초과한다. 연구지역 탄산약수의 ${\delta}^{13}C_{DIC}$ 값은 -2.84~5.3‰ 범위를 보이므로 $CO_2$의 기원은 주로 심부기원이며, 물-암석 반응과정에서 탄산염광물등의 영향을 일부 받은 것으로 해석된다. 탄산약수의 $^3He/^4He$ 동위원소비와 $^4He/^{20}Ne$동위원소비 상관관계에서 탄산약수는 기원상 3개의 군으로 분류된다. 맨틀과 같은 심부기원의 영역, 대기기원에 가까운 영역, 맨틀기원과 대기기원의 혼합영역으로 도시된다. 이는 심부기원의 영족기체가 천부지하수와 지표노출에 의해 대기기원과 혼합된 것으로 해석되며, 맨틀과 같은 심부기원의 헬륨가스의 공급은 지질경계 및 단층과 같은 지질구조와 밀접한 관계가 있는 것으로 추정된다.

냉장저장 중 사과 슬라이스의 갈변에 미치는 갈변저해제의 효과 (Effects of Antibrowning agents on browning of apple slices during cold storage)

  • 냉장 저장 시 사과슬라이스의 갈변정도 및 조직감과 같은 물리적인 변화와 PPO활성, 총페놀 함량등의 화학적 변화를 측정하였으며 관능검사를 행하여 비교하였으며 또한 이들 변화들 간의 상관관계를 알아본 결과는 다음과 같다. 갈변 정도는 fresh apple slice, 물에 침지한 시료군, CP 시료군, ascorbic acid 시료군 모두 증가하는 경향을 나타냈으며 그 크기는 fresh apple slice>물에 침지한 시료군>ascorbic acid 시료군>CP 시료군 순이었으며, PPO활성은 시료군 모두 증가하는 경향을 나타냈으며 그 크기는 fresh apple slice>물에 침지한 시료군>ascorbic acid 시료군>CP 시료군 순이었으며 CP 시료군의 증가가 가장 낮았다. 총페놀 함량은 fresh apple slice군은 60 mg/100 g에서 56.2 mg/100 g로 감소하는 경향을 보였으나 물에 침지한 시료군은 59.6 mg/100 g에서 56.0 mg/100 g으로, CP 시료군, ascorbic acid 처리군은 51.9 mg/100 g에서 52.8mg/100 g로, 54.1 mg/100 g에서 54.4 mg/100 g로 나타났다. 조직감은 시료군 모두 감소하는 경향을 보였으며 그 크기는 fresh apple slice>물에 침지한 시료군>ascorbic acid 시료군>CP 시료군 순으로 감소하였다. 또한 관능 검사에서 CP 시료군이 다른 처리군들 보다 더 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 상관관계 분석에서 갈변 정도와 PPO활성, 총페놀 함량 등이 높은 상관성을 나타내었다. 이러한 연구결과로 사과 슬라이스의 냉장 저장중 효소적 갈변 변화에 대한 영향에서 카라멜 생성물에 침지한 CP 시료군이 효소적 갈변에 대한 저해 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 기타 다른 요인에서도 효과적인 것으로 나타나 sucrose의 카라멜 생성물을 채소 및 과일의 저장 과정에 갈변 억제물질로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

釜山市 小規模工業의 立地와 意思決定에 關한 硏究 (A Study on the Locational Factors of Small Industry in Pusan, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 都市內 小規模 工業의 立地決定要因을 규명하기 위한 行態的 硏究의 일환으로, 부산시의 소규모 工業經營者들이 都市內部에 공장임지를 결정함에 있어서 실제로 고려하눈 立地要因이 무엇이며, 또한 그 요인은 기업특성, 경영자특성, 입지장소의 용도지역상 성격에 따라 차이가 있는가를 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산시내 소규모 공업경영자들을 대상으로 설문지에 의한 면접조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 소규모 공업의 입지결정에 영향을 미치는 요인이 기업의 특성은 물론 경영자 및 용도지역의 특성에 따라 많은 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 도시내부의 비공업지역에 소규모 공장이 입지함에 있어서 토지를 비롯한 경제적 요인과 더불어 비경제적 요인이 상당한 영향을 미치고 있음은 입지정책에 시사하는 바가 크다고 볼 수 있다.

쌀겨, 보릿겨 처리가 부추와 토란의 생육과 수량 및 잡초방제에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Rice Bran and Barley Bran Application on Growth and Yield of Chinese Chive (Allium tuberosum Rottler) and Taro (Colocasia esculenta) and Weed Control)

  • 본 연구는 쌀겨, 보릿겨, 태운 쌀겨 및 태운보릿겨를 부추와 토란을 파종하기 전에 시용하고 이들 작물의 생육과 수량증대에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수행하였다. 이들 4가지 겨류를 처리하고 처리 후 13, 27, 41, 57일 째 조사한 결과 부추의 초장은 보릿겨수비 처리구에서는 조사 전 기간에서 무처리구보다 유의적으로 컸던 반면 다른 처리구에서는 큰 차이를 볼 수 없었다. 또한 겨류처리에 의한 부추 개체수에서도 무처리와 큰 차이가 없었다. 그러나 처리 후 57일 째 조사한 생체중은 무처리구에 비해 4가지 겨류처리구에서 약 2배 많았다. 이들 차이가 토양 화학성분과 관련성이 있는지 알아보기 위해 처리 후 57일째에 토양의 화학성분을 분석한 결과 겨류를 처리한 토양에는 유기물과 유효인산 등이 풍부하였다. 부추 예취 후 14일에 재생한 부추의 지상부 생체중은 4가지 겨류 처리구에서 무처리구에 비해 높은 경향이었으나 보릿겨 처리구에서만 무처리구에 비해 유의적으로 높았다. 4가지 겨류 처리 후 10cm 토란을 이식한 경우, 보릿겨처리구에서만 토란의 지상부 및 지하부 생장량이 무처리에 비해 증가하였다. 그러나 겨류처리 후 종자를 파종 한 경우 오히려 겨류처리에 의해 토란 수량이 감소한 것으로 보아 겨류효과는 작물의 종류 및 이식시기에 따라 다름을 알 수 있었다. Pot 조건하에서 쌀겨 및 보릿겨 처리(2,000, $4,000kg\;ha^{-1}$) 후 15일에 조사한 피, 바랭이, 명아주 및 까마중에 대한 잡초방제 효과는 아주 적었고, 포장조건하에서도 겨류처리에 의한 잡초방제 효과는 아주 적었다. 그러나 쌀겨를 ha당 4,000kg 처리 수준에서는 배추와 쑥갓에서 각각 62.6%와 37.2% 생육 저해가 나타났고 그 밖의 옥수수, 호박, 오이 및 부추의 경우에서는 0~19.6%의 생육저해 현상이 나타났다. 보릿겨의 경우도 배추를 제외한 작물종에서 쌀겨와 유사한 생육저해를 보였다.

  • The small scale industries which have less than 30 employees occupy 86.5% of total number of industries in Korea. And though they have higher accident rate and lower environmental condition than big industries, it has been not mandatory to appointing health care manager at factory. So, from 1993, government subsidizes to the health care management of small industries. The purpose of this study is to identify the real feature of health care status in small industries, and to evaluate the level of health care management, before and after the subsidiary program. 65 small plating industries which have been managed by the same health care management support institution in 1993 were selected for study. Of the 65 industries, 3 which have not taken both environmental evaluation and health screening in 1994, and 9 which have closed were excluded from study sample. And the remaining 53 were analyzed by using the results of environmental evaluation and health screening, reported to the Ministry of Labor, before and after the subsidiary program, the analysis was done by the comparison of the two year paired data of the same industry. Over-permissible-limit rate, health screening implementation rate, above grade C rate were calculated and compared. The status of health care management ; 1. Of the sample industries, 96.9% provide protective equipment and 80.0% set up ventilating system. Protective gloves (89.2%) and protective clothing (80.0%) are widely provided, but ear plugs (4.6%) are rarely provided. 21.5% of the protective equipment are well put on, and 40.4% of the ventilating systems function well. 2. In 1993, 35 industries, 53.8% of the sample, checked working environment twice. Over-permissible-limit rates of heavy metal (12.2%), suspended particle (11.1%), noise (5.5%) were high. To put on protective equipment and to set up local ventilating system were pointed out by the examiners. 3. General health screening was done at 63.1% of the sample industries and 35.3% of total workers were examined. Specific health screening was done at 93.8% of the sample industries and 75.4% of workers were examined. 15.5% of workers was provided to be above grade C and to have digestive system disease (43.3%), circulatory disease (18.9%), and hematopoietic disease (14.2%), etc. 4. In 1993, the subsidiary program of health care management was provided in forms of health education, health counseling, and rounding check of working field. And 61.5%, 83.0%, 55.4% of sample industries respectively received it. The average visit per industry was 1.8. Comparisons of the level of occupational health before and after the subsidiary program ; 1. Over-permissible-limit rates of hazardous factors of 1993 and that of 1994 were compared. The rates of suspended particle, noise, organic solvent of 1994 (37.5%, 13.4%, 24.2% respectively) were higher than that of 1993 (25.0%, 6.0%, 6.3% respectively). In the case of acid, there was no difference between the rate of 1993 and that of 1994. Only the rate of heavy metal decreased from 12.9% in 1993 to 3.0% in 1994. 2. General health screening was done at 38.7% of the sample industries in 1993 and at 44.6% in 1994. But the implementation rate of specific health screening decreased from 72.4% in 1993 to 64.6% in 1994. 3. The implementation rate of specific health screening was analyzed by some health factors. The rate of suspended particle increased from 61.8% in 1993 to 91.2% in 1994. But the rates of the others-noise, organic solvent, heavy metal, specific chemical substances-decreased. 4. Above grade C rate in health screening increased from 27.8% in 1993 to 35.5% in 1994. But that of endocrine disorders and pulmonary disease decreased.
