The characteristics of spring machanism In the Cheju Island were analyzed by statistical techniques. Basic characteristics, areal and altitudinal variations, and correlations of spring data were investigated. In this study. however, the subjects of the study are the 451 springs, the whole basin of Cheju Island derided Into four groups. In this study, analyzed the spring phenomena on the basis of both the geologic elements and the topogaphic elements. Also, the spring zone In Cheju Island are classified Into three types that the mountain area, the muddle area, the coastal area in spring distribution by attitude. The quentity of spring and variability show subvariety on the average according to Meinzer's classilfication and the whole basin of spring shows various distributions from Third to Sixth. The results of this study can be utilized to evaluate the condition of groundwater development In Cheju Island.

As a result of the detection of mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA) polymorphism to Thoroughbred and Percheron using 14 restriction enzymes, mtDNA polymorphism of Cheju horse observed in the Bam HI and Sac I. Only in both restriction enzymes two types were classified as of A type, which is high expression frequency and B type, which is low expression frequency. In the other 12 restriction enzymes mtDNA polymorphism was not detected. On the basis of this information mtDNA polymorphism of Cheju horse was examined but was not observed the polymorphism and only A type was expressed both Bam HI and Sac I restriction enzymes. Through this study Cheju horse was demonstrated that lower genetic variation was expressed from the detection of mtDNA polymorphism.

Cheju's local foods are various but Island being geographically surrounded by water, sea-foods play a greater part in the diet that is quite different from the mainland Most of dishes are prepared from local foods and the marine products. In this research, we have concluded that developing a cheju's traditional food manu and local manu cooking method. 1. Use the only Boneless fish. 5. taste reformation of Fermentation Food - Masking the TMA etc. 6. Use the many Spice in local food.

This study has been carried out to investigate the effect of vacuum on the thermal performance of a nonglass evacuated tube. A series of measurements are made indoors to monitor the temperature change of the absorber plate contained in the evacuated tube under different conditions of vacuum and heat fluxes. Those temperatures measured at the thermal equilibrium could be used to assess the heat losses to the ambient in link with the steady operation of non-glass evacuated tubes for solar exploitation.

The Opuntia ficus-indica extract(OFE) has been claimed to have several therapeutic properties including anti-inflammation and anti-rheumatoid arthritis in oriental medicine but little is known about their effect on macrophages. This study demonstrated that OFE could stimulate TNF-alpha production in cultured macrophages. which is one of important mediators in autoimmune diseases including experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE). In vivo study showed that oral administration of OFE exacerbate the onset of clinical paralysis. This finding suggests that OFE stimulates cytokine production and exacerbates autoimmune inflammatory diseases including EAE.

In this paper, the open loop antenna using a strip-conductor for an RFID reader at dual-band frequency(910MHz, 2.45GHz) is proposed. The impedance is matched by varying the antenna parameters such as the length of strip-conductor and the gap of between two strip-conductors. Return loss and gain of designed antenna are -11.919dB, 2.5dBi at 910MHz, and -15.766dB, 5.65dBi at 2.45GHz, respectively.

In a survey of the internal parasites of 1000 swine at Quelpart Island (Cheju-do), Incidence of the parasites was 99.6 percent and negative result was 0.4 percent only. The results was obtained as follows; Metastrongylus apri-51.6% Ascarops strongylina-23.5% Hyostrongylus rubidus -4.1% Trichuris suis -34.8% Ascaris lumbricoides-64.3% Cesophagostomum spp. -74.9% Strongyloides ransomi-8.1% Cysticercus cellulosae -3.8% Cysticercus tenuicollis -17.1% Echinococcus -11.8% Coccidia -61.5% Balantidium coli -23.4%.

Herbicide resistance is the most common trait being tested and thus herbicide?resistant genetically modified plants are now the most widely cultivated worldwide. Here we developed herbicide?resistant transgenic Agrostis mongolica Roshev. by employing an efficient Agrobacterium?mediated transformation procedure with 25.2% of transformation efficiency. The identification and employment of regenerable and reproducible type of callus was one of the most critical factors to ensure success in this study. PCR analysis confirmed that the bar transgene was integrated into the genome of transgenic plants. The expression of 35S?bar gene was confirmed by Northern blot analysis. The transgenic plants showed complete resistance to herbicide, indicating that the bar gene is functional in transgenic plants.

TPEG 메시지들은 바이트 기반 스트림 형태로 제작되고, 서비스 제공자의 데이터베이스에서부터 최종 사용자의 장비까지 교통 및 여행정보(TTI)관련 응용서비스 정보를 전달하기 위해 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 도로 교통정보에 대한 구간 및 지역별로 인터넷상에서 서비스 중인 지역 ITS정보에 대한 패킷을 분석하여 그 정보를 휴대용 단말기 상에서 구현하고자, TPEG 표준안 중 CTT 정보와 호환성을 갖도록 인코더를 제작하였고, 수신된 TPEG 메시지에 대한 디코더를 구현하였다. TPEG 디코더가 내장된 단말기 상에서 지역별 혼잡정보와, 구간별 소통정보 등을 지도정보와 매칭되어 실시간으로 표현되도록 구현하여, 현재 인터넷상에서 서비스 되고 있는 ITS 정보와 그 기능을 비교, 검토함으로서 네비게이션 단말기, PMP, PDA 등 휴대용 단말기에서 TPEG 기반 ITS 정보 제공서비스의 효용성을 입증하였다.
