  • The national management and retrieval service of the national scholar Content DB are very important. High quality content can improve the user's utilization and satisfaction and be a strong base for both the citation index creation and the calculation of journal impact factors. Therefore, the system is necessary to check data quality effectively. We have closely studied and developed a webbased data quality checking system that will support anything from raw digital data to its automatic validation as well as hands-on validation, all of which will be discussed in this paper.

  • This paper describe the implementation or the boot loader for the boot system using of memory card. This boot roader consist of the system initialization, CF card checking, CF memory card checking, file system and the program relocator. This boot loader increase the system stability with program consistency checking algorithm in the read phase from the CF memory card. And this system have the compatibility in CF memory card file system, so system manufacturing productivity increase.

  • This paper shows a whole noise quality checking system for the new developed 6th speed automatic transmission manufactured in USA. Due to demand for manufacturing of the high NVH quality transmissions in the mass product line, some special checking system called EOL is adapted. This EOL system is using vibration analysis technologies. Through adapting vibration analysis technologies and functions likewise RMS, Crest Factor, Harmonics, Peak, Band, and Order tracking, various noise problems caused by wear, nick, and deformations could be successfully detected and predicted. Therefore, automatic transmissions manufactured in the USA could get high NVH quality.

  • The verification confirms a correspondence between requirements and a specification before implementing. The problem in the formal method verifying a protocol specification using model checking is that the protocol behaviors must be always specified in L TS(Label Transition System). But if Region Automata is applied to the model checking, it is enable to verify whether properties are true on specification specified in I/O FSM(Input/Output Finite State Machine) as well as LTS. In this paper, we verify the correctness of rail signal control protocol type 1 specified in I/O FSM by using model checking method and region automata. This removes many errors and ambiguities of an informal method used in the past and saves down expenditures and times required in the protocol development. Therefore it is expected that there will be an increase in safety, reliability and efficiency in terms of the maintenance of the signaling system by using the proposed verification methods.

  • The objective of this study is to develop the practical program which can check the constructible possibility of prestressed concrete box girder bridges for design. Checking constructible possibility is defined as checking the interference of each elements in a PSC box girder bridge and computing the distances of each elements. To check the constructible possibility of a PSC box girder bride, bridge must be modelled using solid in three dimension. By using a 3 dimensional solid modeling system, engineers can get the photo realistic 3D viewing images of the bridge and produce FEM analytic model of it. Users can manipulate their drawings easier and take off quantity of the whole structure and its elements as well as check the constructible possibility of their PSC box girder bridges.

  • In an English multiple Wh-construction with two wh-words, only a higher-located wh-word in a sentence structure is allowed to pre-pose to the Spec of CP, which has been known as a Superiority Effect(SE). Contrary to English, Korean and Japanese have been known not to respect SE, and this phenomenon has been called an Anti-Superiority Effect(ASE). Recent studies including Takita et al(2007) and Harada(2015) among others, however, have suggested exceptional cases to ASE in Japanese, and attempted to explain them through a feature checking mechanism within the Minimalist Program(MP) by Chomsky(1995, 1998). Such explanations of MP, which are based on the abstract feature checking system, have recently been considered just as a kind of technicalia and should be backed up with further empirical evidence. In this paper, I show that there are also exceptions to ASE in Korean, and the exceptional cases to ASE both in Korean and Japanese can be well explainable based on the empirical evidence of Korean/Japanese morpho-syntax.

  • One of the methodologies for the type-checking of an expression is the attribute grammar. But this attribute grammar is difficult to write because two attributes should be used with the full understanding of parsing steps. So this paper proposes a methodology to construct an expression attribute grammar easily. It shows the possibility to check the type of an expression with only one attribute through a grammar construction method.

  • The most important non-functional requirements for dependability of any Embedded Real-Time Safety Systems are safety, availability and reliability requirements. System architecture plays the primary role in achieving these requirements. Compliance with these non-functional requirements should be ensured early in the development cycle with appropriate considerations during architectural design. In this paper, we present an application of system architecture modeling for quantitative assessment of system dependability. We use probabilistic model checker (PRISM), for dependability analysis of the DTMC model derived from system architecture model. In general, the model checking techniques do not scale well for analyzing large systems, because of prohibitively large state space. It limits the use of model checking techniques in analyzing the systems of practical interest. We propose abstraction based compositional analysis methodology to circumvent this limitation. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology has been demonstrated using the case study involving the dependability analysis of safety system of a large Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR).

  • Although model checking has gained its popularity as one of the most effective approaches to the formal verification, it has to deal with the state explosion problem to be widely used in industry. In order to mitigate the problem, this paper proposes an ion technique to obtain a reduced model M' from a given original model M. Our technique Identifies the set of necessary variables for model checking and projects the state space onto them. The model M' is smaller in both size and behavior than the original model M, written M'$\leq$M. Since the result of reachability analysis with M' is preserved in M, we can do reachability analysis with model checking using M' instead of M. The abstraction technique is applied to Push Push games, and two model checkers - Cadence SMV and NuSMV - are used to solve the games. As a result, most of unsolved games with the usual model checking are solved with the ion technique. In addition, ion shows that there is much of time and space improvement. With Cadence SMV, there is 87% time improvement and 79% space one. And there is 83% time improvement and 56% space one with NuSMV.

  • This paper examines the interpolation algorithms and error criteria using stateline based control architectures that is proposed in the University of British Columbia. The main purpose of this paper is checking the influences of jerk in error criteria and judging several interpolation algorithms that are used for positioning. The performance of the extended error criteria and interpolation algorithm are demonstrated by simulation. It is found that a slight improvement was achieved by applying jerk in the error checking criteria and that spline interpolation yields stable result.
