FRP 이음방식에 따른 구조강도 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Strength Characteristics of the FRP Bonding Method)

  • 본 연구는 해상에서의 안전사고의 경감과 국민의 생명을 보호하기 위한 목적으로 자체 연구를 수행하여 FRP의 수리공법인 Butt Joint, Lap Joint, V-Scarf Joint(12t, 16t, 20t), X-Scarf Joint(12t 16t, 20t)의 인장강도와 굽힘강도를 통해 이음방식에 따른 구조강도 특성을 실험하였다. 이음 방법에 따른 인장강도와 굽힘강도의 시험편을 종합 분석한 결과, 인장강도의 강도와 굽힘강도의 그래프 패턴은 비슷한 양상으로 증가와 감소를 하였으며, 인장강도와 굽힘강도 모두 X-Scarf-Butt Joint-V-Scarf-Lap Joint 순으로 강도가 우수하였다. 인장강도는 강도특성이 가장 우수한 X-Scarf라 하더라도 Basic Material의 57% 수준의 강도를 나타내었고 굽힘강도는 X-Scarf가 Basic Material의 77% 수준의 강도를 나타내었다. 종합적으로 Over-Lay 구분을 포함하여 X-Scarf 12t 이음이 인장강도, 굽힘강도 특성이 우수하였으며 Lap Joint가 가장 좋지 않았다. Scarf 이음시 Taper 길이에 따른 강도의 차이는 V-Scarf 이음은 Taper의 길이가 가장 큰 20t가 인장강도, 굽힘강도 특성이 우수한 반면 X-Scarf 이음은 Taper의 길이가 가장 짧은 12t가 인장강도, 굽힘강도 특성이 우수하여 상반되는 결과를 나타내었다. 선박에는 많은 Stress가 작용하여 시험편만을 가지고 실험한 본 연구와 직접적인 비교는 힘들지만, 재료의 가장 기본 특성을 인장강도와 굽힘강도 시험을 통해 확인할 수 있다. FRP 국부적인 수리 방법인 Butt Joint, Lap Joint, V-Scarf, X-Scarf 4가지의 이음방법에 따른 시험값과 모재 대비 감소되는 비율을 제시하였고 추가적으로 V-Scarf와 X-Scarf의 Taper 길이별 특성을 12t, 16t, 20t로 구분한 결과값을 제시함으로써 수리 현장에서의 위치별 특성에 맞는 수리 방법의 응용이 가능하도록 하였다.

Hypsochromic Shifts in Retinochrome Absorption Spectra in the Presence of Nitrate

  • The absorption wavelength of the protonated retinal Schiff base can be controlled by the surrounding environment. An external anion is related to fine adjustment of the absorption wavelength. The addition of anion to retinochrome solution caused blue shift in spectra. The increase of the shift was dependent on the ion concentration. The large shift value was obtained as 20 nm at the saturated concentration of nitrate. The shift intensity for the nitrate addition exceeded that of chloride. Seemingly, it depends on the ionic strength or lyotropic character of the anion. However, neither of sulphate nor gluconate ion showed remarkable blue shift. These phenomena were accounted for with (1) delocalization of the positive charge in the conjugated polyene system, (2) ionic bonding strength between the counter ion (glutamate) and the proton, and/or (3) interaction of the added anion with the proton on Schiff base.

  • 수용액중에서 Nd(III)와 Ho(III) 이온의 hypersensitive 전이대의 oscillator strength에 미치는 몇가지 리간드의 효과를 연구하였다. 이때에 사용한 리간드는 furoate, anthranilate와 squarate이다. 각 착화합물에 있어서 금속-리간드 결합간에 존재하는 공유결합성을 리간드의 $pK_a$와 착화합물의 hypersensitive 전이대의 oscillator strength 사이에 정립된 관계에 근거를 두고 논하였다.

  • We developed large diameter sampler (we called KICT type large diameter sampler) to obtain undisturbed clay and sand samples. In-situ test carried out in the In-Chon international airport and Kim-Hae. Also we obtained undisturbed sample with a hydraulic piston sampler in the nearly site and carried out unconfined compression test, consolidation test and triaxial test. The result, unconfined compression strength, secant modules, preconsolidation pressure and undrained shear strength of samples to obtain KICT type large diameter sampler are larger than that of samples to obtain hydraulic piston sampler. But failure strains and volume changes at the consolidation of samples to obtain KICT type large diameter sampler are smaller than that of samples to obtain hydraulic piston sampler

  • To analysis the failure character of Low-Heat concrete which is used to prevent the thermal crack caused by hydration heat, static loading test was performed by this test method, "Determination of the Fracture Energy of Motar and Concrete by Means of Three-Point Band Tests on Notched Beam" (suggested by RILEM 50-FMC Committe). This study compared and analysised the fracture energy of Mode I (opening mode), the most general pattern in the view of water-cemente ratio(W/C), compressive strength and age of Ordinary Portland Concrete and Low-Heat Concrete under the same mixture. The test results show that the case of Ordinary Portland Concrete and Low-Heat Concrete, low Water-Cemente ratio(W/C) cause the increase of fracture energy, and high failure-strength decrease failure-deflection, and the fracture energy of Low-Heat Concrete is similar to Ordinary Portland Concrete as the age increase. increase.

  • As a series of the studies of EPDM-polymer blonds, the experiments are concentrated to the investigation of the physical properties of the EPDM-BR blends. The results are shown as follows: 1. In blending, tensile strength and elongation decreased with increase in EPDM contents. 2. The resistance for aging and ozone were much improved after blending. It was effective more :han the ratio of EPDM/BR is 50/50. 3. Tear strength is less influenced after blending and rebound character decreased with increase in EPDM contents.

  • As a series of the studies of EPDM-Polymer blends, the experiments are concentracted to the investigation of the physical properties of the EPDM-NBR blends. The results are shown as follows; 1. As EPDM addition ratio is increased, the physical properties such as resistance to ozone and aging have also improved, on the other hand, elongation and abrasion resistance decreased. 2. Tear strength is less influenced by blending and character after aging exhibited the same result. 3. Tensile strength decreased with increase in EPDM contents, especially the ratio of EPDM/NBR are 50/50 and 75/25.

In blending, tensile strength decreased with increase in EPDM contents and decreasing value was good results than various EPDM blending. 2. As EPDM Addition ratio is increased physical properties such as elongation have also improved, on the other hand, hardness and abrasion resistance decreased. 3. Aging resistance is less influenced by blending. 4. Tear strength is less influenced by blending and character after aging exhibited the same result. 5. Ozone resistance was much improved after blending. It was effective more than the ratio of EPDM/CR is 25/75.

티타늄 및 구리증착이 알루미나 곡강도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Titanium and Copper Coatings on the Modulus of Rupture of Alumina)

  • The effects of coating of 3$\mu\textrm{m}$ thickness on the mechanical property of alumina after heat treatment at 100$0^{\circ}C$ for 30minutes under $10^{-6}$torr vacuum was quantified in terms of modulus of rupture(MOR) using Weibull plot. While the copper coating did not change MOR of alumina due to the nonwetting behavior of Cu on $Al_2O_3$, the reactive titanium metal coating caused a noticeable 29% reduction in averaged MOr strength. This was related with the combined effects of microcracks in coating formed during heat treatment and good bonding character between Ti and $Al_2O_3$. The effect of cosputtering of Ti and Cu, bilayer coatings of Cu/Ti and Ti/Cu were also investigated. It was found that Ti, cosputtered, Cu/ti and Ti/Cu coatings reduced MOR strength of alumina in the order listed. This was correlated with the amount of Ti at coating/alumina inter-face associated with a coated layer or segregation of Ti during heat treatment.
