  • Many advanced scholars and policy makers say that biotechnology is and will be the most important technology in 21th century. And biotechnology has a lots of character which are new and high tech industry, costing too much on early R&D stage and so on. One of them is that it can't be developed all seater by one single firm. So effective and efficient way to solve this generic problem is using the infrastructure which is given by government for flourishing the bio industry, especially, Knowledge infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to understand and give the information about which knowledge infrastructure affects biotechnology firms to obtain competitive advantage in technological improvement. To develop this object, I made 5 variables about infrastructure in biotechnology such as high-skilled researchers infrastructure, R&D policy infrastructure, industrialization infrastructure that supports the biotechnology industry, networking infrastructure between firms, universities, research centers, and finally bio-safety infrastructure. According to this study, to obtain technological competitive advantage for Korean bio firms, all main actors those are government, industry, university, research center they try to develop bio sector at the same time. After this cooperated effort, Korean bio firms and industry can get a international competitiveness in the global society which no one conquer the market.

  • The digital contents industry has now become the most important industry in the 21st century. Among the various digital contents industries, the animation industry has emerged as a higher value-added culture contents business with a strong possibility of growth from the field of image and character to the copyright area. Yet, the overall market structure has not been consolidated except for a few successful projects because of the sharp decline in domestic animation and the upward trend in global animation business. Due to reduced investment in producing TV animations, OSMU is an essential alternative for the animation industry. In this research, we aim to analyze the development of the domestic animation industries by studying the actual condition of OSMU for broadcasting contents.

  • One of the core pillars of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the innovation of the manufacturing industry. From the beginning, the 4th Industrial Revolution appeared in Germany under the concept of 'Industrial 4.0', which means a radical change in the manufacturing industry that can provide super intelligent product production and services based on artificial intelligence and big data. Since manufacturing innovation is a change in the industrial character of the entire nation, the initial role of government is important. Korea also has various policies related to the 4th Industrial Revolution, but there are still various problems to be solved. Therefore, this paper monitors and analyzes the public R&D projects of the advanced countries on manufacturing innovations in the background mentioned above, and through this, the policy implications are drawn.

  • The characters that could be connected to diverse cultural contents have formed diverse platforms with the development of digital technology, and the size of the relevant industry and market is rapidly growing. Recently, the utilization of character emoticons for smartphone messenger has been rapidly increased, so that the characters are settled down as a tool for non-verbal communication, on top of drawing attention as an independent area. With the expansion of character market, the importance of design that could give interest and familiarity to consumers is more emphasized. The body proportion of characters includes the implicative and symbolic meanings that could express diverse personalities. Thus, this study examined the body proportion of the characters with the high consumers' preference, and then analyzed the characteristics of formative elements of character design in accordance with the body proportion. In the results of the analysis, the exaggerated form of SD characters in two or three-head figure, and the realistic Real characters in seven or eight-head figure were preferred. For the SD characters, the colors with a high chroma showing the cute and cheerful image were used. For the Real characters, the cubic effect was expressed through the colors with active images and the light and shade of color. Even though the SD characters have limited motions due to the omitted body parts, the facial movements of animation characters are exaggerated while the Real characters describe the realistic and dynamic motions.

Also, Korea's kid's content market has been thriving for a long time, but recently, a company called Smart Study has sharply raised Korea's status because of its competitive advantage and capability in the kid's content industry. Research design, data and methodology: This research has explored and examined how Smart Study was successful in kid's content industries. Also, the research examined the present and potential competitors in the kid's content industry. Results: We investigated and explored how they were different from other Korean kid industries through value, rare, inimitability, and organization (VRIO) framework. Conclusions: One of the primary reasons for their success is because Smart Study has strengths in marketing that brand character and making consumers loyal to the company. Lastly, this paper attempted to explain how they have promoted their company and investigated how other companies promote themselves in the kid's content industry. This paper has limitations. • Today the distribution of characters in the consumer market based on digital smart phones is expanding, and the characters themselves are sold with independent merchandise, also various application researches about character are being activated. However, depending on the style of worker 's work on the design process of Korea and China regarding characters, there are differences in design characteristics and the diversity of work. In this study, we attempted to investigate the implications of these designers on the development of creative character design through in-depth research and experiment. Therefore, previous researches of cognitive science were investigated and cognitive experiments were conducted on design process for experts. For this research experiment, the initial sketch stage in the character work of Korea and China was recorded by the method of the designer by the subject through the protocol analysis method which is the qualitative research method. We coded the collected language based on this recording experiment and analyzed the problem behavior. We examined how the cognitive acts are done by the designer to develop the characters. The behavior characteristics and the accidental characteristics. The differences of the behavioral characteristics and the accidental characteristics in each step of the character design process were identified. Through these cognitive experiments, we could examine the behavior analysis of the design thinking process in Korea and China. In the field of design practice, we can set the direction of the design work process of the two countries and help us to produce creative and individual results. I think. These studies are expected to contribute to practical application of product marketing and new cooperation development methods in terms of activation of character industry in the future.

  • The Korean film market has revved up against American movies and the movie industry has continued to grow even though Korea is a small country. However, most production staffs who are responsible for practical business of film production get wages that fall short of the inflation rate and minimum wages as temporary employees. And there's the atmosphere that they try to leave film sites on the first opportunity. This study finds that the cause to leave film sites is attributed to perception gaps about the hardworking character and labor which occur in the process that production staffs enter the movie industry and participate in film production as well as poor surroundings. And it should establish staffs' hardworking character and recognition as workers to them by reorganizing the current curriculums which approach movies from the only artistic viewpoint in the departments related to movies and images that hold a large majority in their majors, establishing the concept of work according to participation in film production to potential production staffs, and changing their recognition to improve the elements that they leave the sites.
