Household chaos, represented by high levels of disorganization and instability in the home, has been linked with suboptimal outcomes for preschoolers. The aim of this study was to examine the roles that sleep problems and executive function play in the association between household chaos and preschoolers' aggression and prosocial behavior. The sample for the study consisted of 420 preschoolers and their mothers. The mothers provided reports on the level of chaos in the home and their preschoolers' sleep problems, executive function, and social behavior, including aggression and prosocial behavior. The data was analyzed using structural equation modeling. When preschoolers' sleep problems and executive function were included in the model as mediators, the results indicated that household chaos did not have direct effects on preschoolers' aggression and prosocial behavior. Such effects were instead serially mediated by preschoolers' sleep problems and executive function, respectively. The higher the degree of household chaos, the more preschoolers displayed sleep problems and deficits in executive function, resulting in more aggression and less prosocial behavior. The findings from this study emphasize the significance of reducing household chaos in order to reduce preschoolers' aggression and promote prosocial behavior. They also underscore the need to identify additional variables that mediate the impact of household chaos on preschoolers' social outcomes.

본 연구의 목적은 Matheny et al.(1995)이 개발한 가정 내 혼란 척도(Confusion, Hubbub, and Order Scale; CHAOS)를 한국 문화에 적합하게 번안하여 타당화하는 것이다. 일련의 과정을 거쳐 문항을 번안하여 예비문항을 구성한 뒤, 만 5세 미만의 아동의 부모를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 189명의 자료로 타당화를 실시하였다. 기술 통계 분석 결과 정규성을 충족하였고, 문항-총점 간 상관이 적합하였으며, 내적 일관성 지수는 안정적으로 나타났다. 확인적 요인 분석을 통해 최종적으로 13문항이 확정되었으며, 신뢰도 Cronbach's α 값은 .881로 나타났다. 마지막으로 가정 내 혼란 척도와 양육 스트레스의 전체 점수와 하위척도 점수 간 상관계수가 유의함을 확인하여 공인타당도를 검증하였다. 한국판 가정 내 혼란척도(K-CHAOS)는 개인의 심리사회적 발달에 영향을 미치는 가정의 물리적 환경을 측정하는 척도로, 향후 연구에서 미시체계 내 물리적 환경을 고려하는 데 기여할 수 있다.

In this paper, a discrete-time S-dimensional chaos circuit (S = 1,2,3,4,...) with array structure is proposed. By employing array structure which consists of 1-dimensional chaos circuits, the proposed circuit can achieve long working-life. This feature is favorable to exploit as a building block of chaos application systems to get into home electric appliances. Further more, the proposed circuit synthesized using switched-current (SI) techniques is suitable for integration. Concerning the proposed circuit, SPICE simulations are performed. SPICE simulations showed that the proposed circuit can generate the chaotic signals in spite of the fault of the building blocks of the proposed circuit. The proposed circuit is integrable by a standard BiCMOS technology.

Intelligent control technologies (fuzzy logic, neural network, chaos, and genetic algorithm) have been a great deal of influences and impact, especially in home appliances industry. As a result, products that utilize these technologies are pouring into the market from just about every companies. These products are getting good responses from the consumers, because they offer convenience and amenities through the intelligent self-control. In this article, the functionality of the intelligent control technologies will be explained, and how they are being applied to the consumer products developed in Samsung Electronics Co.

This study examined the confronting problems in home economics and its historical and philosophical causing background, and suggested the future direction for home economics and home economics education. This study, hoped to help home economics overcoming its chaotic situation, and to establish academic characteristics through a philosophical consistency: 1. What are the significant problems which home economics has confronted, and the consequences of those problems\ulcorner 2. What are the fundamental caues of the problem\ulcorner 3.What should be the nature of home econimics to be able to overcome the confronting problems and what can be proposed for the future of home economic\ulcorner Each research question was addressed by analyzing Journal articles, theses, philosophical studies in the field. The results were as follows; 1. such problems as the ambiguity in research focus and the nature of academic charateristcs, and the limitation of research method have resulted fragmentation and specialization in the field, and the lack of philosophical research. Also they led home and family. Moreover each problem brought chaos into curriculum of home economics and that of home economics deucation. 2. The philosophical causing backgrounds of present problems are western ideas such as pragmatism, positivism, Social Darwnism and Korean ideas such as Confucian tradition, Practical Science movement in the 19th century, and modernization and industrialization from the middle of 20th century. Along with influencing historical situation these backgrounds have distorted home economics to be technical science oriented. 3. To solve these problems academic characteristics of home economics must be reestablished as practical science and as profession. This study proposed following for the future of home economics and home economics education: (1) For the future of home economics, first, it needs to recover the unity as one academic field with its focus on family by overcoming fragmentation and specialization trend in the field. Secondly, philosophical and historical studies must be carried o for the unity of all specialized field in home economics. Thirdly, home economics must try to reestablish and reflect in pratice its acadimic characteristics as practical science and as profession. (2) For home economic eduation, first, it should not be the instrument for idelogies of powerful social systems. And teacher education for home economics teachers must inclued principles of home economics and philosophy and history of home economics enabling teachers to achieve purposes of home economics. Secondly, its curriculum contents should be composed of practical ones beyond technical ones.

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of marital violence and marital unstability. A total of 192 marital couples in Pusan completed a structure questionnaire. The major finding were as follows : 1. Husbands and wives reciprocally inflicted psychological aggression and physical violence. 2. Violent couples who were high level of marital unstability had worse family system function than violent couples who were low level of marital unstability. Violent husbands who were high level of marital unstability were disengaged and chaos family system. 3. Husbands inflicted violence toward their wives when husbands had the contempt of communication style, and their family function were disengaged level. Wives inflicted violence toward their husbands when wives had the contempt of communication style. Couples who had high level of marital unstability were more likely to violent and were disengaged level on Circumplex Model.

본 연구에서는 가정외보호 퇴소 청소년이 원가족과 어떠한 관계를 경험하는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가정외보호 퇴소 청소년 6명을 대상으로 면접을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 현상학적 방법을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 본 연구에서 4개의 범주와 12개의 하위범주가 도출되었는데, 4개의 범주는 '혼돈 속의 헤어짐', '다시 만났지만 거리가 생김', '완전히 끝나버린 관계', '새로 만드는 가족의 경계'로 구분되었다. 첫째, 빈곤이나 이혼 등의 문제로 부모와 분리된 연구참여자 3명은 부모와 다시 재회를 하였고, 퇴소 이후에도 관계를 지속하는 것으로 나타났다. 이들은 자립하는데 있어서 부모로부터 다양한 형태의 지원을 받고 있으며, 이러한 지원을 통해 안정적으로 자립을 해가고 있었다. 둘째, 심각한 아동학대, 부모의 죽음으로 부모와 분리된 경우는 부모와의 관계가 단절된 것으로 나타났다. 이들은 원가정이 아닌 새로운 대안관계를 통해 자립해 가고는 있지만 다소 불안정한 전이를 경험하였다. 본 연구에서 연구참여자의 원가족 관계 경험을 한마디로 요약하면 "애증의 외줄타기"로 정의할 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 가정외보호 퇴소 청소년의 원가족 관계를 돕기 위한 아동복지 실천적 및 정책적 함의를 제언하였다.

MFN provisions in investment agreements have been a tool for equitable treatment between foreign investors with different nationalities. This non discriminatory principle has been pursued by the host states for further investment promotion. However, it may be abused to bring the situation of so called "ISDS forum shopping" which might harm the stability and predictability of investment agreements by unexpectedly extending the scope of obligations. While some investment arbitral tribunals have interpreted the scope of MFN provision very broadly to allow the ISDS forum shopping, both procedural and substantive provisions have been invoked. To prevent any chaos of unclear boundary of MFN provision, some explicit MFN restrictions which would limit the scope of MFN provision are needed. Indeed, some investment agreements have included these MFN restrictions. Specifically, MFN restrictions deal with both procedural or substantive provisions to prevent ISDS forum shopping. According to the lessons from the recent examples of MFN restrictions, there must be a careful consideration on the benefits and costs of having a certain type of MFN restriction as the parties can be the host state and the home state of their investors at the same time.

본 연구는 영문판 전자지도 서비스를 위한 지명 영문표기의 세부기준과 원칙을 제시하는데 연구목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 국내에서 지명의 영문표기를 위해 활용하고 있는 지침과 국외 전자지도서비스에서의 한국지명의 영문표기 현황을 살펴보았다. 현황조사 결과 국내 외에서 지명의 영문표기방식이 통일되어 있지 않아 혼란을 야기함을 알 수 있었다. 이렇게 혼용되고 있는 지명의 영문표기 방식 중에서 외국인이 이해하기 쉽고 선호하는 표기방식을 파악하기 위하여 외국인을 대상으로 지명의 영문표기방식의 선호도를 조사하였다. 조사결과 외국인은 로마자만 표기하는 것보다는 로마자와 의미역을 병기하는 것을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 선호도 조사 결과를 반영하여 본 연구에서는 우리나라 지명을 자연지명, 인공지명, 행정지명으로 구분하여 각 지명별로 영문표기의 기준과 원칙을 제시하였다.
