A study on Secure Communication in Hyper-Chaos with SC-CNN using Embedding Method

  • In this paper, we introduce a hyper-chaos secure communication method using hyper-chaos circuit onsist of State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network SC-CNN). We make a hyper-chaos circuit using SC-CNN with the n-double scroll or Chua's oscillator. A hyper-chaos circuit is created by applying identical n-double scroll or non-identical n-double scroll and Chua's oscillator with weak coupled method to each cell. Hyper-chaos ynchronization was achieved using GS (Generalized Synchronization) method between the transmitter and receiver about each state variable in the SC-CNN. In order to secure communication, we have synthesizing the desired information with a hyper-chaos circuit by adding the information signal to the hyper-chaos signal using the SC-CNN in the transmitter. And then, transmitting the synthesized signal to the ideal channel, we confirm secure communication by separating the information signal and the hyper-chaos signal in the receiver.

  • 보안성을 향상시킬 수 있는 시스템인 카오스 통신 시스템은 신호의 비예측성, 비주기성, 광대역성, 구현의 용이성 등의 특징을 가지며, 초기조건에 굉장히 민감한 특징을 가진다. 이런 특징들로 인해서 카오스 통신 시스템의 보안성은 디지털 통신 시스템보다 우수하다. COOK 변조 방식은 비동기식 수신기를 사용하면서도 다른 카오스 변조 방식보다 BER 성능이 우수하게 평가된다. 하지만 COOK 변조 신호는 정보 비트의 예측이 쉽기 때문에 보안성과 신호의 안전성 측면에서는 다른 카오스 변조 방식보다 나쁘게 평가된다. 따라서 본 논문에서, 우리는 COOK 변조 방식의 보안성과 신호의 안전성을 향상시키기 위해 스크램블링 기법을 응용하여 새로운 스크램블링 COOK 변조 방식을 제안한다. 기존 COOK 변조 방식은 데이터가 1인 경우에만 카오스 신호를 발생시키기 때문에 데이터 예측이 가능하지만, 스크램블링 COOK 변조 방식은 발생된 카오스 신호가 0일 수도 있으며 1일 수도 있기 때문에 예측이 불가능하다. 따라서 스크램블링 COOK 변조 방식은 기존 COOK 변조 방식보다 전송 신호의 보안성과 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we introduce a hyper-chaos secure communication method using Hyper-chaos consist of State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network (SC-CNN). A hyper-chaos circuit is created by applying identical n-double scroll with weak coupled method to each cell. Hyper-chaos synchronization was achieved using embedding synchronization between the transmitter and receiver about in SC CNN. And then, we accomplish secure communication by synthesizing the desired information with a hyper-chaos circuit by embedding the information signal to the only one state variable instead of all state variables in the driven-synchronization method. After transmitting the synthesized signal to the identical channel, we confirm secure communication by separating the information signal and the hyper-chaos signal in the receiver.

  • In this paper, we formed a transmitter and receiver by using two identical Chua's circuits and then formed wireless transmission line from the channel which was between those two circuits. We proposed a secure communication method in which the desired information signal was synthesized with the chaos signal created in a Chua's circuit and sent to the transmitter through channel. Then the signal was demodulated receiver of Chua's circuit. The method we used to accomplish the sun communication was synthesizing the desired information with the chaos circuit by parallel connection in a wireless transmission line. After transmitting the synthesized signal to the wireless transmission line, we confirmed the actuality of the secure communication by separating the information signal and the chaos signal in the receiver. In order to confirm the security, we compared the wiretapped signal and the recovery signal under the assumption that the wiretapping had taken place. In order to separate the two signals, we transformed the information signal to a current source in the transmitter and detected the current in the receiver.

The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor. and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chua's circuits are proposed and a equivalent wire secure communications are investigated. A secure communication method in which the desired information signal is synthesized with the chaos signal created by the Chua's circuit is proposed and information signal is demodulated also using the Chua's circuit. The proposed method is synthesizing the desired information with the chaos circuit by adding the information signal to the chaos signal in the wire transmission system.

  • In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chua's circuits are proposed and a wire secure communications are investigated. A secure communication method in which the desired information signal is synthesized with the chaos signal created by the Chua's circuit is proposed and information signal is demodulated also using the Chua's circuit. The proposed method is synthesizing the desired information with the chaos circuit by adding the information signal to the chaos signal in the wire transmission system. After transmitting the synthesized signal through the wire transmission system, it is confirmed the feasibility of the secure communication from result of demodulated signals and recovered wire tapped signals.

카오스 기저 디지털통신시스템에서의 신호발생과 검출방식 (Signal Generation and Detection Schemes of Chaos based Digital Communication Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 통상적인 카오스 부호계열 그리고 한 카오스 부호계열의 FFT의 실수와 허수부로부터 발생되는 새로운 카오스 부호계열의 발생 알고리즘과 발생된 부호계열의 명료도를 측정할 수 있는 시간-주파수 함수 특성을 검토하였다. 그리고 서로 다른 카오스 부호계열을 이용한 시스템과 동일한 카오스 부호계열의 FFT를 이용하는 두 종류의 카오스 기저 QCSK 디지털 통신시스템을 AWGN과 페이딩 통신 채널에서 분석하였다. 분석결과 이러한 카오스 부호계열은 델타함수와 같은 자기상관함수와 영과 같은 상호상관함수 특성을 가지며 카오스 기저 대역확산통신시스템에 적합함을 보였다. Monte-Carlo 시뮬레이션을 이용한 두 카오스 기저 QCSK 시스템의 성능평가결과 부호계열의 FFT를 이용한 시스템이 서로 다른 카오스 부호계열을 이용한 시스템에 비하여 성능이 개선됨을 보였다.
