This paper deals with the development and application of control algorithms for series elastic relief robots for rescue operations in harsh environment like disasters or battlefield. The joint controller applied in this paper has a cascade structure combining inner loop for torque control and outer loop for position control. The torque loop contains feedforward and feedback controller and disturbance observer for independent, decentralized joint control. The effect of the elastic component and motor dynamics are treated as the nonlinear disturbance and compensated with the disturbance observer of torque controller. For the collision detection, Band Designed Disturbance Observer is configured to recognize/respond to external disturbance robustly in the continuously changing environment. The controller is applied to a 7-dof series elastic manipulator to evaluate the torque tracking and collision detection/response performance.

Recently the structure of disease is changing its form into chronic disease. Taking into consideration this, the health care system doesn't cope with this tendency. With the health care system for acute disease, it is difficult to decrease medical care cost. At this point, Health education like primary health care can reduce risk factors and possibilities of occurrence of disease. This can cut off the medical insurance finance further more cuts off the rates of insurance cost. This is why health education is the principle part of medical insurance service. Though the law shows health education must be executed in the field of Medical insurance, still it is not enough. In order to carry out health education in the medical insurance organization, the efforts we should make are as follows: 1. Recognize the importance of health education. 2. Set the clear goals in health education. 3. Organize health education system. 4. Train health workers. 5. Systematize health education service. 6. Reform the medical insurance system. 7. Evaluate the effect of health education and practice the model.

The purpose of this study is to develop a practical image inspection system that could recognize it correctly, endowing flexibility to the productive field, although the same object for work will be changed in the size and rotated. In this experiment, it selected a fighter, rotating the direction from $30^{\circ}$ to $45^{\circ}$ simultaneously while changing the size from 1/4 to 1/16, as an object inspection without using another hardware for exclusive image processing. The invariant moments, Hu has suggested, was used as feature vector moment descriptor. As a result of the experiment, the image inspection system developed from this research was operated in real-time regardless of the chance of size and rotation for the object inspection, and it maintained the correspondent rates steadily above from 94% to 96%. Accordingly, it is considered as the flexibility can be considerably endowed to the factory automation when the image inspection system developed from this research is applied to the productive field.

The ability to customize garments for fit in the apparel industry is directly tied to the availability of comprehensive and accurate sets of anthropometrical data for each consumer. The data for apparel sizing systems is available from three major standard/ research organizations: ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), ISO (International Standard Organization), and NCHS (National Center for Health Statistics). However, these standards ignore various head shapes and are outdated for the development future head products. This creates a data gap an ever changing multi-cultural society such as the United Sates. Although major government and industry safety organizations recognize the importance of safety for head products, few studies were found to support their reasoning. The purpose of this study is to provide accurate head dimension data for developing safety head products by analyzing various head shapes in the United Sates which includes various ethnic backgrounds. This study was carried out on 105 males in the United States. Factor analysis, cluster analysis, Moreover, Duncan analysis were all used for analyzing various head shapes.

This paper presents a real-time algorithm for an infrared seeker to find the real target automatically against various background noises without changing the reticle configuration. The modeling technique of infrared sources and analysis results of the various source types based on the FFT algorithm are included. Futhermore, a neural network is used to recognize the source type using the results of FFT analysis. The evaluation of target recognition for cases which can happen in real situation is also treated.

In this thesis, we perform the experiment of speaker recognition by identifying vowels in the pronounciation of each speaker. In detail, we extract the vowels from the pronounciation of each speaker first. From it, we check the frequency energgy of 29 channels. After changing these into fuzzy values, we employ the fuzzy inference to recognize the speaker by text-dependent and text-independent methods. For this experiment, an algorithm of extracting vowels is developed, and newly introduced parameter is the frequency energy of the 29 channels computed from the extracted vowels. It shows the features of each speakers better than existing parameters. The advanced point of this paramter is to use the reference pattern only without the help of any codebook. As a rewult, test-dependent method showed about 95.5% rate of recognition, and text-independent method showed about 94.2% rate of recognition.

This study examined the relationships between father and son through son's developmental stages focusing on the father-son communication. The researcher conducted the survey among 600 male students including the 5th grade elementary students, the 2nd grade middle school students and the 2nd grade high school students residing new areas of town Pusan. The results of this study are as follows. It showed that there are some differences in function and content of father-son communication. Also it develomental stages was revealed that there is the quality differences in father-son communication through son's develomental stages. Elementary students was higher levels of father-son communication quality than those of middle and high schools. In conclusion, the results of this study showed that the relationship between father and son is changing through son's developmental stages. If father can recognize the characteristics of the developmental stages of their son's, they would be more effectively cope their sons' development demand.

This study focuses on Korean independent documentary Unnie dealing with prostitution in Korean society. Not only does it discuss profuse discourse about Unnie such as politics of the film, Korean independent documentary as a tool of struggle, an organized narrative for anti-prostitution and social power of the film but also it deals with prostitution matters related with the film such as prostitute rights, anti-prostitution and pro-prostitution. And it diagnoses possibilities of modifying audiences' recognition and participatory spectatorship with Unnie, conducting a survey of 202 undergraduates.

The purpose of this study is to develop and test the effectiveness of a financial education program that make the elderly recognize financial problems and find available strategy to improve their financial situation. Based on the literature review and economic structure of the elderly, a financial education program was developed with three parts: 'My elderly lift'; 'Doubling my income'; and 'Safe investment strategy.' 42 elderly people in Senior academy participate in three-session program and 39 people completed pre and post-test and satisfaction survey. In order to examine the effectiveness of the program paired t-test was used. According to evaluation results, the program was found to have a positive effect on enhancing knowledge in elderly lift and financial management, but not on changing attitude. Most of participants show high level of satisfaction with the program.
