Ensuring the security of medical records is becoming an increasingly important problem as modern technology is integrated into existing medical services. As a consequence of the adoption of EMR(Electronic Medical Records) in the health care sector, it is becoming more and more common for a health professional to edit and view a patient's record. In order to protect the patient's privacy, a secure authentication model to access the electronic medical records system must be used. A traditional identity based digital certificate for the authenticity of EMR has private key management and key escrow of a user's private key. In order to protect the EMR, The traditional authentication system is based on the digital certificate. The identity based digital certificate has many disadvantages, for example, the private key can be forgotten or stolen, and can be easily escrow of the private key. Nowadays, authentication model using fingerprint recognition technology for EMR has become more prevalent because of the advantages over digital certificate -based authentication model. Because identity-based fingerprint recognition can eliminate disadvantages of identity-based digital certificate, the proposed authentication model provide high security for access control in EMR.

The purpose of this study is to analyze cognition of applicants about the national sports coaching certificate examination. In order to collect data an online survey was conducted against those who attended the practical and oral examination for the sports coaching certificate. SPSS Version 18.0 was used to analyze frequency of the collected 2,895 samples, the factors of measuring methods in the study, difference of applicants' cognition on the certificate system, and difference of applicants' cognition on the practical and oral examination. Results from this study indicates that the applicants' cognition on the sports coaching certificate system differs according to ages, educational levels, and sports related majors at college, and that the applicants' cognition on the practical and oral examination for the sports coaching certificate is also different according to gender, age, educational level, and sports related majors at college. This study suggests development directions for the future sports coaching system by comprehending of the study results.

This study promotes the understanding of landscape technicians by, assessing the professional qualification system that aligns with the needs of the 21st-century environment, distinct from the industrialization era, It, provides basic theoretical insights into the multi-dimensional connections between the motivation for a certificate and the career decision-making self-efficacy of individuals with a demand for the certificate in the structural aspect. The collected data underwent a comprehensive analysis involving frequency assessments, confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability tests, and correlation analyses. The study found differences according to particpants' diverse sociodemographic characteristics including gender, place of residence, educational background, and occupation. The motivation for obtaining a certificate had significant positive effects on their career-decision-making self-efficacy, within the context of structural relations. The study findings on the relations between motivation for obtaining a certificate and career decision-making self-efficacy demonstrate that the direction and intensity of efforts to obtain a certificate can increase the career decision-making self-efficacy of people hoping to become landscape technicians.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The recent coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has brought to light issues regarding personal and environmental cleanliness. Individuals may have concerns about cleanliness at food service establishments when they consume food prepared at a restaurant. In Korea, a new restaurant hygienic certificate system was implemented in 2017. The effect of this new system has not been evaluated. SUBJECTS/METHODS: This study investigated consumers' perceptions of these new certificates using the protection motivation theory (PMT). An online survey was conducted to collect data and then exploratory factor analysis, analysis of variance, and multiple regression tests were run. RESULTS: The results of this study indicate that 3 different certificates had significant differences in threat (P < 0.001) and benefit (P < 0.001) perception. However, experience with a foodborne illness from a restaurant did not effect on the PMT variables. In addition, the 3-tier certificate did not motivate consumers to protect themselves against foodborne illnesses, while previous experiences of foodborne illness (P < 0.05), coping (P < 0.001), and benefits (P < 0.01) affected this protection motivation. CONCLUSIONS: This study suggests that consumers were not influenced by different certificate levels regarding their motivation to protect themselves from foodborne illnesses. Therefore, an improved plan should be initiated to clarify the meaning of these certificates. The results of this study can help the application and development of a new system for future adaptations.

This paper studied two factors for the manufacturing companies whose number of employee are under three hundred. One is the effect of the observation of quality system under the CEO's interest degree of quality management. First, most of company answered acquiring certificate ISO 9000 is very helpful for the company management .therefore the company have competence for the change of economic environment of domestic and international economy. Second, after acquiring the certificate ISO 9000, there were many improvements in company culture, quality control and business process productivity. As a result, acquisition of certificate of ISO 9000 system makes the company culture preparing the future to become a world first class company.

We suggest resource authorization system based on RBAC admitting someone to access resources. In existing grid environment, The authorization mechanism on user's resource is to give users an authority on the basis of DN(Distinguished Name) of proxy certificate and map file mapped in local system ID by one-to-one. In this case, it is difficulty in resource management such as each accounting management, memory resource, and disk resource, if the number of users, who want to use them is increased. To solve this problem, we specify the role of user's task in extension fields of his proxy certificate instead of the authorization mechanism of user's ID and propose resource authorization system being able to access his resource.

The most fundamental reason why FTA Agreement must be concluded is based on the preferential tariff treatment among country parties. In order to get applied by the preferential tariff treatment under an FTA, the parties need to meet the rules of origin and the criteria stipulated under the FTA simultaneously. In addition, Certificate of Origin(C/O) document is required to claim for the preferential treatment under the FTA Agreement. In South Korea, the electronic Certificate of Origin can be issued by the UNI-PASS and FTA-PASS of the Korea Customs Service. The Web Certification System of the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry also is established. But the majority cases of requesting the preferential Certificate of Origin are generally performed by the business partners. The settlement and activation of electronic Certificate of Origin are urgently needed to maximize the effects of FTA, First, this paper examines the application situation of electronic Certificate of Origin throughly. Second, the current circumstances related to electronic Certificate Origin are analyzed in the practical and systematic perspectives. Finally, the improvements for activating electronic Certificate of Origin is suggested.

The Certificate Revocation List(CRL) or the Online Certificate Status Protocol(OCSP)has been used to validate certificates. However, the CRL cannot validate certificates in realtime because of the Time-Gap problem and the OCSP server overloads in a large scale secure system. In addition, the client cannot access a wired LAN until the client has been authenticated by the authentication server on the IEEE 802. 1x framework. Therefore, the client cannot validate the authentication server's certificate using a certificate validation server. Thus, the client cannot authenticate the authentication server in realtime. To solve these problems this paper designed a secure system that can protect the content of communications and authenticate users in realtime on a wireless LAN The designed certificate validation protocol was proved that the stability and efficiency of the system was very high, the result of the validation had the presence, the speed of the validation was not affected by the system scale, the number of authorities user must trust was reduced to one, and the overload of the validation server was Protected. And the designed user authentication and key exchange protocols were Proved that the mutual authentication was possible in realtime and the fact of the authentication could be authorized by the CA because of using the authorized certificates.

With the rapid progress of research to offer a convenience of mobile communication, the mobile users can use not only the services of voice call but also the variety services of data communication using Internet. These include Internet Searching, Internet Shopping and Internet banking and Internet stock exchange and electronic payment and so on, based on PKI. Also, the need of data communication between the mobile users has been increased. As it is possible for mobile users to do user authentication, key distribution, encryption, decryption and so on, it is needed the certificate status validation between the mobile users. However due to the PCS(Personal Communication System) had been only designed and implemented for voice call between the mobile users, it is not easy to apply data communication between the mobile users on PKI. Therefore the study of for the data communication between the mobile users in PCS is a few. It is for the data transfer between the mobile users to communicate using call processing of PCS. So, we propose how to process the certificate status validation during call processing for data communication between the mobile users in the PCS.
