The place where models of Indonesian templed and sculpture remain in best condition is in central Java. Central Java was a center of culture from the 8th century to the 9th century. After the mid-10th century, a dynasty moved from central Java to eastern Java, because of frequent volcanic explosions and illness. Eastern Java became the center of politics and culture until the 16th century, when Islamic culture gained superiority. The classical temples of Indonesia before the rise of Islam are called 'Candi', which we can divide into the western Java period (?~8th century), the central Java period (8th~10th century), the eastern Java period (10th~16th century).

Although some indicators for evaluating rural settlement conditions have been offered, these indicators could not reflect unique characteristics that rural has its own peculiarities. The rural area is identified with central districts functioned as service provision and hinterlands used its service. The aim of this study is to find a central district of rural villages and define range of its hinterlands using various physical characteristics of rural areas. Targeting areas are Yongsan and Hwanggan in Yeongdong-gun. The physical characteristics are represented by building density, number of shops among secondary and tertiary industries, official land price, and density of bus line. The rural central district is estimated by linear programming using defined the physical characteristics. Also its hinterlands used Huff model and social accessibility. The results of this study are as follows; (1) The physical characteristics in Hwanggan myeon is higher than Yongsan myeon because Hwanggan area has a large floating population for using Hwanggan station and ticket office; (2) The central district in Hwanggan has wider regional range than Yongsan. When central district estimate in rural areas, we suggest a grid diameter of Hexagon for controlling errors; (3) Considering accessibility, the life zone of 4 districts defined legally in Hwanggan use Yongsan and 2 legal districts in Hwanggan are possible to take advantage of Yongsan's life zone; (4) The results of survey targeting boundary villages between Yongsan and Hwanggan, individual drivers use central districts both Yongsan and Hwanggan, however users by public transportation (especially bus) go more to Hwanggan because bus lines to Hwanggan have many routes than to Yongsan. Evaluating the rural settlement conditions by national unit through grasping central districts and its hinterlands, these results can use as base line data and the evidence for regional development projects.

There is a well-known simple, stable standard merge algorithm, which uses only linear time but for the price of double space. This extra space consumption has been often remarked as lack of the standard merge sort algorithm that covers a merge process as central operation. In-place merging is a way to overcome this lack and so is a topic with a long tradition of inspection in the area of theoretical computer science. We present an in-place merging algorithm that rear-ranges the elements to be merged by rotation, a special form of block interchanging. Our algorithm is novel, due to its technique of determination of the rotation-areas. Further it has a short and transparent definition. We will give a presentation of our algorithm and prove that it needs in the worst case not more than twice as much comparisons as the standard merge algorithm. Experimental work has shown that our algorithm is efficient and so might be of high practical interest.

The purpose of this study is to make an in-between space considered as an abandoned thing to the central place of commercial area by utilizing it to form the each places' identities. The methodology of the design is not about one complete form but about a continuous process by negotiation. This process is proceeded by holding council between public institution and private owners of the buildings and applied the rules to various cases in similar places in the commercial area. This project has been developed in order to construct a healthy network to connect buildings nearby and programs in a block. This place could provide the ground for public communication between any group to visit this place and make the spatial milieu of the city.

The origin of the Tsushima Current water was investigated with a discussion on the western North Pacific Central Water. The Tsushima Current water is formed by the mixing of the Kuroshio surface water and the East China Sea water. The area where the mixing takes place remarkably is found to be the marginal region of the continental shelf of the East China Sea at the depth from 100 to 200 meters.

A 77-year-old male patient was admitted to the hospital with acute appendicitis and underwent emergency appendectomy under inhalation anesthesia without any complications. After the operation, the patient was placed on epidural analgesia with the mixture of fentanyl-bupivacaine and scopolamine patch for nausea and vomiting. The patient experienced central anticholinergic syndrome (CAS) with hallucination, confusion, somnolence, dysarthria and delirium at 20 hours after patch placement and recovered from all symptoms of CAS in 24 hours after the removal of the patch. The CAS occurs when central cholinergic sites are occupied by specific drugs and also as a result of an insufficient release of acetylcholine. The diagnosis of CAS is often determined by a process of exclusion and not actually made until a positive therapeutic response to physostigmine, a centrally active anticholiesterase agent, has taken place. Treatment of CAS includes prompt removal of the patch, cleansing of the area, and physostigmine administration. The scopolamine patch should be used with extreme caution in elderly patient.

We report an interesting case in which overt aortic dissection mimicked two episodes of aortic intramural hematoma (IMH) (Stanford A, DeBakey I). This took place over the course of four days and had a major influence on the surgical treatment strategy. The first episode of IMH regressed completely within 15 hours after it was clinically diagnosed and verified using imaging techniques. The recurrence of IMH was detected three days thereafter, resulting in an urgent surgical intervention. Overt aortic dissection with evidence of an intimal tear was diagnosed intraoperatively.

With the advent of high-resolution high-sensitivity observations, spiral patterns have been revealed around several asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars. Such patterns can provide possible evidence for the existence of central binary stars embedded in outflowing circumstellar envelopes. It is, however, not generally recognized that the binary induced pattern, vertically extended from the orbital plane, exhibits a ring-like pattern with an inclined viewing angle. I will first review the binary-induced spiral-shell patterns on the AGB circumstellar envelopes with the effect of inclination angle with respect to the orbital plane, of which large inclination cases reveal incomplete ring-like patterns. I will describe a method of extracting such spiral-shell from the gas kinematics of an incomplete ring-like pattern to place constraints on the characteristics of the (unknown) central binary stars. This first success may open the possibility of connecting the ring-like patterns commonly found in the AGB circumstellar envelopes and in the outer parts of (pre-)planetary nebulae and pointing to the conceivable presence of central binary systems, which may give a clue for the onset of asymmetrical planetary nebulae.

This paper describes the SEAS which is a 2-dimensional graphic editor for schematic circuit and IC mask layout. This system runs on general purpose computer and Tektronix 4110 series graphic terminal. With this system, user can edit schematic circuits and/or IC mask layout with 2 level hierarchy. This system supports more than 20 kinds of built-in symbol, user definable internal symbols, 60 macros, 16 function keys, 4 level on-screen menu operation and edit-in-place of cell in main drawing. And it provides editing functions such as reflection, rotation, move and copy of one or a group of elements, and modification of polygona geometry etc. To improve the excution speed, we used local memory of graphic terminal. For the portability of the program, the system is written in FORTRAN 77 programming language.

In order to foster the minor enterprises effectively we will have to take a proper step to control and adjust the excessive competitions of large-enterprises and minor as well as among minor enterprises, We should promote the relationship serialized between minor - and large - enterprises and establish mediation and control organizations and governmental policies to create re-subcontract among small and medium enterprises. To help the development of medium md small enterprises in Jeon-Buk area, therefore, Kunsan city should be designated as a Growth Position City. The reason is as follows. 1) Because Kunsan is located in Middle Western Seaside geographycally, and in the central place of our country as a key point of sea-transportation, we can cultivate the national land widely. 2) As an ocean gateway city of Kum River basin, Kunsan is a good place that can reform Hoh-nam inland of Kwang-iu, Jeon-ju, I-ri, and like places as well as central inland area of Dae-jeon, Chong-ju, etc.. 3) Kunsan is an advanced-base for constituting an industrial region of Weatern roast that has a spacious coastral industrial region and is connected with inland industrial park of Jeon-ju and I-ri and Jang-hang, Bi-in, etc.. From the above reason. Kunsan should be designated as a growth position city that can induce and promote the development of center of Western coast.
