광계측기를 이용한 전차선-팬터그래프 재질별 이선아크 스펙트럼 분석 (Analysis of Contact Loss Arc Spectrum between Contact Wire and Pantograph Material using a Spectrometer)

  • To maintain contact between catenary and pantograph copper is important in order to transmit power smoothly on Current collection system. But, Arc discharge with strong light is generated because of contact loss. Therefore, Arc discharge detection is important measurement factor judging performance of current collection system. In this paper, It is described to results of arc discharge applying UV detection technology using arc generator. And Arc discharge was detected using the most commonly used processing catenary and rigid catenary and pantograph copper of electric rolling stock for securing arc detection instrument reliability. Results of contact loss detection instrument in this paper will be used for maintenance of current collection quality and system.

  • This paper presents a suggestion for improvement of tension balancer in trolly wire system. In the overhead trolly wire systems, one of the most things is tension balancer. Because it can be automatically adjusted tension for expansion and contraction of overhead catenary system. In this paper, we introduce and suggest spring tension balancer(STB).

  • This paper presents the results of materials and mechanical analyses and performance improvement of pull-off fitting used for catenary. The pull-off fitting is supporting the trolley wire which supplies the electricity. However, the pull-off fitting is repeatedly suffered by the mechanical stresses which produce cracks in the swivel clip, resulting in interruption of an electric car. The characteristic analyses of the swivel clip were performed and the improved swivel clip was suggested.

  • In recent society, the electricity is so essential for the human lives. Lots of modern people take many cultural benefits owing to the development of the power systems, the cell phone, the electrical appliances, and etc. However, the problems related to the electromagnetic field generate as the side effects. Examples are the fault in the electric machinery due to the electromagnetic coupling, the fault in the communication devices due to the electromagnetic field around the power line equipments, and the effect upon the human beings due to the electromagnetic field, and etc. In this paper, we induce the vector equation about the magnetic field based on Biot-Savart law. We calculate the magnetic field at the surface of the high speed train with this induced equation and the current in the high speed railroad catenary wire. Finally, we calculate the magnetic field in the high speed train considering the material property like the permeability, the conductivity, and so on.

  • Suspension insulator in Catenary Trolley Wire Systems must have two characteristics, electric insulation and mechanical endurance. Because suspension insulator is used in supporting and insulating position between power supply parts and earth conducted supporting parts. The insulator's electric characteristics can be influenced by surface pollution and damage from the environment such as humidity, dust, smoke, salt. etc. And, the insulating parts can be electrically short. These electrically damaged insulator can cause serious accidents that have far-reaching effect. So appropriate management basis of suspension insulator is needed. And we present appropriate cleaning and the changing period of suspension insulator on the basis of actual data.

  • Uplift of contact wire and dynamic characteristics between pantograph and contact wire are key interaction performance of OCS (Overhead Catenary System). These two evaluation items are the approval criteria for the performance between OCS and pantograph. A telemetry system or DAQ (Data Acquisition) System based on wireless communication make it monitor a dynamic behavior which is measured directly in a 25 kv like parts. While permissible working time is too short time to install is too long. In this paper, it is described that optimization the telemetry measurement system for OCS and increasing accuracy, easy adaptation, and faster handling can be also achieved through the study.

  • Overhead contact systems (OCS) consist of contact and messenger wires, in which the contact wire supplies electric energy to the railway vehicle by contacting a pantograph. However, this mechanical contact is interrupted during frosts or temperatures below $0^{\circ}C$ in the winter. In these conditions, railway vehicle accidents can occur during operation because of the low energy efficiency that results from the increase in the arcing between the contact wire and pantograph. Therefore, the detection of frost or freezing temperatures is necessary to maintain the stable operation of these trains. In this study, we proposed the development of a frost or freezing condition monitoring system on the OCSs that utilizes wireless communication.

  • 지금까지의 전차선 검측 시스템은 검측차량을 이용하여 검사구간을 주행 한 후 결과를 산출하였다. 이것은 아열대기후로의 변화에 인한 자연 환경의 급변과 450Km/h급 고속철도 차량의 등장으로 변화가 요구된다. 이에 고속 주행환경과 노반정보를 반영하는 융합 가변형 전차선 검측시스템의 구조를 연구하였다. 기존의 시스템은 전차선에 한정하여 마모의 정도를 판단하였다. 이에 비해 본 논문에서는 검지를 위하여 참조하는 정보를 검측대상의 영상정보에 추가하여 음향정보를 융합하였고, 지형정보에 따라 검지빈도와 정밀도를 가변적으로 적용함으로써 시설물 검측에 대한 기본적인 모델을 제안하였다.

  • In this study, the dynamic characteristic of a contact wire and pantograph suppling electrical power to electrical railway vehicle is investigated from an electrical response point of view. To analysis voltage and current waveforms by induced contact loss phenomenon on driving electrical railway vehicle, a hardware Simulator which considered contact loss between contact wire and the pantograph as well as contact wire deviation is developed. It is confirmed that a contact wire and pantograph model are necessary for studying the dynamic behavior of the pantograph system. Throughout prototype simulator and contact wire and catenary wire experiments, it is confirmed that current waveforms is distorted by contact loss phenomenon and in case of driving electrical railway vehicle.
