Holmberg의 은하 직정과 SUGC에 있는 de Vaucouleurs face-on 은하 직경과의 차이는 BGC와 Holmberg 목록으로 Heidmann 등이 구한 차이보다 더 적게 나타났는데, 이는 펑균표면광도 $\mu_B$ = 24.5 등급에서 구한 face-on 은하 직경을 수록한 BGC 자료들을 H eidmann 등이 사용했기 때문이다. 또, 본 논문에서 구한 Holmberg 은하 직경과 de Vaucouleurs은하 직경과의 상관관계식에서 $D_h>D_v$로 나타났으므로 Holmberg 은하 반청 $b=\frac{1}{2}D_v$로 사용하는것이 옳지 않다고 본다.

Spatial information has recently been recognized as one of the major subjects of interest in information technology. With increasing variety and quantity of spatial data on the web, searching and maintaining these data are becoming a much focussed area of research. Interoperability is the key technology in solving the complexities of spatial data in web services. The problem of maintenance and searching of spatial data in an interoperable web service environment can be solved by establishing standardized metadata of spatial information. Then using the standardized metadata, catalog web services can be deployed for autonomous searching and binding of spatial data. This study investigates the international standard for spatial data metadata(ISO/TC211 19115) and deployed catalog web service based on this metadata. Various heterogeneous spatial data of Seoul Metropolitan region were then used for experimental implementation of catalog web service.

The aim of this study is to create a catalogue of amnesia synonyms in Traditional Korean Medicine for database utilization. A two-staged literature search was carried out. First, two databases(China National Knowledge Infrastructure:CNKI, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System:OASIS) were searched for eligible articles, and a set of candidate words was identified from the articles. Second, the candidate words were searched in 30 medical classics to check the frequency of use. As a result, 9 candidate words including 喜忘(huimang), 善忘(seonmang), 多忘(damang), 好忘(homang), 健忘(geonmang), 遂忘(sumang), 遺忘(yumang), 忘事(mangsa), and 易忘(imang) were identified from the 10 eligible articles. Among the 9 candidate words, 健忘(geonmang) was a descriptor and 7 other words including 喜忘(huimang), 善忘(seonmang), 多忘(damang), 好忘(homang), 遂忘(sumang), 遺忘(yumang), 忘事(mangsa) were non-descriptors. 易忘(imang) was not an adequate synonym for amnesia.

본 연구의 목적은 멀티미디어 데이터베이스의 개발 현황을 조사하고 멀티미디어 서비스 시장의 발전 경향을 조사함으로써 전문정보의 멀티미디어 데이터베이스 수요를 분석하는 것이다. 멀티미디어 데이터베이스의 개발현황을 파악하기 위하여 국내의 상용 멀티미디어 데이터베이스와 비상용 멀티미디어 데이터베이스의 분야별 재현형태별 분석을 하였다. 멀티미디어 서비스의 전망에 대한 분석을 위하여는 국내의 멀티미디어 전문가를 대상으로 멀티미디어 서비스의 환경, 시장, 이용자와 관련된 사항의 설문조사를 실시하였다.

The advent of robust, reliable and accurate higher order Godunov schemes for many of the systems of equations of interest in computational astrophysics has made it important to understand how to solve them in multi-scale fashion. This is so because the physics associated with astrophysical phenomena evolves in multi-scale fashion and we wish to arrive at a multi-scale simulational capability to represent the physics. Because astrophysical systems have magnetic fields, multi-scale magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) is of especial interest. In this paper we first discuss general issues in adaptive mesh refinement (AMR), We then focus on the important issues in carrying out divergence-free AMR-MHD and catalogue the progress we have made in that area. We show that AMR methods lend themselves to easy parallelization. We then discuss applications of the RIEMANN framework for AMR-MHD to problems in computational astophysics.

In this paper, I used microprocessor and sensor and designed to improve the efficiency of the photovoltaic system the photovoltaic position tracker device, and compared the normal photovoltaic system of fixed form with the photovoltaic system of solar position tracked form. Moreover, compared the catalogue of solar cell module and the simulation through a mathematics modelling with the solar cell's characteristic interpreting and, composed an power conversion system with boost converter and voltage source inverter. Used the constant voltage control method for maximum power point tracking in boost converter control and, used the SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) control method in inverter control.

Molluscan specimens collected in the whole country of Korea during the from 1994 through 2002, were identified and classified. A total of 1,560 molluscan species were listed in this study; one species in class Aplacophora, 18 species in class Polyplacophora, 1,038 species in class Gastropoda, 467 species in class Bivalvia, 14 species in class Scaphopoda and 22 species in class Cephalopoda. Among the identified species, 360 species (three species in class Polyplacophora, 266 species in class Gastropoda, 85 species in class Bivalvia, 6 species in class Scaphopoda) are newly recorded to Korean fauna.

A revised checklist of Korean Trichoptera is provided for the species recorded from the Korean Peninsula, including both North and South Korea. The checklist includes bibliographic research as well as results after reexamination of some specimens. For each species, we provide the taxonomic literature that examined Korean Trichoptera materials or mentioned significant taxonomic treatments regarding to Korean species. We also provide the records of unnamed species based on larval identification for further study. Based on taxonomic considerations, 20 species among the previously known nominal species in Korea are deleted or synonymized, and three species omitted from the previous lists, Hydropsyche athene Malicky and Chantaramongkol, 2000, H. simulata Mosely, 1942 and Helicopsyche coreana Mey, 1991 are newly added to the checklist. Hydropsyche formosana Ulmer, 1911 is recorded from the Korean Peninsula for the first time by the identification of Hydropsyche KD. In addition, we recognized 14 species of larvae separated with only tentative alphabetic designations. As a result, this new Korean Trichoptera checklist includes 218 currently recognized species in 66 genera and 25 families from the Korean Peninsula.

국내 도서관(圖書館) 및 정보기관(情報機關)이 소장하고 있는 외국학술잡지(外國學術雜誌)의 현황을 파악하고, 그 문제점을 제시하였다. 현황파악은 산업기술정보원(産業技術情報院)이 제작한 "외국학술잡지종합(外國學術雜誌綜合) 목록(目錄):과학기술편(科學技術篇)" 데이터베이스를 근거로 하였고, 그 문제점으로는 국내 소장자료가 부족하다는 것과, 그럼에도 불구하고 중복율(重複率)이 높다는 것, 그리고 기관 간의 협력이 미비(末備)하다는 점들이 지적되었다.

We examine the effect of environment on star formation activity of a sample of galaxy group catalogue given in Tempel et al.(2012) constructed from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 8. In order to compare galaxies in different environment, we classify galaxies into two groups: galaxies in low density environment and galaxies in high density environment. After matching colors and apparent magnitudes of the galaxies, we are left with 5912 galaxies in each of the environment category. The fraction of star-forming galaxies in low-density environment is ~34%, higher than ~15% in high-density environment. Star-forming galaxies in low density environment have a higher average SFR value than those in high density environment. The bulge-to-disk ratio for galaxies in two different environment shows bimodal distribution. Regardless of the environment, we find galaxies with high star formation rate despite their red (g-r) color, for which the origin enhancing their star formation rate is investigated.
