Recent wide and deep surveys allow us to investigate the large scale structure of the Universe at high redshift. We present studies of the clustering of high redshift galaxies, using reprocessed UKIDSS DXS catalogue. We measure the angular correlation function of high redshift galaxies which is Extremely Red Objects (EROs). Firstly we found that their angular correlation functions can be described by a broken power-law. We also found that red or bright samples are more strongly clustered than those having the opposite characteristics, and that old, passive EROs are found to be more clustered than dustry, star-forming EROs. Additionally the average halo mass and other properties were estimated using the halo model. Finally the observed clustering of EROs was compared with predictions from the cosmological simulation.

우리 은하에 있는 618개 이심궤도 식쌍성의 카타로그를 제작하였다. 그 이심 식쌍성들은 우리의 극심시각 database에 수록된, 또는 여러 전천 탐사 자료에서 수집된 측광 자료로부터 새롭게 결정된, 또는 우리가 직접 관측하여 얻은 약 13만개의 극심시각 자료의 식시각도 분석을 통하여 편집된 것이다. 618개의 이심 식쌍성 중에서 근성점 운동을 보이는 시스템은 모두 170개이며, 이중에서 30개의 쌍성이 근성점 운동과 광시간 효과가 동시에 일어난다. 근성점 운동을 보이는 별들의 근성점 운동 변수들을 일관된 방식으로 산출하여 카타로그에 수록하였다. 우리가 작성한 최신의 카타로그는 기존 카타로그에 비해 양과 내용에 있어 가장 방대하다. 우리 은하 근성점 운동 쌍성들과 소마제란 성운과 대마젤란 성운에서 발견된 근성점 운동 쌍성들을 모아 근성점 운동 변수들의 통계적 분포를 살펴 보았고, 그 결과들을 논의한다.

The study is to assist system developers or designers who are participated in the design of the user-computer interface on online services such as Online Public Access Catalogue and Online Search-ins. To design the optimal user interface, system developers and designers should try to complete the following process orderly: 1) they should know and understand the active and potential user's information seeking behaviors concerning online services in details as possible. 2) they should design the conceptional user model on basis of that knowledge. 3）They should design the logical and hierachical computer model adaptable to the current environment. 4) they should design the display of the computer terminal which is ease to learn and use by the users. 5) finally, they should design the optimal and practical user inter-face on basis of the above 2, 3, and 4.

When designing a gear drive, designers should specify tolerances reasonably considering accuracy, cost, and manufacturing capability. In field design, however, designers mostly assign adequate tolerance without correlations between parts and assembly, resulting in iterative design dependent on experts know-how. In order to resolve this, the tolerance design system for a cylindrical gear drive is developed both to support tolerance design automation and to synthesize design processes of part and assembly tolerances. In this research, part tolerances are designed with the databases constructed by ISO, Ks, JIS and bearing catalogue, Assemble tolerance, that is, backlash tolerance is designed by synthesizing part design tolerances stochastically using the formulated assembly relations. This system can include part tolerance and fitting accuracy of shaft adn bearing in practical design. In addition, this system provides field-designers with a synthetic guideline for tolerance design of a gear drive.

전보에서 외국산에 의해 기록된 한반도산 날개응애류 26종과 필자가 채집한 미기록종 29종 도합 65종의 목록을 발표한 바 있다. 그 후의 채집품을 조사결과 다수의 미기록종이 발견되었기에 전보를 증보하여 발표한다. 이로서 한반도산 날개응애류는 29상과, 59과, 99속, 158종이 되었다. 이밖에 미정리분중에도 약 50중의 미기록종이 포함되어 있으므로 한국산 날개응애류는 200여종이 되는 셈이지만 한국에 실재하고 있는 종수는 그 $2\~3$배가 될 것으로 추측된다. 또한 분포를 논할 단계는 아니지만 일본과의 공통종은 69종, 구주와의 공통종은 51종, 3자공통종은 55종이 되어 한반도 고유종은 34종이 된다. 그러나 우리나라와 인접해 있는 중국대륙의 날개응애상이 밝혀지면 고유종은 줄어들고 중국과의 공통종이 많아질 것이다.

From the uvby, $H_{\beta}$ photometry of intermediate population II F-stars in the catalogue of Olsen (1983), we derived age-metallicity relations for these stars, using Hejlesen's (1980) isochrone. The derived age-metallicity relations well coincide with the theoretical predictions by the unclosed two-zone model of Lee and Ann (1981). There are few extremely metal poor F-stars in the vicinity of the Sun, and it is very likely that the initial rapid metal enrichment in the galactic disk might have been processed through the fast collapse of the disk at the very early epoch.

We present the ultraviolet (UV) properties of early type galaxies (ETGs) in clusters. We obtained a cluster catalogue from Yoon et al.(2008) based on Sloan Digital Sky Survey(SDSS) DR5 in the redshift range of 0.05 < z <0.10. After matching sample galaxies in clusters with Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) GR5, we have classified the morphologies of ETGs by UV-optical colour distributions and investigated them in terms of the ranks in magnitude in a cluster and in clustocentric distance. It has recently been suggested theoretically that brightest cluster galaxies (BCGs) show a strong UV upturn than non-BCGs, but we find that the difference between them is not significant. Moreover, to our surprise, it appears that density (environment) does not play any significant role to the UV properties. consequent of internal galaxy processes rather than that of environmental processes.

이 연구의 목적은 D대학교 신입생들의 독서 행태를 조사 분석하여 대학생의 독서교육 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 독서교육 방안으로 중앙도서관의 각종 행사 개최, 관련학과의 독서교육 과목 채택, 독서인증제 도입, 필독도서목록 작성, 독서 교양과목 학점 인정, 매체를 통한 독서교육, 독서의 필수과목 채택 등을 제시하였다.

그리드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 세계의 많은 과학기술연구자들은 gLite 미들웨어 기반의 어플리케이션을 이용하고 있다. 미들웨어에서 데이터를 관리, 분석하기 위해서는 메타데이터 카탈로그 서비스를 이용하고 있으며, 유닉스, 그리드, 데이터베이스 환경에 익숙하지 않은 과학기술연구자들은 이 서비스를 이용하는데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문은 과학기술연구자로 하여금 gLite의 공식 컴포넌트인 메타데이터 카탈로그 서비스 이용 시 접근 제약을 최소화하고 사용자 친화적인 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하기 위한 메타데이터 카탈로그 GUI 툴 설계에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

This paper is an exploratory study about perceived risks related to career women's fashion lifestyles in case of catalogue shopping. Three research questions are proposed: 1. The first is to examine the types of career women's fashion lifestyles. 2. The second is to find out the kinds of perceived risks when career women purchase fashion apparels through catalogues. 3. The third is to investigate the relationships between fashion lifestyles and perceived risks. The empirical results were as follows. First, career women's fashion lifestyles were distinctively divided into the fashion-oriented group, the casual preference group, and the brand-name preference group. Second, seven unique perceived risks such as socio-psychological perceived risks, product assortment perceived risks, quality/function perceived risks, customer services & conveniences perceive risks, economic perceived risks, and order waiting-time perceived risks were manifested when career women purchase fashion apparels using catalogues. Finally, significant differences in socio-psychological perceived risks, product assortment perceived risks, and quality/function perceived risks were shown among fashion lifestyle clusters. However, the others were not.
